Complete lack of customer service. I ordered multiple flower arrangements for my wife on her birthday. She travels around a bit for work, throughout Ontario, and I wanted to deliver some flowers to her at her various sites. Spoke with this company on the phone and was met with a very abrasive employee who did not like that I was asking if expedited delivery was an option (that I would obviously pay for). She said "no," and I just accepted that, as it's not typically beneficial to argue over company policy. So, I just elected to have the flowers delivered a day early. And I left a note for the addressee to "hold until May 1." This is where the confusion sets in... Though my actual order shows a delivery date of April 30, Urban Florist read the note and assumed that I wanted it delivered on May 1. Instead of calling me to clear up any confusion, they called me on the afternoon of my expected delivery date to tell me that A) they did not deliver my order because of the confusing verbiage, B) they don't even have the necessary flowers for the order, and C) they had no desire to offer any sort of solution. The only thing the woman kept saying on the phone over and over again is that I confused them with the note. She eventually only offered me a refund, after ultimately hanging up on me. I tried to reason, by accepting some fault for providing conflicting notes, but there was no reasoning coming from the other side of the phone. So, I can't attest to the quality of their product, but I can only comment on the absolutely terrible customer service I received. No willingness to admit any fault, no willingness to come up with any sort of solution, no willingness to improve the ordering process, and apparently no willingness to be a decent human being.

My sweet hubby came home after work and surprised me with the most beautiful bouquet of flowers. They are absolutely stunning and have the perfect combination of flowers in pretty pastel colors. This is definitely a fuller arrangement than usual and I'm not mad about it! He said he had a great experience with Juan at Urban Florist. He gave him a budget range along with the style he knows I like and Juan was able to create an arrangement that came out on the lower end of his range which was much appreciated. I put them in a vase immediately and now they are sitting on our front entry table and it makes me smile every time I walk by. Thank you Juan, for this beautiful bouquet of flowers! I'm one happy wifey :)

This is my second time using Urban Florist. Recently, my father was buried at Bellevue Cemetery with full military honors. I was looking for an arrangement that would complement the flag draped on his casket. I chose the red, white, and blue arrangement from a catalog. When the arrangement arrived, I was stunned. It was absolutely gorgeous and larger than I expected. It could not have been more perfect for the occasion as taps was played and the flag was presented. The arrangement arrived well before the service and they knew exactly where to go for the delivery. These occasions are never easy. Having a beautiful floral arrangement warmed my heart.

per jose the florist these were fresh out of the package on thursday , they've been dead since yesterday, friday and there is nothing they will do about it. Roses do not wilt this fast unless they're old . The red roses are nice and healthy but all the pink roses are wilted and pretty sad looking. Claims it is our fault? I know how flower care works ! I even gave them a small trim and put them straight in water? Im not even blaming them as a whole sometimes it not even the florist fault it's the wholesaler they buy it from... but I'm just taking my Loss on this one /:

I have used Urban Florists for any flower arrangements needed ( when my wife received merits at her university , when my daughter graduated as a therapist, when my grandmother passed, and most recently my wife's birthday) photo enclosed. I wanted to send flowers to a friend who lives in Ontario. I did a search for local flower shops and found Urban Florist - a family-owned business. I checked out the selections online and picked out an arrangement. The checkout process was easy, and you can even add a tip for the delivery driver. Same day delivery is available; however, I wanted it sent the next day. The base of the arrangement was a cute happy face mug instead of a vase. The morning of delivery I received a phone call to let me know they didn't have the mug in the size I selected. They would be able to pick it up later that day and deliver it the next day or I could upgrade and have it delivered as scheduled at no extra charge. I was appreciative of their offer. Since I wanted it delivered that day I asked for the upgrade and thanked them for not charging me extra for it. I received an e-mail confirmation of my order, an e-mail the day letting me know it was scheduled for delivery, and an e-mail when it was delivered. My friend was delighted when she received it and sent me a text to let me know how happy it made her, which is what mattered most to me. I would definitely use Urban Florist again. read more

I live in Virginia and my gf lives in Ontario,CA. I have been ordering her flowers from this shop for a few weeks now and she is obsessed with them! They do an amazing job. I believe their flowers are even better looking in person than in the website pics, they do not disappoint! Have had no issues with them being delivered either. I am so, so pleased with Urban Florist! I needed a birthday gift for a dear friend of mine and decided to give the "Florist's Design" a try. The staff were friendly and helpful and delivered beyond my expectations! I was so shocked when the lady brought out this arrangement. I recommended this place for their customer service, the quality, and the price. Also, their shop had a bunch of cute trinkets and other little gifts, which I was not expecting. I ordered flowers for my mom's 75th birthday. They were so nice and attentive. I told them the colors I wanted and the flowers that my mom liked. I wanted something bright and colorful. My only stipulation was it needed to have sunflowers because it they're my mom's fave. I gave them my budget, and they kept well in range. They did an absolute beautiful job. She was so happy, and the arrangement is gorgeous! Let me just say - the picture doesn't do it Justice! It was huge! And made a statement! The total cost was about $160 with delivery. read more

I went with this florist based on the good reviews. Went on their website and after careful consideration I picked out a plant to send to my husband. It was called a dream green planter that was supposed to come in a wooden box. Before I placed my order online I had called the actual flower shop just to make sure that they would be able to deliver that day and what the fees were . The person that I spoke to on the phone said that yes they could deliver the same day and told me it was $17 for a delivery fee and that the flower arrangement would be something that they would pick out on their own since it's considered a last-minute order since I'm getting it delivered the same day. A designers choice. Then I said well I'm picking out this dream green planter online and he said OK that's fine you could place your order online giving me no indication that they would not have the box that it's supposed to come in or any of the green plants pictures on the website. I do understand that they're not gonna have everything but from what I ordered online is completely different from what my husband received. I'm super disappointed because after a delivery fee a service fee and $75 for the plant with my total cost at $107 I thought I was going to get what I picked out!!! So I called and the same guy answered that I talked to earlier in the morning and he said that he told me it would be designers choice and I'm like you said that for flowers and I told you I was looking at the dream green plant. He could have at least said it's going to come in an ugly basket. I would have went somewhere else. He said I would need to give them 2-3 days notice to have gotten the box they show that they have online Well there should be a big notice online "SAME DAY ORDERS WILL NOT LOOK LIKE WHAT YOU ORDER. NEED 2-3 DAYS NOTICE TO GET WHAT YOU WANT" All the guy said on the phone was sorry after I told him how upset I was. Well that was a waste of $107. read more

The guys and gals at Urban never disappoint. I go out of my way from 3 cities over to pick up arrangements from them. Their arrangements always look like the pictures from their website. And I'm not sure if wiring long stem roses is a lost art, but these guys hit it every time. That alone, atleast for me, is worth the drive. Arrangements were GORGEOUS! Had a wreath, casket arrangement, and boutonnieres for a funeral service and the service was great but the arrangements were exceptional! Delivery was inexpensive and on time. Last minute boutonnieres were ordered during services and they came through. Highly recommend. read more

He understood exactly what I was wanting, gave me a link to FTD to verify my thoughts, then voila', a photo of the completed arrangement was sent to me for approval! As explained to Becky T. We do not deliver to hospitals because 90% of the the time hospitals reject the deliveries. We don't allow or prefer our employees not to deliver directly to the rooms for safety reasons. Our website is run by an outside company and does not give us the option to filter out orders. However, we do offer to deliver to a different address or pick-up. The sender also has the option to deliver to the front desk at the hospital. The customer service is great and the arrangement they did for my mother-in-law was beautiful. It was so pretty I wanted to keep it for myself. The guy asked me what flowers I wanted and in a few minutes it was done. I was very happy that he used a lot of flowers and very little fillers. I told my husband to get my anniversary flowers here. The tall young man behind the counter was more than fair and honest in his business practices by advising me that I did not need as many flower petals as I was trying to buy.
