In fact, I had the same few times during my stay. ;) Also enjoyed salad and fruit varieties/options which change everyday. Dinner: I don't normally dine at the hotel restaurant (nothing against it, just trying to enjoy local restaurants), however, the Bank Brasseries was recommended by a couple of people particularly on their beef tartare and Wiener schnitzel. I'm glad that I did - those two dishes are definitely highly recommended. Service: Great during both breakfast and dinner. The server during dinner (Andrew, I think) was professional and great in providing excellent suggestions.

My drink was very good...I hadn't found much bourbon around Vienna so it was great to get a quality Old Fashioned. The strudel with vanilla sauce was also great. Yelp Review 2023 # 37:…read more My first time here. I reserved a table but it turns out, I didn't have to reserve a table for 10:30am. But I didn't want to risk it. I arrived at 10:30am but the doors were locked and no signs of life. So, I walked around - it's a touristy shopping area. I came back close to 11am and got seated immediately. I was the first person there. I had my tastebuds set to have currywurst since I won't be going to Germany on this trip. Austria is Germany's neighbor so, why not? The lovely server/ bartender gave me the breakfast menu which of course didn't have currywurst. I politely asked her if it would be possible to have currywurst. She nicely told me she would ask the kitchen if they can make it happen. As I waited for an answer, I was looking at the breakfast menu for a plan B but I simply wasn't feeling breakfast food. She came back with great news! They can start the fryer for the fries but it would take a while which was fine. At least, I was in a warm place in the middle of winter! My currywurst hit the spot! It was hot, had the right flavors, and the fries were fresh, hot and crispy. If beer is your jam, this is the place to be. This is a bar after all!
