By far the absolute WORST rental company in this area. We refinished the kitchen cabinets that were falling apart from mold, steam cleaned the carpets in the entire house, planted grass in front and back yard, added a island to the kitchen to make it more chief friendly and was in the process of refinishing the bathroom when we were told we had to move.. Then they charged me an extra amount and sent me to collections on an unfair claim...yes I have picture's and all my proof... NEVER EVER rent from Jacob Grant I don't know how they're still in business.

The water heater is from 1989 and is supposed to be changed 8-12 years. There should have been 3 installed at this property.... Every bathroom in the house isn't up to code. There is no way for any of the heat to escape because there isn't a vent or window. It took 7 months for them to install a vent fan in the main bathroom. But, the walls look TERRIBLE. There is streaks of water/ paint all over the bathroom. When I asked Jacob Grant to clean it, they sent the mainlanders guy over to tell me that "they can try to clean the walls, they won't paint it, and I have to pay for the labor." How bad of a management company can you be?!? Anyways I'm so fed up that Dorie will never call me back and that they just don't truly care about their properties or the people they are renting too. I'm going to get with legal counsel so i can make the next correct moves because the price is not worth it.

We gave him our specifications and he found them. He didn't waste our time trying to show us what he thought was good for us, he took our ideas and put them together. In looking at the houses we did, I told him that all other houses went back to "the one" and was scared to settle for less than that - even for 5k-10k fewer dollars. He insisted that we go with what we want since this is the house that we wanted. At times we felt high-maintenance for our part, but Aaron never made us feel that way. He cares about those he helps and works to get us what we are looking for. Huge help, big heart. Aaron has character and you will be able to trust him right away.

Stay with me on this one, this is going to be a little different…read more.. Aaron and I met when he was looking to become an investor many years ago in Long Beach Calif. (He now owns 17 units). He was also a successful contractor specializing in working with realtors and their clients. He proved to be head and shoulder above the competition when it came to the details and quality of his trade, always exceeding the expectations for me and my clients. (I am a realtor in Calif.) When Mr. Gerry left So Cal to expand his real estate business in Washington, I had the good fortune to refer one of my clients (That sold a home in Long Beach) to him for their purchase in Puyallup a few years back. After Aaron completed their relocation they sent me a glowing letter of appreciation stating what Aaron had done to accommodate them in a very difficult time in their lives... "Aaron was the perfect man for the job. Always thinking ahead and knowing where we were headed before we even knew to ask the question" ,"He talked to us like people not a statistic" and " "He made moves that were not always in his best interest, but made the deal better for us" I will always refer my Puyallup area relocations to Mr. Gerry. Thank you for doing everything you said you would. (And then some).

Horrendous experience with the jerk slumlord and the absentee owner. we are leaving them soon and…read moreevery time we have needed help, landlord tried to somehow make it our fault and avoid fixing it. they provided me with a fridge that malfunctioned and he charged me to fix it, claiming it was mine! I felt diminished and afraid to ask for help because of his projection and gaslighting and his general air of arrogance. when I called him on it, he pulled that "I have a wife and daughters so I couldn't possibly be sexist" card. He dismissed my disability and raised rent consistently. In an already predatory market, avoid them!

If this business is any indication of how people in Idaho Falls act, then I want nothing to do with…read moreIdaho Falls. I am looking to relocate to Idaho to be near my elderly parents, and since both my wife and I are retired and are taking care of her disabled son, we have a Section 8 (Housing Choice Voucher) to assist us. After finding out the amount of rent we could afford, I started looking online for a place to rent. I found a place that would qualify, saw that they accepted pets, met all the companies rental requirements, and paid the application fee. We were approved for a unit, but when they sent the lease I noticed that there was an additional pet rent, and a maintenance service fee. These two "fees" put us over the rent amount approved by Section 8, thus disqualifying us from the unit. In addition, the company charges a non-refundable $250 "lease initiation fee". What upsets me the most is that if they had listed the "pet inspection service" on their advertisement or anywhere on their web site, we never would have applied for this property. Now we are out the $75 application fee. I spoke with the office and explained that due to the fact that they have misleading advertising and are not upfront with additional fees, we would like at least a partial refund on our application fee. They are going to "look into it", which of course is a polite way of saying no. In short, this company charges hidden fees, is not open and honest about their policies and only cares about making money, at the expense of its client base. Stay away from this company.

During that time, we slaved to try and contact our agent, and they would never call us back even after conversations committing to a call back the very next day. The service was terrible, communication was terrible, and they had no professionalism. Appliances that weren't replaced or tended to by the previous renters or blue pine: the food disposal (broke--a screw flew out of the sink), water filter, sinks (unbelievably clogged), windows covered in hard water stains, front door seal allows light in at the bottom, the light fixture is broken in the master bedroom, and there is a mouse infestation in the garage. I understand every company has its problems, but after asking around, many people have had the exact same issues I've had. Blue Pine is a terrible company to go with if you are a homeowner. I do not recommend.

They inspected the property I needed to rent, and ran background and rental history and credit checks on potential renters. They recommended I fix some things so the renters would be happy as well. The people BluePine selected for me were the best renters imaginable. It was well worth it to me to pay the modest fees charged by Blue Pine for their services. They were very responsive to any questions I had for them. If I could give them ten stars, I would, but since I can only use five stars, they get all of them, with gold glitter!
