Dr. Susan Ngo was very helpful and was able to answer my questions and provide the help that I needed. The clinic also had a pharmacy which was very efficient in getting the prescription right after your visit with the doctor. The pharmacy also offers a free Mcdonald's coffee while you wait for your prescription! This is probably the most customer service oriented clinic that I've ever been to.

My first visit comprised of the following: TV blaring (very loudly/hyper program on), not conducive to a wellness environment, and ice on the ramp - not salted - HUH? Really 'great' for people with muscular-skeletal issues. Second time I went back (to pick up my orthotics), they turned off the TV and salted the ramp (snowy day) - not asking too much. Figured it was over, done. Got my orthotics, bye bye. Today I received an unsolicited e-mail from them (mass-mailing, obviously) which had the word (in caps) "IMPORTANT announcement" (on the subject line), and several "urgent" (in bold) throughout the e-mail. INAPPROPRIATE!!!!!!!!! When one receives an e-mail from a medical clinic and the words "important"/"urgent" are on there, this is not calming ... or relaxing ... or "well-making". Someone obviously had a lot of time on their hands to create this somewhat in your face, super-duper "important" e-mail. I could not even unsubscribe from this nuisance. I left them a voicemail message telling them to take me off - never want to hear from you again! There are interactions and experiences in life which simply do not leave one with a positive impression and this was one example. My opinion!

It is easy to get to by public transportation or by car. Decor Watson Medical Clinic is a new clinic and the decor was very nice and modern. Service I found the doctor to be very brusque and not very friendly. He was not very friendly. Tips Watson Medical Clinic is opened 7 days a week which is great. She's totally non-judgemental - I can tell her anything (and have!) and she doesn't even raise an eyebrow. She listens to my concerns and investigates them appropriately, but without ever going into over-cautious just-covering-my-ass mode (I work in health care. I know what it can be like). She has never brushed anything off as all in my head or "just nothing" and I have faith that she never will. She even calls me herself with abnormal results. Really. She's super. But that's not the best thing about Spadina Health Centre. Along with the great location (Bloor and Spadina!) and the friendly, competent reception staff, it is incredibly easy to book appointments (they can always fit me in within a day or two for urgent stuff and within a couple of weeks for yearly physicals) and I have never, ever waited more than five minutes to be seen at the clinic. Seriously. I'll say it again. I have never waited more than five minutes to be seen for my appointments at this clinic. If the horror stories my clients tell me are any indication, this is almost unheard of in Toronto. Sadly for all of you, I don't think that any of the docs at this clinic are accepting patients right now, so it's sort of unfair to even mention how fantastic they are. But I'm at the tail end of the 30 day yelp challenge and I'm really scraping the barrel for review ideas, so neener neener.

This is a good sign that in terms of administrative functions, it is quite efficient. In respect of the medical services, I have no idea how they are doing until I visit them next time.

From experience, the doctors are good here but I'm not a fan of how the receptionist runs things. In the past, I would wait 10 mins max. I'm not sure what happened. Once she was done with her questions, she stood up and headed to the door immediately, so ready to leave. Had the rest of the conversation and inquiries with her standing between her desk and the door. She answered most but not all of my questions. But I didn't want to continue the inquiries anymore anyways, because her posture and responses made me feel like I was wasting her time. I'm not sure what to feel about her asking "Why would you?" several times to my conditions, to my past experience, even to just a piece of information about women's health practice that's not done in this clinic but commonly done elsewhere. Because I didn't feel much listened or attended to, I'm not sure whether I would feel safe to come back again if I have other women's health or sexual health related issues. Had hey sent him home with oral antibiotics I don't think he would've made it. They saved his life. I will forever be grateful to these doctors. Oh and did I mention the lovely ladies at the front desk? Their voices always sound like singing birds. I love listening to them in the background. They obviously love their jobs and are all friends. Before anything, let me be fully clear, Doctors/ Physicians in the clinic are amazing, I am with my family doctor from a long time, however the admin team has been a nightmare. I underwent surgery in March 2026, which lead me to be bed ridden for recovery till May 2026. I lost my job, my OSAP went into overpayment, I am under extreme financial hardship and I was attacked racially on the streets of Toronto. I was recovering, hence could not make it to the appointments, when asked about it, I was told about "policies" and "fees" I must pay before I see my doctor. I gently asked to waive it OR allow me to delay the payment till I am capable of giving it / do it in instalments. It was relayed to my doctor as I am asking to waive fees and I was informed it cannot be done. The email had issues lines up, I was looking to get my doc to fill in some forms, insurance/ hardship related, I was told how much that would "COST". I had to leave it on the side. I received an email saying I am no more on ROSTER because I missed appointments! I was genuinely taken aback. My psychiatrist had stopped the practice, so my files was being transferred to family doctor. Admin team at UHN did it, honestly, multiple times. It never reached my doctor. During my current hard time, facing depression, anxiety, adhd and an attack because I am a different race, with no money, poor credit fighting to get a job, I started overcoming my issues. I asked again for an appointment, because UHN confirmed that I was still with this clinic, they replied with "policy rules", "admin fees"! I have an entire email chain! The admin from UHN helped me with getting the records, and I PERSONALLY SENT THEM! My doctor understandably could not read everything because there were more than 200 visits to be read! So from whatever time I was a patient of this clinic, UHN did send the records, and they NEVER reached my doctor, until I had to find a way to provide it to them! Finally after asking for an appointment I finally got one last week, I finally saw my doctor and we had a plan, from the conversation I noticed he was relayed with selective information, and when he said he supports the admin team, I reassured him I understand policies and why you are supporting them, however, my MAIN CONCERNS have not reached you! Me and my doctor had a plan, I requested for one of my forms to be signed on Friday, according to clinic "policy" I was late with the email so they were going to answer me next business day. Monday has passed by, Tuesday is almost coming to an end, and I am ghosted yet again! It is extremely hard not to take this personally, I have been clarifying asking giving feedbacks in a real positive light whenever possible. BUT THE ADMIN TEAM HAS ABSOLUTELY NO EMPATHY! WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE DURING MY OWN ROCK BOTTOM! I have a steady rapport with my doctor, so I cannot even go anywhere else, but to get to him, THIS HUGE HURDLE is just an impossible task! And get it right, they are VERY RUDE with their responses too! I am extremely disappointed! Isnt this the care team I can rely on when I need support? Apparently not! Very very displeased with the EXPERIENCE!!!!! I wish I could give NO star or a half STAR, and again, THE DOCTORS ARE GENUINELY GREAT! Also, I myself am an internationally trained DENTIST with 5 years of experience, now pursuing healthcare research! Never in my life I would have imagined a team who cares nothing about the people in need!
