Maggie Mahan was one of my FAVORITE vendors. Photography has always been incredibly important to me and was my priority when it came to vendors at my wedding. We found Maggie through recommendations and preferred vendor lists, and we were not disappointed. She is incredibly personable and creates a lovely atmosphere. I can be awkward, and I usually do not like photos of myself. We hired her to do our engagement photos and our wedding. Maggie made my fiancé and I comfortable and had us laughing during our engagement session! It was probably one of my favorite date nights! We did the engagement session early because we wanted time to get the photographs back and work on our save the dates. Maggie sent us around 200 photos within two weeks from our session! It was incredibly fast, and the photographs blew me away! I am obsessed with them! Leading up to the wedding, Maggie also acted as a planner and a resource. She sent me advice columns on different aspects and answered all my questions regarding different parts of the wedding. She even sent us an entire packet answering common questions, helping us pick out outfits, etc. She would answer my questions before I even knew I had one to ask. Leading up to the day, she was incredibly instrumental in managing our timeline. I recently went to two weddings for my friends that ran quite late and off schedule. I expressed my concerns, and Maggie handled everything flawlessly. She kept us running on schedule and even ahead of schedule at some points! At the wedding she arrived at the venue early - even before me! She was running around taking photos of EVERYTHING. I absolutely loved her. She was one of the BEST decisions we made when we were planning our wedding! I HIGHLY recommend her! We will definitely be using her in the future for any anniversary, pregnancy, or family occasions. read more

Maggie recently photographed our wedding and also took my bridal portraits. There is no doubt Maggie's heart is "all in" when it comes to photography and making sure your day is special in all the little details she pays close attention to. She initially asked a number of questions to get to know us as a couple and to see our vision for our special day. Over the course of our engagement, she took the time to send blogs she had written that truly helped guide us into making sure even the smallest details turned out perfectly. She doesn't show up simply for the hours she's allotted, but instead, puts her heart, time and efforts into making sure you feel like you are her favorite clients (and to be honest, she does a really good job at that). She truly listens to what shots are important to you, even the smallest insecurities you have and focuses on making you feel beautiful. She goes over the top with her customer service, from watching the weather the day of and informing me as needed to sending us a Starbucks gift card the week before our wedding to ensure we had a reason to sneak away for a date night. She's efficient with her timing of the sessions and returns your images to you in a timely manner as well. We returned from our honeymoon to find a complimentary canvas print of our wedding photos, amongst a gift basket of goodies and even more prints. THAT is exceptional service! There is no doubt Maggie now has a special place in our hearts. She's known to be more than our wedding photographer but someone who played a very special part of our big day! We loved working with Maggie! While on the job, she is professional, personable and ebullient. Outside of the engagement shoot and wedding, she was consistently communicative, and impressively fast with the turn-around of picture proofs. Every time we had questions or concerns, Maggie took the time to understand and work through each of them. Her experience with wedding timelines, ideas, and contingencies was invaluable when planning our own. As a Dallas-native, she is well-versed with what the Metroplex has to offer, and her suggestions led to two great locations for pictures that we wouldn't have found otherwise. Maggie was 110% awesome! Her work was exactly what we dreamed of. Her photography is incredibly beautiful and amazingly done, with a fantastic eye for color and composition, and every photograph that she took reflects her skills as an artist. Even though we knew that much just from looking at her work from the beginning, we didn't know we'd be getting an absolute gem. Maggie helped us out with all the details, from being very accommodating with our schedules to even helping us get our wedding day timeline organized, and even helped bustle the wedding dress after it kept falling! When planning my wedding the only thing I was concerned with was who was my photographer going to be. I spoke with at least 50 different photographers and none of them compared to Maggie! I kept telling my parents if all I have at my wedding is my husband and Maggie I will be happy because after that once in a lifetime day the only thing I will have are memories and the photos. From our engagement session to purchasing photos after the big day Maggie was absolutely amazing to work with! You will truly feel like you have found a friend in her. The night of our engagement session she went to dinner with my family which meant so much to Tyler and I. I wish I could give more than 5 stars, because I cannot say enough good things about Maggie! We absolutely love her! She not only captured our special day beautifully but was an integral part in making it happen! Maggie knew exactly what it was that I wanted, and did everything in her power to make it happen. Last minute our day-of coordinator was unable to make the wedding due to a family emergency, but Maggie stepped in and kept everything running smoothly. I am so thankful for her!! Throughout the whole process she was kind, patient, and oh so encouraging! She helped to make us feel comfortable with her and the camera, and really made an effort to get to get to know us. We couldn't be happier with our photos (in fact my husband is now trying to convince me we don't need to frame every single one of them for our home. I remain unconvinced!). Maggie was an absolute joy to work with, start to finish! After consulting with many different photographers and nothing "feeling" right, I met Maggie! She was so personable from reaching out to us often, sending us great advice for our wedding, and phone calls. She also worked with us on budget and changing inclusions to what we needed most. On the day of the wedding, she was on time and efficient in our super tight schedule. She worked well with our wedding planner and videographer to get pictures done as fast as possible in the hot summer sun. We received sneak peaks within days and a full gallery shortly after. My husband and I are so incredibly impressed with the quality of photos, quick turnaround, and warmth she showed us throughout the whole process. I honestly don't even know where to start. SHE IS AMAZING. Her photos are perfect. Everything I dreamed of being captured, she captured. She listens to your requests and does everything she can to make it happen. She gives you so many pictures to choose from. I loved all the photos I got back after the wedding! Maggie was amazing! From the first conference call to months after the wedding she was professional, helpful, and a delight to work with. She goes above and beyond to contact all your vendors, help the bride and groom with timelines, assure you get every picture you want, and makes you feel completely comfortable in that whole process. Even when my engagement pictures included three rowdy dogs, mosquito swarms, make-up melting 100 degree heat, and a cut foot, she managed to make the images look stunning. I get compliments all the time about how amazing my pictures look and people are in awe of her work. My step-father even said that my wedding was gorgeous, but Maggie's pictures showed every elegant detail and just made it look all that more beautiful. Maggie was amazing! Because I live in Michigan, we had never met in person before the day before the wedding! However, because of awesome communication, I never was nervous because of that. We even did a photoshoot the day before to get comfortable with Maggie. She was so fast in taking pictures, which our guests loved. They did my engagement, Bridals, and wedding pics and captured every moment. For my Bridal's they were very good at telling me how to pose and their high quality camera captured every detail of my dress.
