Dentist provides quality care and spent a lot of time explaining my options. However, I felt like I was drowning during the procedure because there wasn't enough suction in the device (or because the hygienist wasn't using it enough). For context: we had an appointment scheduled Dec 9 at 4:30 pm. On Dec. 8 I called in the morning to see if I can reschedule and the person I spoke with said they'll give me a call back at the end of the day for a new date and time. Never got a call, but I figured they were busy and that we'll just make the original appointment work. On Dec. 9, I called an hour before the appt and said that we were running late because of school traffic and asked if I could bump her appt down to 4:45 instead of the original 4:30. They said it was fine and they'll see us then. We got there a little after 4:50 and when I went to check in they said they couldn't see us because we were 15 mins past the grace period. I told them that wasn't right, because our appt was at 4:45. They said they had us down for 4:30, so I explained the call I made the day before attempting to reschedule and the call I made that same day where they said I could come in at 4:45. The lady said since the call center took my call, they have no record in their system and therefore have to forfeit my appt because all the doctor's were booked. Lady tried to say the miscommunication with them has been an ongoing issue, and that there was nothing she could do. Very disappointing given the miscommunication was on THEIR end. You would think they would've done something differently since they have actively known about the issue. Shame that 8 years of loyalty have gone down the drain over an issue that they were aware of. My daughter now goes to my dentist, Dr. Taha over at the ToothBooth. My husband and I have been going there for at least 6 years and we have never had any issues. They always go above and beyond, especially in communicating. Within a week I had an appt there for my daughter and she was in and out in less than 45 mins. for her cleaning/check up. My daughter then began searching local dentist in her near by town , she found this place , we called about 3 pm and got a same day appointment, unfortunately the tooth was really infected but also needed to be extracted , I was examined and given a prescription for antibiotics with an appointment to return in a couple of days . I everyone from reception to the billing and clinical staff were amazing , I was in a lot of pain and feeling quite vulnerable , but the staff were patient and compassionate , they worked as a team to provide all the resources needed to help me , needless to say I returned a couple days after my antibiotics and they extracted my tooth and placed a bone graft , so grateful and thankful, Dr G Nilah dental assistant Taylor dental assistant And all the clerical staff .

The hygienist did a great job! Mouth and tooth pain can be the worst kind of pain. I just had several cavities filled in one session and it was the best experience I've ever had. I always have a lot of jaw pain during dental procedures and Dr. McDonald was considerate and caring the entire time, which meant a lot. I also had some bonding done (which I am very pleased with) and plan on getting more cosmetic work here in the future. :)
