Zero stars. Very careless and unprofessional by every single person I have met here including and especially the doctors. Nobody seems to be taking ownership. By FAR the worst dentist I have been to. This place should be shut down. Horrible experience, I would NOT take a child here. Look elsewhere. I had the same experience that many others reviewers mentioned with an over a 3 hour wait time for a scheduled procedure. My child has now been fasting for more than 15 hours, 5 hours more than necessary. Lack of communication and organization especially when it comes to a 4 year old. We have been planning this procedure for months and I was not given any information that it would be a wait time this long. I have done same procedures at other places without this issue. Everything before the procedure was very disorganized. The assistant talking to me as we speak sounds like she is half asleep and mumbling off. Has no idea what she is doing. Did not even know my name (I am the legal guardian). Did not have the right paper work (had someone else's) I would gladly pay another practice more for better quality service. Their "Patient Advocate" , Evelyn that replies to these reviews are just automated copy and paste. Not helpful. Most of these positive reviews are generated via paid agencies to boost their Google reviews. For a better representation of their actual reviews check Yelp (2.8/5) but even that is over inflated. I've been taking my daughter here for 8 years. Rodeo has been her dentist since we moved to Texas. I hate that we had to move her because of miscommunication from the call center that they use to take appointments. For context: we had an appointment scheduled Dec 9 at 4:30 pm. On Dec. 8 I called in the morning to see if I can reschedule and the person I spoke with said they'll give me a call back at the end of the day for a new date and time. Never got a call, but I figured they were busy and that we'll just make the original appointment work. On Dec. 9, I called an hour before the appt and said that we were running late because of school traffic and asked if I could bump her appt down to 4:45 instead of the original 4:30. They said it was fine and they'll see us then. We got there a little after 4:50 and when I went to check in they said they couldn't see us because we were 15 mins past the grace period. I told them that wasn't right, because our appt was at 4:45. They said they had us down for 4:30, so I explained the call I made the day before attempting to reschedule and the call I made that same day where they said I could come in at 4:45. The lady said since the call center took my call, they have no record in their system and therefore have to forfeit my appt because all the doctor's were booked. Lady tried to say the miscommunication with them has been an ongoing issue, and that there was nothing she could do. Very disappointing given the miscommunication was on THEIR end. You would think they would've done something differently since they have actively known about the issue. Shame that 8 years of loyalty have gone down the drain over an issue that they were aware of. My daughter now goes to my dentist, Dr. Taha over at the ToothBooth. My husband and I have been going there for at least 6 years and we have never had any issues. They always go above and beyond, especially in communicating. Within a week I had an appt there for my daughter and she was in and out in less than 45 mins. for her cleaning/check up. I called for a quote for replacement retainer(s). I was told I would have to come in for that to reevaluate. Was scheduled for 12:30, they go to lunch @1 so there was NO ONE there to do the impressions for new retainers. Was told to come back at 2. So why schedule someone at 12:30 knowing there's a possibility they will be getting new retainers? Was quoted $175, I agreed and paid. Came back the next day to pickup to be told it's ANOTHER $175 that I had only paid for 1 piece of the retainer. I didn't ask to be quoted for one piece. I asked the entirety. Don't they know what I'm coming for? The braces were done there, the original retainers were done there. Why would I be misquoted or told the price of one piece? Who pays half before and half the next day? Their reasoning made no sense. Incompetent staff with scheduling and finances. Horrible place. read more

The little movie theater chairs in the waiting room were DISGUSTING. They literally need a deep cleaning. And then one of receptionist with dark long curly hair was acting so short with me after i wasn't able to set up an appointment to come back in. when i requested for a doctors note, I know i had said for work excuse originally but then i came back because i had meant to say school excuse. She acted so annoyed that she had to print me out another one. And then she's like "well you asked for a work excuse" in the most smart aleck way." Had an appointment for 8 am was not seen till almost 10 the clinic was over booked was told that I would get my kids tooth by the doctor when she was brought to me in the back of the building "next to the trash dumpster " I asked for the tooth they told me it was thrown away because it was infected why would the doctor tell me that she could take it. I think they threw away the tooth and tooth and was just trying to make an excuse to justify. I am now looking for a new dental facility for my three kids. This place used to give very good service. No, it is flat out bad service. 1st issue is that they do not discuss the amount owed for the service ahead of the treatment. So I had missed work and got my daughter out of school so I could be presented with a charge of 100$ I was not prepared for. 2nd issue is that we rescheduled our treatment due to this payment issue I wasn't ready for and they made it an exam rather then a treatment appt so yes..... again we came for no reason 3rd issue we are now back here finally completing treatment and half way through, the dentist leaves for like 30-40 min to work on another child. This place right here I was very impressed. I came in for an initial consultation for my daughter getting braces. When you walk in the place is very inviting nice comfortable seating, TV to watch. The employees are very nice and helpful. Dr. Dugoni was excellent very friendly explain the process throughly gave her a kits, and toothbrush. I have switch my daughter to Rodeo to become here regular dental visit for cleaning and check ups as well. When I cane in there was the spring break special the payment option was very reasonable which was one of my major concerns. If you have been looking where to go I highly recommend this. spot. The best dental experience by far!! I was referred to Rodeo Dental by my friend who is currently a patient. At first I was hesitant to try them because they're so far!! They're about a good 35 min drive from my house but I'm glad I chose this dentistry office! My first visit went very well. During my initial visit Dr. Guillory went over what I need done and the best route to go. I recently had a tooth extraction done by their team. First of all, AWESOME bedside manner. Like many of us, I dread having to go to the dentist, but their team makes sure that you're comfortable and at ease. When I was going over my payment option for my extraction, Lali and Lashandra helped me. They were great. They went over my costs throughly and helped me with some of the costs. I see Dr. Guillory, and he's great! Before I scheduled my procedure, he went over what was going to happen and his game plan for treatment. He went over what was going to take place before my procedure. Afterwards, he stayed and gave thorough information about after care. I appreciate that he doesn't rush through your consultation, he took the time to go over everything with me. Don't let the interior fool you. Even though it's catered to mostly kids (no jokes please! lol) , they provide excellent treatment for adults. An assistant told me that about 70% of their patients are kids and the remaining 30% are adults. Overall, my visits with Rodeo Dental have been awesome. I for one usually hates going to the dentist, but this time, it was much different. I just came to get my wisdom teeth removed and aside from the injections in my mouth to make it feel numb, I didn't feel a thing to entire procedure. Another thing I want to highlight the kindness of the employees, with them constantly asking how is your well being and giving short period of breaking time to catch your breath before continuing onward. Two girls in particular I adored being there with me during my procedure was the lady and the front desk Danielle, and the dentist herself Trinity, in which both of them are dime pieces, not gonna lie. "Love at first sight" fairytale bs aside, this is one of the best dentist appointments I've ever had, and it was all thanks to the brilliant employees at Rodeo Dental. God Bless Y'all read more

First it was the service and actions of the office. Now its the quality of the work! My 4 YEAR OLD SON just popped out TWO caps that the so called "pediatric dentist" put in his mouth. Caps that should last till he is 8 to 10! So 6 to 8 years. Not just over 2! My son has four caps in his mouth. And 2 just popped out. With no help. Nothing crazy. What about the other 2. I have delayed going to the dentist for over 5 years. I made an appointment for noon on a Friday for my first appointment. In the beginning, the experience was not too bad. I knew I had a lot of issues and was expecting a long day so I took the entire day off of work expecting to at least have the painful tooth taken care of. I had X-rays done and then had to sit and wait for the dentist to come in. When she did, she examined me and said she recommended I see the Prosthodontist for a consult due to the condition of my teeth and damage done by my removable partials. She felt that, due to the state of my teeth and damage being done by my removable partials, I may be a better candidate for implants or dentures. I reminded her that I had pain in one particular tooth and, at first, she said there was no decay but then, upon looking further, she said it would need either a root canal or extraction but she wanted me to meet with the specialist first rather than waste money on a tooth that may be removed anyway. I told her that I wanted something done about the pain and she said, "Keep taking the pain meds until a decision is made". I understood the reasoning as it made no sense to spend the money on a root canal if the tooth was going to be pulled for implants anyway. I was then told, at 1 p.m., that I was going to have a cleaning but the hygenist and Prosthodontist were both out to lunch and I needed to return at 2 p.m. for the cleaning and consult. I returned at 2 p.m. and the front desk had no idea why I had returned. I explained that I was told to return to see the hygenist and specialist and that is when everything went downhill. The receptionist told me that the Prosthodontist was not onsite and only worked there 1 day a month and that day was March 7. I let her know, again, that I was told to return for the consult and what was the point of my returning if the dentist wasn't going to fix the problem and the specialist was not even there. She just kept repeating that the specialist was not there except for 1 day a month and that date was already booked up. She did say she could email the x-rays but the doctor would want to know what I wanted done. I told her that the whole point of the consult is to make an informed decision on the best course of treatment. In the end, I canceled the cleaning. I had wasted an entire day off of work to have absolutely no resolution on my painful tooth. The dentist wanted to wait for the consult with the specialist but didn't tell me anything about it being a month away, or more. To make matters worse, the website gives the idea that they have implant specialists on site and that it is all done there when, in reality, that person only comes in one time a month. For those of us with F/T jobs, it's not as easy as they think to just change a work schedule at the drop of a hat. I now have to start over, contact a Prosthodontist, and waste more time from work. read more

KEEP YOUR KIDS AWAY. They try and scam you into having unnecessary procedures done and take tons of xrays on infants, which is extremely harmful. They said my daughter had multiple cavities and that she needed to have her FRONT tooth REMOVED because of a "cavity", which was not visible to me at all (there were no cavities visible to me but they insisted they were there), and they said she'd need to have a fake tooth implanted, along with bone-grafting. They said i wasnt allowed to be present during the procedure, and that she'd need to wear a diaper because she'd probably soil herself. She was 2 years old. They wanted me to bring her in the next day for the procedure. I left the dentist's office balling my eyes out and called my older sister who was a dental assistant for many years explaining the situation. I felt like a terrible mother and was so scared for my baby. She told me to find a private practice dentist to get a second opinion from because what i was told didn't sound right at all. She also explained that the bigger name places are known for scamming Medicaid patients because they assume they don't know any better (I was a Medicaid patient at the time btw). WELL, I got a second opinion and it turned out she had ZERO cavities. ZERO. The new private practice dentist was appalled that they did so many xrays and that I had been lied to regarding the cavities. He also explained that under no circumstances would a 2 year old need an implant. He honestly looked like he was going to cry while explaining how unethical Rodeo Dental had been and apologized that both my daughter and I were treated that way. He said he'd heard of these types of horror stories. I later called Rodeo Dental requesting my daughter's dental records and xrays because i wanted to report them to the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners but they refused to give them to me. They said they "couldn't find them". She's now 8 years old and is still cavity free. You know all the fancy playground equipment and stuff they have at Rodeo Dental? Well that's how they pay for it- scamming. It makes me sad to think of the unnecessary procedures that have been done on kids. Keep your babies away from this place. read more

Let me start by saying, I've been attending this Location a few years now for both my kids. I do love and appreciate the amenities they offer for children's entertainment, but I did not appreciate the time I wasted on my child last appointment. Our appointment was at 9am, we arrived 30 minutes early as suggested, unfortunately I don't have anyone else to help me with his siblings so I end up taking with me.. I wasn't expecting to have to wait more than 2 or 3 hours just to be seen(evaluated). I never got to see the Dentist. I left after waiting For more than an hour, I called and decided to speak to someone in regards to this disappointing experience. Spoked to Daisy who basically confirm that I was still waiting for about 3 to 4 other patients infront of me. So, basically the wait time to get seeing would of been 3.5 hours and another 2 hours for procedure. I totally get that this process with children should not be rushed, I just don't appreciate having to wait 3.5 hours just to be seeing... I mean are they over booking the appointments..? Or just Not organized properly with Time management?. I end up leaving the location I'm not upset at the Dr.(dentist) he did called me and went over the procedure, I just think the appointments shouldn't be Over lapping and the front staff needs better customer skills, communication and sense of empathy. read more

My 10 year old son had an appointment on 11/5/2020. Once again we waited and waited as if there weren't what seemed like 20 assistants and hygienist floating through the building. We were called back for X-rays and as the young woman was asked to approached to help with another X-ray. So a new technician took over, then the original came back to explain that the new technician didn't need to start from the beginning. This seemed to aggravate the technician as she was still taking X-rays and entering data. Then we were sent back to the lobby, called into a room 15 minutes later. After sitting in the room for 15 minutes, I approached the desk and asked what was taking so long. Then a (different from the previous 2) young woman came into our room and sat a the computer enter data. This really frustrated me because the screen wasn't even showing my son's information. It was as if they just sent someone in the room in hopes to keep me at ease. At that point I ask the front desk person to cancel my appointment and make sure that my insurance wasn't charged. We left just over an hour past the appointment time. Go to Rodeo Dental if you prefer quantity over quality otherwise take your money where you are appreciated. That following Tuesday we went to a new dentist, there weren't any toys in the waiting area and there were not what seemed like 20 staff members floating through the office but this time we were out in less than an hour. The experience was extremely personal and professional. My 10 year old even realize the huge difference and prefers his mew dentist, whom will be our family dentist going forward. read more

Went to this establishment this morning for a price comparison with a quote from another dental practice. The front desk clerk was very rude and refused to look at the quote with the paperwork of all the procedures that were on it. I ask if I could speak to someone in charge and she rudely gave me a card and stated that she would have someone call me. The sad part is, is that I'm about to pay 13k on dental treatments without insurance so they would have had a client who pays without insurance but they hire folks who have 0 customer service skills and now they've lost 10s of thousands of dollars. Customer service starts from the moment you make contact with the client for the first time. If you hire front office folks in your practice that have bad attitudes towards customers then you loose money every time. read more

Two stars, and the only reason is due to the activities for kids in the waiting room. We experienced a number of issues at our 4 yr olds first appt. First, the techs gave up on x rays at the first sign of my son gagging. Second, an exam wasn't really performed, hell, they didn't even claim the exam through insurance. Third, the dentist identified 5 cavities that needed a procedure with General anesthesia in which we couldn't be in the room. Fourth, we were never told we weren't seeing a pediatric dentist until it came up at the end, apparently the pediatric dentist only comes in on Thursdays. A lot about the appt didn't seem right, we went and got a second opinion. At the other dentist (Molar Bear), x-rays were completed quickly, exam focused on talking to and keeping my son comfortable. Also, the dentist indicated he had ZERO cavities. Overall, significantly better experience. I am not saying Rodeo Dental had attempted anything unethical, but it is a concern knowing that many times new patients can be taken advantage of, and many times it's in the form of unnecessary treatment/procedure. It's frustrating that a place that seems to advertise toward pediatric dentistry, and has a waiting room filled with kids activities, but only has a pediatric dentist come in on Thursday, and spent more time talking to my wife as opposed to my son. They always call to cancel my appointments, specially if I get an appointment on Saturday, and they don't to give you a day that works for me. So normally I have to miss a day at work to be able to be seen, and sometimes they cancel on weekdays too. I always arrive at least 15 minutes early but they call me atleast 30 minutes late. I wish I haven't paid cash for my braces, because I would love to change to another clinic, but I paid cash and been getting my treatment for about 12 months already . I had a lot of anxiety taking my 2 year old to the dentist, he barely let's me look in his mouth or brush his teeth. I couldn't have picked a better dentist office because everyone at rodeo dental was fantastic. My son loved the facility, they had paw partol on during the exam which made him more relaxed and he actually let them clean his teeth. All of the staff were super sweet and great with kids. For general care and checkups, this place is great. We've been going here for a year now and my boys love going to the dentist. Why 3 stars? If you need any additional work that requires the pediatric dentist (not a routine checkup), you have to wait till that dentist is scheduled to be in the office. Seems like no big deal, right? Except now you have to rush over there the morning of and get your name on the wait list when they open at 7:45. Then you will be seen in order of arrival, not a set appointment time. I don't pay as much as I do for dental insurance and then be herded like cattle to wait for treatment for my son. I really enjoyed Rodeo Dental but have now moved my sons to a different practice. One that schedules actual appointment times for treatment. So if you are just needing routine checkups for your kids, this is a great place. But if you need work that requires the pediatric dentist? Be prepared to wait in line. Maybe some people are ok with this, but I'm not. It wasn't the suggested treatment plan that I had a problem with, but the actual process for getting it done. read more

After the treatment, they are persistent on telling you to give them a good review. Now, more than a month later - my teeth are still super sensitive from the filling treatment. I cannot chew or consume cold or warm liquids. I called back about the issue and I've been put on hold multiple times. After being scheduled for 9 am, I realized they don't open until 10. I'm trying to call back to confirm my appointment, but they keep hanging up on me. They've hung up on me about 3 times now. This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. This is the worst place you can go to. Let me start off by saying I was on hold for 15 min the receptionist I was talking to Gad loud music and obviously she couldn't hear me. I asked her what my copay would be and she said she wouldn't know since my appointment is at the beginning of a new month ?? I ask her what's my copay going to be to remove them she tells me without even asking me my insurance it will be 300 or 500 with retainers??? I told her is that with insurance? She's like yes because we have to call your insurance and depending on what they say we'll go from there ?? So meaning she wasn't sure I told her your not sure then ? No ma'am i am not ??? Then I ask her if they take payment plans to remove the brackets in the back. She said nonchalant "no the doctor can't do anything it's company policy" I asked her ok can I talk to your manager "no she's in a meeting" I told her ok so if one of the brackets is bothering me and you guys don't want to help should I just go to the emergency room ? The way she responded to me I will never recommend this place to no one ever!!! She said well I don't think their going to be able to help you!
