When I scheduled, I clearly stated that we only wanted regular cleanings and was told that could be done at our 8 a.m. appointment, with instructions to arrive at 7:45. We arrived early and waited until 8 a.m. before anyone greeted us. The visit started off well the hygienist took x-rays, blood pressure, and saliva tests, which made it seem like they genuinely cared about our health. Unfortunately, things went downhill quickly. After nearly an hour, we still hadn't received a cleaning. Instead, the dentist told me I needed a deep cleaning and crowns. I explained that I'd review those options later but just wanted the standard cleaning I came for, especially since my previous dentist said crowns might be needed eventually but not anytime soon. The office manager, Andrew, then came in to review treatment plans and coverage, but the conversation felt more like a sales pitch. Despite me repeating that I only wanted a basic cleaning, he continued to push the deep cleaning and crowns, ending with, "Okay, we'll just need a signature." At that point, it felt dishonest and pushy. We left without getting a cleaning and won't be returning. Patients should be told upfront if the first appointment is only a consultation and not an actual cleaning and be allowed to decide for themselves if they want additional procedures. Recommendations should remain just that -- suggestions.

Getting rid of your entire dishonest and thief of a dentist and Pratice!!!!!…read more The Dentist is the worst we have encountered and biggest scammer. She purposely pulled My husband's two teeth instead of one, and gave him an estimate before completing work she never did. She even purposely pulled out even an extra tooth and gave him a price including two implants just to max out his credit line. She then turned around weeks later and said it never included the two implants even though she stated everything was included in the estimate and she pulled another tooth on purpose with no permission. She is now going to be reported to the state and all county and state ethics committees, the Dentistry Boards, and being sued for pain, suffering, and illegal practices and scamming patients for unnecessary dental work without their consent and never completed to complete fraud! She is about to loose everything for being a liar, fraud, and scammer. Not to mention fraudulent business practices and being the most untrustworthy and unethical dentist in Fort Bend County, Texas. I know she will get this and if she does she better get ready to lose her Dentist license to ever practice again. #yourefundorfixthis as promised or get ready to lose everything from being sued for pain and suffering, theft of services, and will be paying all attorney fees a lost wages. When she loses her practice and all her money, maybe these dishonest losers or learn to be honest and have integrity and do what they promise to stop conning people out of money and the insurance companies. She has by the end of the week, as we are getting our attorney already prepped to go for the TKO!

The entire staff was very helpful and cared about my past experiences. Though I assumed I was going to meet Dr. O however it was Doctor Hussain who checked me out and did my cleaning. The hygienist was very thorough, they cleaned her teeth and polish them. Even I, being her daughter, saw a difference between her teeth before the appointment and after the appointment. I am very impressed with the hygienist at this location. After getting her teeth cleaned, the dentist closed her fillings. My mom was very pleased with the work. She was so thankful that this office was not trying to sell her on things that she did not need to get done. While they did mention her need for a crown, they did not sell her on any ancillary charges or bogus treatments for her teeth. My mom hates going to the dentist. And she doesn't like the dental field because she feels that they're very pushy and the make up charges or work without very much proof. But she was so pleased with this dental office, she couldn't stop stop sharing her experience with me. she's looking forward to her next visit in six months.

Here it is November 16th and I'm still waiting on my dental file that I requested on October 2nd…read more It has been my experience everytime I've contacted Bellaire Modern Dental, I get one lie after the other lie that was told earlier. I also requested a refund that I paid for my file, and for them to keep the file!! I was informed that they would refund my money and send the file as a courtesy. Last week I was told that I would receive the file on Wednesday the 12th, it never came. I'm wondering if the doctor's are aware of how their practice is being ran. My next step I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau (BBS). LaVerne G.

"A Smile Stolen: My Journey Through a Nightmare of Unnecessary Dentistry and Betrayal"…read more I want to share my deeply frustrating experience with Dr. LT Johnson, Dr. Nisa Dadjoo, and Eva, the office manager at Bellaire Modern Dental. I came to this office with healthy teeth--my only concern was a failing bridge. Just one week before my consultation, I had a root canal on that bridge, actively preserving my natural teeth. Yet Dr. Johnson insisted that a full all-on-4 was my best option at $41,000. This medically unnecessary and poorly planned procedure has left me in constant discomfort and distress. My implants were improperly placed, with screws stacked on top of each other, and all eight were loose. No facial measurements were taken, leaving me with an unstable bite, speech problems, and yellow, brittle 3D-printed teeth that trap food and bacteria. Despite spending over $40,000 and making 30+ visits to Bellaire Modern Dental, I'm still waiting for a proper resolution--and now face an additional $60,000 to fix the damage. Let me be clear: every single person in that practice was aware of my situation, and not one person bothered to help me. Throughout this process, I was repeatedly gaslit--made to feel like I was overreacting or imagining the severity of the issues. Instead of taking responsibility, they tried to dismiss my concerns and deflect blame, even as the problems became undeniable. It became clear that they were more interested in securing a profitable, unnecessary procedure than in providing ethical, patient-centered care. The damage to my face is undeniable. My once natural, symmetrical features have been compromised. The lack of proper measurements left my facial structure sunken and misaligned, affecting my appearance, confidence, and even how I'm perceived socially and professionally. On top of the physical devastation, my mental health has taken a brutal beating. I've suffered severe anxiety, depression, and a profound loss of self-confidence. I feel betrayed, diminished, and trapped in a nightmare I never imagined. This experience has shattered my trust in medical professionals and left me to pick up the pieces--physically, emotionally, and financially. Key measurements like BDO (Buccal-Dental Occlusion), VDO (Vertical Dimension of Occlusion), midline alignment, incisal edge position, lip support, and occlusal plane were ignored. These are critical to ensuring proper bite alignment, speech, chewing function, and overall facial aesthetics. Their neglect resulted in an unstable, damaging prosthetic outcome. Eva admitted their previous lab tech was "going rogue" and not following orders, yet no one held him accountable. They also failed to release my medical records or provide an itemized bill--both required by law--and mishandled insurance billing by failing to submit the necessary paperwork, leaving me responsible for the full cost. I walked into this practice as a healthy 46-year-old woman. I walked out with the mouth of an 80-year-old, my facial features disfigured, my mental health wrecked, and my trust shattered. This is not just bad dentistry--it's a complete failure of accountability, professionalism, and ethics, with devastating personal consequences. I have included a before picture from two days prior to surgery and current 3-D printed teeth. This review is based solely on my personal experience, and any opinions expressed are my own.

Dr. Cho is no longer the doctor here. It is Dr. Reza Memar since 2023…read more Honestly, I'm not used to needing anything beyond a regular cleaning. I visit the dentist every 6 months, brush 3 times a day, and floss twice daily. I don't bleed when I floss, so I was surprised when Dr. Memar said I needed scaling. I came in for the $79 new patient exam, X-ray, and cleaning offer, and since I'm diligent with my oral health, I wasn't prepared to pay $120 for scaling. My issue wasn't the recommendation itself, but how drastically Dr. Memar's demeanor changed once costs came up. During the exam, he said there was no bleeding--just slight inflammation--and offered to charge $20 more than the promo. But afterward, his attitude completely shifted. He became condescending, backtracked to say I was bleeding, and gave me a lecture about gum disease and insurance--even though I had already said I didn't have any. He even told me to come to the back so he could "show me the bleeding," which felt unnecessary and intimidating. The interaction was so uncomfortable that I ended up crying in the chair during my treatment because of how threatening, condescending, and rude he was. I felt completely disrespected and pressured into paying more than expected. Dental care is expensive, and not everyone can afford to spend $79 without receiving treatment. Otherwise, I would have gone elsewhere for a second opinion. I've never had a dentist speak to me that way before. Find an office that makes you feel safe and respected--unfortunately, this one did not.
