A month ago her cleaning crew was in our house and allegedly was told it was a rental unit by one of Damistique'a managers. They were instructed to remove all of our personal clothing and empty out our refrigerator and freezer. Upon returning to our home and realizing our loss, Chris did acknowledge that they did take our personal items out of the house. In fact, they did return some of the items but over $13,000 of our personal belongings have not been returned. I have filed a police report and to date Chris has not returned our attorney's outreach. I will be taking further action. This has been a such a violation of our personal home especially after working with them for two years and Chris acknowledging they did in fact remove our personal property.

They said they wouldn't cancel use "if we say we'll do a job, we actually do it." I said OK, just let me speak to the other company who would be coming to do a visual quote in 3 hours. I gave them my maximum budget, and they said they were OK with what I set. Forth bad sign: I called them back and said I would be willing to work with them. Then they said they would need to come visually inspect to give me a quote, which was weird, because they already agree to the price I set. Final bad sign was that they came to do the visual and barely stepped foot into my house. They looked disgusted, and like they had no intention of doing the job. One of the women said they would step outside to discuss, but I was already prepared for a NO. THEY DROVE OFF INSTEAD OF LETTING ME KNOW WHAT THEY DECIDED. I had to text them and ask "So, you drove away - I'm guessing that's a no?" They immediately messaged back, saying they wouldn't be doing the job. Long story short, they flip-flop, don't keep their word, waste your time, don't pay attention to detail and, in my opinion are dishonest. A simple no, was fully expect and would have been appreciated instead of the run around I got.

We were just moving into the house and had already brought over several car loads full of items. When we came back home after the cleaners were done, to our utter shock, our entire house was empty. The cleaners had taken everything...framed family photos, computers, speakers, jewelry, flowers, food...the house was empty. Even though we had only told them to clean the kitchen and the bathrooms, they had proceeded to remove everything from the house. They never called or texted to ask for clarification if they were confused about what to take. When we called the company to tell them that all our belongings were missing, they initially denied taking anything, but we luckily have cameras all over the house and had footage of them taking everything. They eventually admitted that they did take all of our stuff but said it was a mistake. They brought most of our possessions back in black garbage bags, but we still had items missing, including brand new housewarming orchids that were thrown in the trash and food from the fridge. Notably, we had an expensive speaker missing, and we witnessed one of the cleaners actually taking the speaker out from her purse when confronted by police in our home. We are still missing a very expensive ring that was on the counter when the cleaners were there, but was gone, just like everything else, when we returned. The ring was never returned to us. My experience with one of the managers or owners (Scott Whittle) of the company about this entire situation has been extremely unnerving to me. He has accused me of extortion, when I simply said that I intend to press charges if the ring is not recovered. That is not extortion; I have a right to press charges if my property was taken without my permission. He also suggested that his employees wanted to confront me at my place of work but that he advised them to "act professionally." I'm honestly worried about my safety at this point. And the most bizarre thing happened; he accused me of racism out of absolutely no where. No customer should feel this way after hiring a cleaning company to clean their home, and then coming to an empty home with all of your belongings missing.
