Owner accepted it without saying anything . after the massage was done and getting ready to dress up the owner who gave me massage forced me to give her tip i said i dont have cash with me and i didnt bring my card with me its in my car and she was trying to argue about the tip i said i called yesterday for the price of the massage and someone on the phone said $70 for 1hr massage thats it and the laat time i was here all i paid was $70 for an hour. She was like no no hold on let me take a picture of you. I said ill give you atleast $5 since i have cash in my car. She insisted that i might escape and told me ok go get your money and give me your phone so i will hold it . she might think that i would escape. I said no! she was bickering with me, she gave up and said ok leave your shirt or your shoes i was like no wtf. She was literally holding me inside her business store until i give tip. I told her will you come out with me so i can give you the tip? Then she finally agrees. She forcefully open the passenger side door (which i didnt tell her to do that) to check if i have alot of cash in my wallet and saw $50 she yelled : that! Give me that $50 i said no why would i? We were arguing in my car for maybe 3mins And later on she shut my passenger side door and walked away retreating with $5 . They are clearly violating standard business practice. Tip is not mandatory. She might do something bad if i comeback again or ban me. Lol aint no way no more massages. people are greedy with the tip thing. I dont even expect tip or ask tip when i do doordash ubereats. People nowadays only live with just begging for tips

1 Star - Very uncomfortable tipping experience…read more I have been a regular customer at this massage place and usually visit about twice a month. As someone who also works in the service industry, I understand how important tips are and I always tip fairly depending on the quality of service. In the past I have tipped anywhere between $15-$25. However, my most recent visit was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. I booked a 90-minute massage that cost $115 after tax. When it came time to pay, I intended to leave a $20 tip, which would bring my total to $135. The payment machine actually showed multiple tip options including $20. However, the staff refused to allow me to select the $20 option. They insisted that the tip must be 30% or more, and pointed to a small note on the table that said 30% gratuity is "appreciated." They then attempted to add $30 to my bill without my agreement. This is very concerning for several reasons: * The 30% tip was never disclosed before the service started * It was not listed on the official menu or pricing * The payment machine still shows optional tip amounts but customers are not allowed to choose them * Staff attempted to force a higher tip after the service was already completed A gratuity is supposed to be voluntary unless a business clearly lists a mandatory service charge before the service begins. Posting a small note on the table and then pressuring customers at the payment terminal is not transparent and creates a very uncomfortable situation. As a loyal customer who has supported this business many times, I felt extremely disappointed by how this was handled. If a business wants to require a 30% service charge, it should clearly state that on the menu and inform customers before the service -- not pressure them at the register after the service is finished. Customers should be aware of this policy before visiting.

It's a step above the average Asian massage parlor; it's got a clean, fantastic setup and vibe. As the name suggests they use hot stones as part of the $60 1 hour massage which is a nice feature. I see all the 1 star reviews very concerned about tipping. I don't think people should tell you how to tip, but I also feel like these workers earn their suggested 30% or whatever is posted. I was so thankful that I was able to call at 7pm asking if they can get me in at 8pm and without hesitation I got a "yes". The only reason I knock a star is because at the beginning of the massage I asked if he could work on my back and arms a little extra but due to language barrier he did not understand - my back was worked on very well but felt like I did not get what I wanted out of my arms. Unfortunately, today will be the last day that my boyfriend and I will be there. I'm unsure if who I had was new but the receptionist seemed to be my masseuse. She left the room 8 times during my 60 min. massage and when she got back to the room the second time, she had pressure on my calves and held it there and while doing that, I felt her other hand texting!!! Not only that, she asked me if I wanted medium or hard at the beginning of the massage and I asked medium. When I tell you that was no where close to what I wanted and was waiting to speak up to request her to go softer, she ups and leaves the room again to check people in or whatever she was doing. The massage felt rushed, rough and borderline disrespectful. I felt like a dirty laundry pile every time she moved my body to a certain area or threw the sheet back on to cover a part of my body. She didn't even ask if the hot stone was ok and she actually rubbed it on my back for less than 20 seconds rushing it through. THEN, when I laid on my back- she was so rough that the sheet kept on moving further and further down that my left nipple was almost exposed and she didn't even fix it!! All she said was, "all done. Thank you" and I fixed myself before she opened the door. She was like a person who is too good or have done this for too long that she got complacent and didn't care what was happening to the client. The best part? She kept asking for cash for discount which is fine and I told her I'm waiting for my boyfriend since he'll be paying. I didn't know my boyfriend went to the car to get cash but he told me he told her and she didn't explain anything and kept telling me to sit down to wait and the way she gestured it was like there was no trust. I told my boyfriend to tip $10 each (we usually tip $20 each) and when he handed her the $20 cash for 2 masseuse, she said "that's it? For 2 people?" Yes lol. What do you expect? Oh, and my boyfriend didn't even get hot stone. @Lomi Lomi- Every time we went here, we didn't mind the noises from people coming in or by neighboring stores. I'm unsure who this person is, but this needs to be fixed. The treatment, lack of etiquette, atmosphere and everything else was by far the worst experience we've ever had. What should be a peaceful and relaxing massage, was actually the most stressful and painful massage I've ever endured. Please train your staff better.

I had tweaked my back and hip and wanted a deep tissue massage to break it down. The woman who greeted me was in plain clothes, jeans and tee shirt. Told me to undress and lay on the table. The woman came in to give me massage, I told her I wanted it hard and asked if she could shiatsu and she said yes. She could not do hard and was very awkward while walking on my back. After about 20 minutes she asked me to turn over, which seemed very soon but when I did, she was a different woman, in a night gown like thing so I thanked her, got dressed and got out of there. It was a bummer because there really are very good massages available at many of these hole in the wall places. Especially if they do not greet you in a mini skirt so for a bit, I had hope. For me, this was not one of them.
