Was looking for a jumper rental for my son's birthday found them online. Their websites great easy to use I was able to find the jumper I needed it gave me the measurements and everything that I needed to know to make sure that I had sufficient space. I was able to book the jumper online and completely pay for it as well. The jumper arrived on time the gentleman set it up just as I wanted it everything was smooth. At the end of the night the scheduled pickup they were a little behind schedule but the gentleman still came and picked it up everything went great. Sad that I have to write this. I have rented from the before and though costumer loyalty would be something they care about. I ordered a bouncy for my daughters body 10/19/18. The delivery guy was nice but broke my light fixture in the backyard and twice left my garage bins outside on the driveway and didn't tell me. Is they were there for my guests to see as they came in. I NEVER complained. Then we rented a bouncy for our community party( 10/26/18) ( which was advertised as the main event). They said it was too big but when I requested an additional bouncy, they said they would bring it . They never did ! All kids had to stop using it half way thru the party. I have them many chances to fix it but at the they end they said only a half rental refund. And they didn't seem to care that they were going to use two accounts. They can argue as much as they like, there are Many rentals out there and we are going to go to the others who care about costumer service. read more

The jumper was great, very nice and clean. The process of receiving it was not. I had my jumper reserved for 1230pm, an hour and a half before the party start time. I confirmed my order the day before so I didn't think I would have any issues. At 12:45, the jumper hadn't arrived so I called just to make sure it was on its way. I called and the guy said the driver was 15 minutes away. No problem, this is why I reserved it early. At 1:30, they still hadn't arrived. Now it's an hour late and very close to start time. We called again and they said the truck was having issues and they didn't know when it'd be here. Not only was that disappointing, it was disappointing that they didn't call us to update us on what was going on. If you're supposed to be somewhere at a certain time and it's not happening, it's respectful to notify the person of what was happening. The jumper didn't get their until after 2, my guests had already arrived for the party and it was disappointing to not be fully set up. Don't think i'll be returning back as a customer read more

Fantastic service today from Magic Jump Rentals. I called and ordered by phone a few weeks ago. Never had any problems getting a hold of anyone and was called the day before to confirm my order. I was suppose to have my bounce house from 2-7pm. But the guys called me early because they were in the neighborhood. Which was great for us and my daughter got lots of alone time in the jumper before the mass of children arrived. They asked if it would be OK to pick up a little later than 7pm which was totally fine with us. All in all, we ended up having the jumper from 11:30am-8:30pm. They were very fast and efficient, really nice guys, and the whole process was super easy. We will definitely be calling you again for our party next year. Heck, for the price, we may call you anytime we have a BBQ of any kind. read more

This review is for the services received this summer from this company. I work at a recreation center and we used this company a total of 4 times in the past 8 weeks for a summer camp program. This 2 star review is for the service (or lack there of) we received on 8/5/16. They were supposed to be here first thing in the morning & when they didn't show we called to see what was up. They told us they cancelled our order because there wasn't an address confirmation. HUH??? You were sent an email confirmation at the beginning of the week, never were we told that you did not have an address on file. But better yet, you were just here like 2 weeks ago AND you came here 2 other times within the past 8 weeks. How do you not have an address when you've already been paid via purchase order several times WITH THE ADDRESS ON IT! All of this to say that this company is going to miss out on a lot of business since we rent jumpers throughout the year for various occasions and events. So sad... read more

Poor and unsafe customer service. The jumper was dropped off at the house and they did not secure it. They secured a large obstacle course jumper onto a small rock and an unsteady fence without asking me. They brought the stakes but decided not to use them and left. They said they had to leave and had another drop of. I had to call the office and had them return so that they can secure it properly. Apparently they did not care about child safety and were in a rush getting their deliveries done. The obstacle course was also dirty and we had to quickly clean it before the party. The fact that this company is denying that all these things did in fact go wrong is just ridiculous. They should just own the fact that on this day they obviously screwed up...big time! A 300.00 dollar (which we spent hours during our event fighting for) discount for so much headache is totally NOT sufficient if you ask me. That they don't take ownership for their mistakes speaks volumes!!! BUYER BEWARE!! I'm not going to get into a pissing contest here. We took pictures through out the entire event. I'd be happy to post them too! The Fire and Ice had no water coming down it. It wasn't even hooked up. Your guys (that I paid to be there) had to spray water from the hose at the children as they came down it. Of the 3 hours and 15 minutes (I paid for 4 hours!) that the foam pit was operating I'd say maybe a total of an hour and a half of that time was it even partially filled with foam. Most of the time there were just suds on the bottom which the kids slid on. I'll say it again. We will never use your company again. Neither will the 40 guest that we had at our event. This is no way to run a business. When you screw up...Own it!! DON'T LIE ABOUT IT!!! read more

To start, the guys arrived 45 minutes late with the jumper (which was dirty) and then they didn't know how to set it up in my backyard. We had also rented tables and kids tables with bizarre linens that nobody (including the guys from Magic) knew how to set up. As guests arrived we were still struggling with all of it. I called to demand a credit and was told that they would credit the linen charge along with the $35 coupon I applied to my online order. We rented a mechanical bull and tables and chairs for a school party and our experience with Magic Jump could not have been any better. The bull was in great shape and a huge hit, and the tables and chairs were new and nice and clean. Art, the attendant who delivered everything and also operated the bull for the party arrived on time, and could not have been nicer to everyone at the party. He worked throughout the entire party and was at all times a pleasure, and then helped clean everything up afterwards. A wonderful experience! read more

I used Magic Jump Rentals recently for my soon-to-be stepdaughter's 4th birthday. We ordered the regular style bouncer, but with a princess castle motif. The guy showed up promptly at 12 when we requested it, set it up in literally 5 min, and he was very polite. The bouncer was clean, and looked nearly brand new. The kids loved it and it was the perfect size for my front yard. I asked for it to be picked up at 7, the guy didn't show up until 8, but it actually worked out perfect because it gave the birthday girl and her cousin extra time to jump in the bouncer by themselves. I love that they have A LOT of things to choose from on their website, and they even tell you how much of something is available (even with ordering 4 days before the event, they had exactly what I needed)... Easy to navigate and order online. They send you a confirmation email with a lot of great info, include safety checklist and FAQ's. Very professional, and most importantly, a stress free process. I will definitely use their services again! read more

I've rented from Magic Jump three times. I'm very happy with the price and they always answer the phone. Their delivery/pick-up people are very nice and work quickly. Jumpers are clean and in good condition. I've had a couple of issues on timing. The jumper was 45 minutes late once, but they do tell you to schedule delivery at least 1 hour before the party starts, so I did that and we were fine. They were 2 hours late picking it up once, which would have been annoying if we needed to leave the house that night. On the flip side, one time they delivered it a day early because they had too many deliveries the morning we needed it, so we got an extra day of fun! I do think the price is worth it. I can understand that they can't be exactly on time when they have several jumpers to deliver and pick up. Just need to plan for it... read more

Only giving a one star because there is no option for ZERO stars. Ordered a dunk contest jumper last Saturday. The description on their website said recommended for ages 8- adult. I ordered it for my sons 10th birthday. They set up the jumper and left, then i noticed that the hoop was way too high. None of the adult at the party let alone the kids were able to dunk on it. No adult under 7ft could have reached it. I payed more than $200 for this jumper and it was useless. When I emailed them the following Monday it took them more than a day to reply. Diane finally replied and told me that there was nothing they could do about because they tested out the jumper and there was nothing wrong with the jumper. She said that "The only thing we can think of is that maybe the kids didn't know how to use???" She offered me a 20% discount on my next order. She then finishes the email by saying "Please let me know if this works so I can process the refund. " I reply asking what refund since they said there was nothing they could do about it. I am still waiting for a response. That was 3 days ago. read more

I'm actually disappointed to have to give this company a low rating. We have been return customers for 4 years, using Magic Jump for all of our kids birthday parties and were always pleased up until this last rental in April for my daughter's birthday party. I was slightly later than I usually am in booking the bounce house, tables and chairs we always rent. The company does allow you to edit your order (I had done it before with no issue) to add or change the amount of tables and chairs you need. I requested a couple more children's tables and a few more chairs. I was rudely told by two different employees that they had "no more children's tables" that day. Being low on inventory is one thing and it's understandable that I may not get the extras I needed because of the relatively late rental (2 weeks in advance instead of a month) but if a company is out of decent, clean inventory then they SHOULD NOT rent out the bottom of the barrel stock they have on hand! What was delivered was dirty, sticky, dented, disgusting tables, dirty chairs and during set up we discovered a few completely broken seats on the children's chairs which of course could not be used. They were tucked away in the stack of chairs that were delivered and while I counted to make sure all were there I didn't have time to thoroughly inspect each one. There was no time to call and ask for replacements or a refund - the party was starting soon and we had a big set up to do. Fortunately all the tables were to be covered in our table cloths anyway but seriously, they were disgusting. The bounce house however was clean and super cute and the kids had a blast. The delivery and set up person was very nice, polite and on time. I have no issues with him or any of their delivery people on any of our past rentals. Since we were repeat customers for several years I was hoping for a couple of things: 1. An apology from the company after I brought it to their attention in a rather kind email without turning to Yelp first and giving a negative review. 2. An offer of a discount on a future rental perhaps. 3. Or a partial refund on the filthy tables and broken chairs 4. Any acknowledgement at all of my concerns or complaints. I got none of the above. I am planning another party right now and am looking elsewhere for my bounce house needs. Don't we all have bounce house needs? :) If I was a first time customer this would've been a 1 star review. If Magic Jump Rentals had even at least RESPONDED to my email this review would be a rave instead. UPDATE as of 8/15/16 The owner of Magic Jump immediately contacted me after reading my review. He apologized profusely and said he never saw my initial email on their site (was not forwarded to him) and sent a full refund for the tables and chairs we rented back in April plus a discount on a future rental. He clearly takes pride in his company and I appreciated the quick response. I would rent from them again but we just moved out of California. read more

We rented a bounce house from Magic Jump for my son's birthday party. They were awesome! One or two days before, we decided to add on some tables, chairs, and a couple of carnival games. It was no problem at all. They called in advance to confirm the order and the time. The day of, the guys arrived early, set up the equipment and left. They were very unobtrusive. They came after the pick up time and did not bother us at all. They packed up the equipment and left quietly. It was so great. We loved having the extra hours with the bounce house. Everything was clean, in perfect condition and delivered exactly when I requested. The two delivery men were polite, helpful and very efficient. I needed to change my order 3 times right up until the day before the party and Magic Jump accommodated my requests with no problem. Great, friendly, smart customer service. They called to confirm the day before and sent confirmation email with all details every time I made a change. I was so nervous about finding a company I could trust to rent an inflatable water slide for my son's birthday. Organising a kids party is already stressful. I looked up companies with good yelp reviews and finally stumbled across Magic Jump rentals. On the day of the party it was chilly and raining in LA, bad luck! We called the company to see if we could postpone for the following Sunday. Not only did they say 'no problem' but there was no penalty! We were impressed! The following weekend we discovered that the Aids walk would close off the roads around our house. We called the company to let them know and they simply delivered the slide the day before, again, no problems. The delivery, installation and pick up went off without a hitch. The drivers were polite and helpful. The slide was a hit with the kids and everybody had a great time. Thank you fellow yelpers! This company is a winner! Magic jumper rentals were amazing!! They have amazing service. I had ordered a dunk tank, and 3 jumpers for my event on May 2014. Their website is so easy to navigate and so convenient. I had called the company several times and every time I called, they were always professional and answered all of my questions. On the day of the event, they came on time and the jumpers were clean. i had hired one attendant from the company and he was amazing. He had not only put up the jumpers with plenty of time to spare, but he was also quite entertaining and very helpful towards my guests. They provided a fantastic service - due to the size of the party and the amount of production we required much more from the team ahead of the event which they were happy to assist with. We used Magic Jump Rentals this weekend for a Pink Unicorn jumper. We ordered it online, and the website was very easy to use. We paid for the whole thing upfront (even though we'd never used them before) but the email confirmation was instant. They sent us another one a few days before our event, but other than that we spoke to no one. WHICH WAS FINE. Sometimes, you know, over efficiency is irritating. The delivery was on time (actually our delivery guy showed up about 2 hours early) and he was very friendly, courteous and efficient. We had requested 10pm pick up time even though the only option online was 9pm, and he came at about 11pm which was brilliant! He was extremely nice, have I said that already? But to me that is the main thing. We would definitely use these guys again. read more
