Sure, they did try to upsell me on some overpriced packages, but hey, I don't live near there, so it wasn't really an issue for me. And let's be honest, who doesn't love a good upsell pitch? I mean, it's not like I have anything better to do than listen to a salesperson try to convince me to spend more money on something I don't really need, right? Anyway, back to the car wash. The facility was top-notch, with everything looking sterile and sparkly clean. It was like walking into a spaceship, except instead of aliens, there were detailers on the left side of the exit, vacuuming and drying people's cars. These guys were good... But wait, there's more! As I was about to drive off into the sunset, I noticed that they also had a towel drying service. Naturally, I had to check it out. And was I impressed. The guy working there was like a ninja with a towel, wiping down my van faster than a bad child trying to win over his mother on Mother's Day. I was so impressed that I threw in a $2 tip. I mean, if you can make my car look that good, you deserve a little extra cash, am I right? Now, there is one downside to Rocket Car Wash. They don't have self-serving vacuums. I know, I know, it's a tragedy. But honestly, the rest of the experience was so great that I didn't even care. Plus, it's always nice to have an excuse to buy a new vacuum, right? In conclusion, I would highly recommend Rocket Car Wash to anyone who needs a good scrubbing. And if you happen to see Bob Dole there he is dead, but I saw a dude who looked like him so tell him I said hi. If you happen to see any feeble Russians trying to take over the world, well, tell them they are at Rocket Carwash, and not a Nuclear silo. Wouldn't be surprised given they forget little things like that. Maybe just give them a good wash and send them on their way, maybe they will forget WW3 might happen. Another time all I ordered was a hot dog with basic toppings (ketchup, mustard and relish). I was the only car in the line and it still took almost ten minutes. Overall, I really like Sheetz, the quality of the food and overall friendliness of the staff, but this location seems to need help organizing their MTO process.

I had to use cleaning products and spent nearly an hour to get the dried spots off. They currently aren't keeping up with their filter replacements. SUCKS I will wait a month or so and try again. By no means am I car wash type of guy... you know... the people that buy a subscription and go get…read morea weekly wash... but after a salty couple weeks, ITS TIME. We were down on this side of town and had some time to burn, so... enter ModWash. The biggest reason for my low stars is the corporate decision to have a human at the kiosk. Why spend so much money on a UI and self-service kiosk... to have a worker waste my time and theirs to push the buttons for me AND to tap my credit card for me. I mean... I guess you get your free ModWash air freshener from them... but like... cmon... what a weird concept. The washes are also overpriced but that is just a ploy to have you signup for their monthly/yearly subscriptions. Wash did the job. Dryers dried. Car is clean.
