The vehicle pulled out and the green light came on. I put my money in for an $11.00 car wash (which would have included a pre-wash). Attendant was still inside spraying down the floor - ?? but the light outside of the wash AND the light inside was green, i.e. proceed, so I did. The attendant was acting weird so I stopped and he came over and started yelling at me "can't you see I am in here" etc. Then he backed up and took a picture of my license plate and left to go inside. I backed out of the wash bay and went inside and he came out, still screaming at me and then put a white ticket into the machine - apparently, to re-start the machine - and then told me "I have all I need, I have a picture of your license plate" and went inside. Not knowing what to do I drove in - following instructions as before, green lights, etc. No prewash just got washed and got the heck out of there! This man is deranged! If he is the owner - don't use this car wash. If he is an employee - he needs to be fired before he hurts someone! Girls - don't go alone. Luckily I had a friend with me.

Some are mirror images of one another, which I refer to as left hand stores and right hand stores, depending on which way you turn to approach the cash registers. This is a right hand store. When you go into the store, you'll get that feeling of Deja vu, which is exactly what the owners want you to feel. Karuba Coffee, Dunkers, doughnuts, and hot foods are straight back. Rest rooms are on the far end, take a leftt at the cooler. Lottery forms are back there, too, for processing at the registers. The no-fee ATMs are to your left as you enter the store. Out on the gas island, you'll find Unleaded Unleaded Premium, E-85, Unleaded 88, and Diesel #2. The store is 24/7. This is a nearly complete auto and truck plaza, there's a car wash, too! It's a complete convenience store with dairy products, sandwiches, coffee and soft drinks and almost anything you could need in the coolers, freezers and food gondolas. Like all Kwik Trips, the bakery all comes from La Crosse and it's pretty good. If you happen to drive an 18-wheeler, there is a huge fueling station and certified scale. It's easy in and easy out with no silly roundabouts to come through. You'll find Diesel #2, Premium Diesel, and Diesel Exhaust Fluid. It's everything you've come to expect in a Kwik Trip and a whole lot more. By the way, Kwik Star has the best chocolate milk in Iowa!

I had an issue with needing to hard brake to avoid an accident which resulted in a full to go cup of coffee ending up all over the dash, vents, and everywhere in between. Not only was there no sign of coffee at completion, but I honestly think the vehicle was cleaner than when I purchased it. I only paid for an interior detail, however they also washed my car and had it clean, dry, and ready for me when I arrived to pick it up. The little extra was very much appreciated and I went ahead and booked an additional appointment for detailing for my husband's car before leaving!

I got halfway home and realized my change, chap stick, and new pack of gum were gone. Nice. I went back to dealership to retrieve my personal possessions and was told "they were in the driver's side door" which was b.s. -- they were not. UPDATE: Scott Deetz from MC Ford called me within minutes of my review post to get me to change my online review. They don't want a bad review, he said, "because it's not fair." I told him what's not fair is having $10 worth of stuff stolen, being lied to, and now he wants to make ME the bad guy?? WTF! I told him he needed to talk with his staff, train them to better serve their customers, and eliminate the ones that steal. He wanted me to come BACK to the dealership to "discuss" my "scathing review." As if that will make it right. His request almost sounded like a call to the principal's office. lol. As if ANYONE in their right mind would go to that. So he kept talking...and talking...and talking. Never have I heard anyone talk more without saying ANYTHING than Scott Deetz. He certainly loves the sound of his own voice. Yet he offered NO RESOLUTION in the twelve minute conversation so I told him that and ended the call. He called back saying "he was sorry we were somehow disconnected" when he knew full well I terminated the call due to his poor resolution skills and ineffective leadership. He offered no apology, did not accept responsibility, and offered no resolution to the problem. I want NOTHING more to do with this dealership. Period. I definitely will not be back.

Then again, the day after I drove 90 miles out of town (after they rechecked everything again) . On my way back to Mason City, my engine blew up. Was not repairable at all!! I was stranded in the freezing cold weather/inside of my car with my 2 little girls to wait hours on end for a tow truck... My car was in great shape b4 we went there.. Thursday, Dec. 17 I called Cresswell Auto Repair inquiring about tires due to having a flat. I tell…read morehim that I have Cooper tires and give him the numbers he needed to have 2 ready for install the next day. The tires took only about a hour to replace and I paid and only noticed the amount due on receipt. On my way home, I looked at the receipt again and noticed that the words - Tiger Paw- were on the receipt and not Cooper, the brand that Craig and I had discussed on the phone the day before. I immediately called him and asked what happened. His excuse was - "I've never heard of Cooper Tires and I have no idea where I would even buy them." After over 10 years of going to Cresswell Auto Repair, I am done. I tell everyone about how honest he is and in reality he is a liar. I will never go back there. He deceived me and sold me tires that I did not ask for, after assuring that he would have the Cooper ones the next day.
