I was in Magic Nails about a week ago and received the worst no chip manicure I've ever had. From the beginning, my nails were filed down and the polish was scraped, leaving my nails horribly thin and peeling. The lady was clipping my skin when she was trying to clip my cuticles, leaving many of my fingers bleeding. When she was "done" painting, I had polish on almost every one of my fingers. I asked her to clean them up and still left with polish on my fingers around the nail. A few of them chipped within a day. I never leave reviews but this was truly the worst no chip manicure I've ever received. read more

I just had the absolute worst experience. They were rude & I don't know how many more times I had to repeat short & round. He had his headphones in, was acting as if he had somewhere more important to be, he was rushing the entire process. I wasn't in his chair 10 minutes & I had to walk out. My nails are so incredibly short & square?????? I've had my nails done plenty of times in my life & I've never had an experience like this in my life. I wish I could give 0 out of 5 stars. I am so angry. - FOLLOW UP!!! my little sister was getting her graduation nails done at the same time when I had walked out. She just came home & told me that as the man was doing her nails, he asking all kinds of questions about me, my age, about my unborn child, what my problem was, etc. Now, my little sister is not as outspoken as I am, she reluctantly paid for them, even when she noticed they were removing them wrong. I wish I could go back & get her money back for her. She came home with nail polish all over cuticles, a pretty bad cut that was bleeding, & the nails themselves were just plain awful. Terrible service. First time I went in they were busy and they rushed through and half assed my manicure and pedicure but I chalked it up to them being busy and decided to give them another chance. Went in to get acrylics and no chip manicure because I had friends tell me it was a deal for $25 for both. The only reason I got the acrylics in the first place btw. The jacked up my nails, applied the nails on crooked, got nail glue all over my hands, and by the time they actually got to the acrylics she was rushing through she didn't even cover the whole nail. The polish was half assed as well, it didn't fully cover the nail and looks like my nails grew out and I got the manicure a few days ago. Also it wasn't allowed to cure all the way so it is still squishy and one nail is rippled. Not happy. Also, then they charged me $45 instead of the $25. Never going back!!! read more

I did really enjoy how my nails looked. But they do not enforce customers to wear mask if the customer is a regular. (Idc if businesses enforce or not keep reading). But this lady who they called by name came in without a mask and then proceeded to hack all over the nail polish and into the hands she was about to get a mani on. Which is absolutely disgusting in the first place. But then without having her wash her hands let alone sanitize him the same gentleman who did mine and my mothers pedis immediately started on her nails without washing his hands after touching our feet. Then when we went to go put our shoes on he rushed over to do it for us, which is nice, but he then touched us after touching the dirty coughed on hands of the women he took care of WITHOUT sanitizing his own. Now me and my mother went here a lot, but I guess it only takes one mistake to loose loyal customers. The situation is gross in the first place, but with COVID being a major issue it's disgusting. Well... i've gone here a few times or maybe more than that. I went about three days ago and as soon as I sat down in the chair the man that was doing my nails started criticizing me over the color I had last time which was about four or five months ago, I had gotten a light baby blue color with short acrylic nails. He had stated that blue wasn't my color and blue looked ugly on me. I then told him that I wanted black and short acrylic nails, he had said that was not a good look but he did it anyway. As soon as I stepped foot out of that salon I noticed that one of my nails was crooked, so I walked in and I told him hey this is crooked do you think he can fix it instead of fixing it he filed it down which made it worse. Then as soon as I got home my nail had fallen off already, I then got really upset on how it didn't even last a singular day. So what I had did was I just left it until I was going to be free. I was doing some little chores around the house. I grabbed my broom and another nail had fallen off. To this very day right now all of my nails are gone and it hasn't even been three days. So no I would not recommend this facility for nails. read more

So people have said this place has gone downhill and I would have to agree with that statement. I came in nobody said anything to me for at least 2 minutes, not even looking up. There were 3 people working and if they are too busy just let me know. Dont have me soak my feet in cold water for over 25 minutes. But the Kicker...When the fire department came in and gave them a laundry list of violations as I sat uncomfortably in my chair. There was nowhere to go my nails where wet!? The man that runs the nail salon, did not say one thing to the fireman ,complete disrespect. He wouldn't even make eye contact with them. Then when they left he mumbled how they had no right to tell him how to run his buisness. The owner has become ruder and ruder with each visit. It very much upsets me I gave them a 5 star review before and was a loyal customer. I do not understand, but I do know this business will not continue to do well in this town if the customer service continues on this downward spiral. read more

Great little place, walked in and they got me right in, my nails we're a mess from a beach vacation and the lady meticulously cleaned and trimmed them. Really took her time and did a great job. It was very quiet and relaxing, it's nothing fancy but I will definitely come back here. Prices are totally reasonable and the staff were all very nice. read more

My daughter and I both wanted are nails done and were very unhappy with the out come. We walked in showed them a picture and asked if they could do it and said oh yes no problem turns out they can't and it looks terrible plus they cut me when using the filing block. Sorry but if you are a business that has hours posted to be open on Sunday until 5 then I would expect you to be open at 3:15 on a Sunday, not walking out the back door as I am walking up. It doesn't matter if no one is there and there are no appointments, most of your customers are walk-ins. Good way to lose loyal customers, as you have lost me. read more

I used to come here quite a bit, the service has just gotten worse and worse. They rush through your pedicure, no matter how many times you ask them to get the right temp its either freezing cold or spiking hot, and I love it hot it's too hot for me. I've officially given up on these guys. They way over charged my MIL for just a clear coat manicure, (with pedicure $5, they charged her 25$). It's not what it used to be. read more

I would always come to this nail salon because the location was convenient and at the time I would only go to get my nails done for dances and such, but oh boy was I wasting my money. Magic nails will no longer have my business due to their rude/disrespectful staff, and for butchering my $25 manicures. If you choose to open and run a business you should treat every paying customer with the same respect. Despite age, ethnicity, or what car they pull up in. I also found the wait to be ridiculously long, unless the place was close to empty. The staff was usually being unprofessional and lounging around on their phones. I tried this salon twice, and both times left it very disappointed. I would never come back here again. The first time I had a pedicure, but the water was lukewarm at best and the woman rushed through it. The second time I had a manicure that ended up looking very sloppy. My biggest complaint with this business, however, is how rude the employees are. They talk to each other constantly in another language, sometimes looking at the clients and laughing. i just don't understand. not only are they way under staffed but they rush through everyone. whatever the guys name is gave me a full set which i was hesitant on because it's not what i wanted but why not. this is what i got. my daughters could have polished my nails better than this. and now i have to go on vacation with my nails that just look rushed and horrible. i watched him see this little spot in my ring finder and purposely didn't say anything to see what he would do about it and instead of taking the extra 2 seconds to wipe it off -i'm now stuck with this spot and my nails looking just horrible. $55 it cost me to do these nails and change my toe nail color which also is painted all over my skin. i gave them 3 chances even after not being impressed the first 2 times but i now see why they only have 2 stars. just disappointing that they don't take pride in their work and rush thru. it's all about money for them and it shows in their work. read more

I have given this business 3 chances. First visit I was with 2 other friends. We were all seated at the same time but I had to wait 10 minutes before I was taken care. That didn't bother me, what I didn't like is that my pedi was completed first. My one friend did have the razor used (at no additional cost) the other didn't so what was I not given. 10 minutes is a long time, I felt my server just rush through it. Second visit I was alone and this time asked for the razor to be used. I was charged an additional $5 which I questioned (remember my girlfriend didn't pay extra) and was told "no you need to pay $5 more." I believe this server just wanted an extra tip and pocketed the money. So on to visit #3, I know shame on me for going a third time. Just me and 1 other friend. Seated at the same time, I have to wait around 10 minutes again and again I'm done first. My friend had the razor used and her server says "no additional charge." Oh and I never did have the little toe dividers used for me although everyone in the place seemed to have them. I will never set foot in this place again. read more

I've always enjoyed coming to this salon, however I've had two bad experiences in one week. I came in to have a polish change and grabbed a polish that had a quarter left in the bottle. I should've known that the polish would be gooey. I hadn't noticed until after they were closed that my toes were not smooth, and in fact were very gooey. I came in the next day to have them redone and even offered to pay bc I didn't want them to think I was trying to cheat them out of a service. Three women came over to look at my toes and they all spoke to each other in their language. This is incredibly rude. The lady who fixed my nails kept comparing the new polish I picked out to the old. I clearly grabbed a full bottle of new polish to avoid this problem again. It was obvious they were talking about me. They didn't charge me to fix them which I greatly appreciate, but next time, keep the conversation to the back room and not in front of the client. I am no person to judge a nail salon but when it comes to my personal safety I don't joke around. I love magic nails and I have gone to it for years but just last week I went to get my nails done and instead of leaving with bright pink nails, I left with bright RED nails Bc of not nail polish... but blood. This isn't a horror movie it just a bad nail salon experience. That's right, you heard correctly, BLOOD! I was cut by the buffer machine so bad that I would not stop bleeding. The owner Ron cheated me. He told me he gave me a gel nail job on my toes and gel french manicure and charged me for them. i was told to dry my nails by with the gel dryer. I was very unhappy with the Frenach manicure as it started to peal within a week. So i chose to go elsewhere to have my nail repainted for another occasion. The nail technician at the new salon removed my old pedi with acitone. Only the tips of the French Mani were gel and they were peeling. I have been coming to Magic Nails since they opened. They used to have great service, not anymore. They never have enough qualified people working, they rush to the point my finger tips hurt for several hours afterwards. The owner does a terrible job she is not focused on what she is doing. Some of my nails are rounded and some squared off. After paying I have to go home and fix my nails. It is a shame they are so close and used to be good. I had called ahead of time and said I was just down the road and asked if there would be a wait because I was limited on time. They told me no and that three people would be available for three full sets. When we arrived, we probably had to wait a good 10 min just for friend #1 to be helped and she had announced that we were limited on time in the first place. It then took another 10/15 minutes for me to be helped. At that point, I got to the point where they just glued on the plastic nail and I told the lady to stop because friend #2 was still waiting and we had to leave in 20 minutes. They assured us that they could do it all within our time frame, but you can't do a complete full set in 15 minutes time. I came here to get my nails done TOGETHER with my friends, but clearly not. I went and sat next to friend #2 and started taking off the plastic nails while we waited for friend #1 to be finished since she only needed a fill and color change. The lady that had been doing my nails started on another lady's pedicure and went out of her way to turn her whole torso to look back at me with a rude look on her face. The second time she did it, I got up and walked angrily out of the salon. When friend#1 was finished, they said it was $40 for a fill and her color. She threw down the money leaving no tip because of the awful service we all had here. They lied, had attitudes, and had extremely high prices for a shitty place.
