I had a very disappointing experience at Radiance's Nails. I originally scheduled a 12:00 PM appointment, then called back to reschedule for 10:00 AM . When I arrived, I was told I was only on the schedule for 12:00 PM. This completely threw off my day and ruined the plans I had for an anniversary celebration and plans for the afternoon. What upset me the most was not just the scheduling error, but that I wasn't offered an alternative or the option to see another technician. I had to walk out, frustrated and disappointed, because my technician was fully booked. For a business that's run by a husband-and-wife team, I expected better communication and customer service. If you choose to come here, double-check your appointment time because they clearly need to improve how they handle scheduling and client care. read more

No Customer service!! My hubby and I both had a Spa pedicure so upgraded from basic. Had to tell them to use a pumice stone and had to insisted on what has to be done. The young guy was basically looking elsewhere while doing his job. Asked for a regular nail polish, which I always do anywhere I go but regular nail salon and lady was busy all day. I needed my feet done. At the end $90 for us both and $20 tip. I kept their flip-flops on for 3 hrs after we left. Since they did not even propose to sit under a fan to dry that out. My husband took them off carefully. We had a dinner that evening. I put on sandals open toes. Got in the car and looked at my toes!! Wth was going on still wet as wet can be, bubbling up smeared. I was pissed. No time to go back. 4 toes bubbling up. Looked ridiculous. Went to bed that night and probably smeared even more. Never did I have that problem anywhere before. Called them went back. And the owner starts arguing with me like I should have asked for no chip. I explained I never do. It was all bubbled up. He says only no chip and add another $15 to this fiasco. I'm like really you are kidding me. He proceeds to tell me how expensive the nail polish is and balblabla. I just just give to me I don't wanna argue with with you. Was not in the mood. I got to say lucky him. The same kid did my nails again no chip. I go to pay to and the guy starts all over telling me how nail polish is expensive. The biggest bullcrap I have ever heard. They use on bottle on probably 80ppl or more they paid for it 200 times. He was pretty rude for no reason. Never again that's all I have to say. Will not recommend to anyone. Go anywhere but there... Went in for 2 eyebrow waxes with a gift card. First lady who did my friends eyebrows was really nice. Then she proceeded to say she couldn't do the other eyebrow and lip- fine, ok. So a Second Lady comes in to do mine. She leaves residual wax on my eyebrows and seems surprised she had to also do a lip service. After all the fuss the First Lady goes to ring us up, and she overcharges. Not a big deal but the owner (?) comes over and starts yelling at her in front of us!! Super unprofessional. We were trying to help calculate what was left on the gift card and the owner also yells at us because we did the math wrong. I will not be coming back. I have been there 2 times for a pedicure. It was ok. But both time next day I had fraud on my credit card. One time a watch shop and other one was a postal service for labels to ship stuff. My bank will cover the fraud charges but it is a pain in the butt changing all my bills. read more

Lacey does a great job and takes her time but before she could finish my nails she was pulled away and the final product was not acceptable. I got a dip manicure and they look unfinished. I didn't get any lotion and when the man said you are done I had to ask to receive cuticle oil but still no lotion or clean up. I'm attaching a picture of the unfinished look. Seems to be missing a coat of something and they don't look clean or glossy like they typically look at other places. Will not be back. Exactly what I asked for, I believe that Katie did my pedicure and I know it was Kevin who did my full set. This place is so clean and accommodating with water and a variety of music. Thanks for the great job! 5 star service today with work and explanation of rewards program. But ranking a 4 star because my last visit 6 months ago I had 2 nails break within a week. My mom and I have both been going to Radiance for almost a year and a half now and we absolutely love it!! They are always very welcoming and their staff are quick and efficient! One thing I will say is that the times I have gotten a polish change or pedicure from here with regular polish, it does not seem to last the way it should. Other than that, I recommend Radinace!! Went on vacation and within 2 wks 5 nails had just popped off (had to go buy nail glue to try to still look cute) now I noticed when she put on my tips BARELY a drop of glue was used?!? I go in today (w the 5 nails in a baggie to show them) and the lady literally argued w me that I musta been really rough w my hands. I've only come twice so far but I literally had to force myself to wait two weeks for my next pedicure. It is spacious and clean and beautifully decorated. They have a large color selection. Both pedis (and the mani I got today) have been amazing. And their sanitary practices? They pull fresh tools out of the autoclave for each customer. They line the basin of the pedicure chair with plastic at the beginning of each pedicure. They also put all the lotions and scrubs in separate cups so they're not continually dipping into one big tub. Both times I got a pedicure they wore gloves. Makes my little germ hating heart happy. Plus they're the only salon I've been able to find that opens at 9am. This means I can drop off my son at his stuff and get in here and out in time to pick him up. A moment to pamper myself without having to drag him along (he's a saint, really, but he's a kid- he'd rather run and play) or arrange & coordinate a sitter makes me so happy. The final bonus? They have little hooks at each manicure station for your purse. (Listen- you all with 20lb purses stop playing and put your bag elsewhere. It's a hook, not a supporting wall. I'm gonna be mad if they start breaking off and they don't/can't get replaced). I'm torn between wanting to keep them my little secret and hoping they blow up so they don't go away. read more

Okay so I wrote a nice review Steven and this nail salon after my first time visiting. The people are very nice. I decided to go back for a second try. Steven was my nail tech again. I got the dip powder nails which is not cheap. They charge 40 dollars each time. Plus I tip very well. Well one week to the day after my second visit my nails are falling off. I have one nail off and two more a out to fall off. You would think spending almost $100 which included tips in one month. My nails should last. Sorry to say I will not be going back to this nail salon. They need to reduce their prices if they are using a cheap product. read more

I hate to leave a poor review because the owner was very kind, however the service and experience was just so poor. I was unfortunately not able to make it in to my usual salon, so I stopped in here since I just needed a simple service and they had the highest reviews. I needed the dip on my nails removed & a classic manicure. Upon entering, I told them my desired services only for them to repeatedly tell me I needed no chip. I informed them I did not want it but every single tech tried to convince me to do no chip. It was annoying, but I understand upselling. The tech they put me with seemed annoyed that I didn't want no chip or anything fancy and barely spoke. I informed him I had my natural nail crack that I needed to be fixed with some glue (it was not broken all the way to my nail bed). He told me no problem. Here's where the problem begins. He began to dremel the top coat off. No problem. My salon usually does and then soaks off the rest. However, I noticed that he used a tip that was unusual. He dremeled my nails with a harsh tip and didn't stop when he could see my natural nail. He filed down into my nail bed. Then he soaked the remained chips of polish for 2 minutes, only to pick it off. It was very painful & left my nails thin. He was harsh when filing my now paper thin nails. But, when it came to my cuticles, he neglected them and I have to ask him to clean up certain areas. Note: my nails, even after removing dip, no chip, or acrylic, are naturally very thick & strong (I've had enhancements on & off for 4 years now & never had this problem). His paint job was also sloppy. He missed my nail but managed to get it on my skin every time with minimal clean up. Once the hack job was finished, I brought it to the owners attention. He offered to repaint my nails, but he didn't take the pain my nail beds were in seriously. He told me if he buffed them more then they'd be all better--WRONG. He did repaint them, however, they were uneven due to my now damaged nail beds. Most salons would at least comp the removal price, considering the owner acknowledged he didn't use proper technique. However, that was not the case. I would like to say my home salon would've comped the whole experience, but I would've never had this experience there. It's been a month now, and my nails have peeled off: trying to open a soda can, open a door, grab my license out of my wallet. When paying, I asked about their cash back promotion where you get 5% back if you pay cash. I was told that they did that, but not for me. Interesting & rude. The owner was overall very kind. I disagree with some of his business practices (not comping the $5 removal) however he was a good man. The nails on others looked very nice-- however they're unusually fast, especially with dip so beware. I wouldn't discourage people from going here because overall I like the owner & think he's a good guy & wants to produce good work. However, he needs to examine his techs and some practices. read more

Went for a no-chip mani. The work itself was okay - little bumpy and color uneven along the edges of a few nails. I don't know if it was my only my nail tech, but I honestly should have just walked out right away because the desk, equipment and their process seemed VERY UNSANITARY. Once I sat down I noticed nail debris (even clipped nails) all over desk, table light and no-chip light. Nail tools use did not come to me sanitized. Everything was pulled out of their drawer or already on desk, no tools in a sanitized bag was ever brought. read more

Went back to get them fixed and the owners were extremely disrespectful and they basically told me they can't fix them and told me they can't refund my money. Loved their service! Their COVID-19 guidelines are clear and enforced, they take your temperature and everyone is socially distanced. You can easily book online and they send you a confirmation text. My nails are currently very short but I needed a nice professional gel mani for work and they delivered. NEVER AGAIN! 1st experience, went on a Monday, no wait and walked right in to Steven. I haven't had my nails done in years and decided to treat myself for an upcoming event. Got dip nails on recommendation of a friend. Steven was friendly and gentle and did a good job. He took his time and explained when removed they would have to be soaked off and will be reapplied to help keep the nail underneath very healthy. These nails lasted 2 weeks and 2 days which I was pleased with in comparison to some no chip I've had in the past. Fast forward to my next visit. I made an appointment online with STEVEN. When I arrived I was told that my appointment stated anyone which was not the case. I should have protested this more but the receptionist sat me in the second chair to the right of the salon before I could really process the situation. I sat down and a man came over and I did not get his name. His polo shirt was so wrinkled and that should have been the first red flag to me. If you don't even care about your appearance in a nice area in a new salon, you probably won't care about the customers either. He proceeded to DRILL all the dip off my nails instead of soaking it as it should have been. He drilled every single piece off my nails because he didn't want to take it off properly. He didn't even wash or clean his hands or himself after getting all the disgusting nail dust all over himself. He then proceeded to do a terrible job reapplying the dip to where it either crystallized or he went over the layers with the drill instead of smoothing and buffing. He then made my thumb nail so crooked I started to think he was on something. It's literally sideways unlike all other nails AND covered in scratches. When he drilled the nails back down to smooth, he went across all my cuticles intentionally! He was too lazy to even properly cut them. I was so disgusted. This was this past Thursday and my nails are in so much pain and still bloody around the edges. The worst part is I can't even get them fixed because even just washing my hands or using sanitizer hurts so bad. I have to do this all the time as a nurse so this is the most unpleasant experience I have EVER had at a salon and incredibly unsanitary practice by bloodying people during what should have been a normal service. Getting your nails done is supposed to be a relaxing experience. I felt the salon staff were stand-offish. They don't greet you (or they didn't greet me) when you come in. Also, I really dislike when a technician pulls my arm or hand into the position they need it in, rather than just ask me to reposition myself. I've been here twice now and have been disappointed on both occasions. My latest service was a no chip polish removal and then no chip application. While removing my previous no chip polish the nail tech filed the top portion of my nails (nail beds not the length) so far down that my nails are paper thin and no longer have the white tips at the end. They are nearly see through. He never asked me how far to cut my nails or what shaped I preferred. When I asked about colors and told him I wanted something neutral ("milky white" to be exact) he handed me a "book" with 3 neutrals-none of them milky white-all the rest were hot pinks and purples. I know they have more colors than offered as the boxes of colors line the walls. Nail salons are a dime a dozen, so I will try my luck somewhere else. The nail damage I now have was not worth the $40. read more

Absolutely terrible. I went today for the second time. I just wanted a fill in on my acrylic nails that were done here 2 weeks ago. They didn't tell me before the start that there are no dryers. I asked how was I supposed to dry my hands? He said I can go outside and sit in my car until they were dry. I was floored. At this point I'm sure they will smudge because of the 2 coats of polish and 1 coat of clear had zero drying time in between layers. I ask if they maybe have quick dry spray. Of course they didn't. I was completely outdone. I told him take the polish off because it would be ruined and a waste. Another woman comes over and tells me that's why I should've gotten no chip. I tried to explain to her the same thing I explained to him. Now they both were talking over me. The quality of work is subpar. I had coffin shape the first time and asked for it again. Every other nail is shaped differently. My daughter who is 12, had a pedi and full set. It was supposed to be a birthday gift. Her nails weren't any better than mine. I didn't want her to be disappointed because her bday was the following day but she is so gracious that she sat quietly for him to finish. I understand that the health department has new regulations for nail salons but they should make the changes to services clear. They are dismissive and don't value their customers. I just this establishment in tears. Michael we very rude from the beginning. My pedicure looked like a 5 year old did it. When I went to pay I asked the gentleman at the front if he thought it looked good (it was very bumpy and uneven) he said he would redo it then preceded to paint over it with a different color. He then got very loud I front of everyone because I couldn' remember the color number ( I was in car accident and have a hard time with memory) he was getting very loud and embarrassed me so badly so I walked out. They chased me and took pictures of my license plate. I wound up letting them redo them and they still look like a child did them. I have pictures for proof, sloppy job. I paid but left no tip. How sad to be treated this way. I will not be back and be sure to spread the word on how you treat people. If I wasn't just passing thru I'd go back to him only. MUCH BETTER! Unfortunately I can't change my rating of this shop but at least they fixed my nails. Mani/Pedi done in 1hr, definitely very rushed thru even after asking to slow down a bit. Service outcome looks fine and was relaxing just not great. This place is amazing! The decor and atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. It is not like other nail salons it has more of a spa feel!
