I was prepared for a relaxing pedi/mani. Was not at all. The girl I got didn't want to be there but she wanted that tip. I have a nail that is chipped lower than the other one however that nail is still uneven. They really like to use the drill instead of normal filing. read more

I wasn't listened to when I asked for a layover and manicure. She just tried to justify doing me a favor and then offered to remove dead skin for $10 more. I have natural long nails and only wanted a hardener to keep them strong, along with a manicure. The price didn't matter; I was trying to figure out why I wasn't being listened to. I also asked for no color, but she used a pink coat, leaving them pinkish. To make matters worse, the builder gel wasn't even applied to my whole nails, so they looked silly. They still look silly because after I realized she kept saying the pinkish color was natural, despite my request for no color, I asked for red nails to cover the defects. The builder gel isn't even covering my nails, and they are bubbly, like I have bubbles on my fingers, not nails. I'm super upset because I told her I wasn't happy with the color and the nails, and that I wanted a manicure, but she didn't do what I asked. My daughter just got a manicure, and her paint was messed up when she walked out of the salon. She was afraid to say something, and at that point, I was just over it all because I already felt like I wasn't being listened to. However, her nails are fine. They just have smudges all over them ... The vibe wasn't quite my style I can create conversation with just about anybody and nobody was super friendly in there. Holly started working on removing my nail polish with the drill and seemed to be upset. I kept asking her to take it easy but it did not phase her bit. I asked her 3 times if she was ok . Then she passed me off to Shalon. Shalon kept repeatedly nicking the same spot on my cuticle with the drill on one finger. Meanwhile she just kept talking to other employees like I wasn't there. I got beige color instead of pink that I asked for and never did get the chrome that I asked for 3 times. Shalon added a light purple color since I didnt like the color but still no chrome. I went to Ballerina Nails and Spa recently because I had won a raffle/giveaway on instagram for $50 off a service. I proceeded to book a gel manicure with designs and regular pedicure, as well as a head spa. The gel manicure was okay. I did like that they had rhinestones and jewels available for design but honestly I felt you could go elsewhere for a similar quality at a lower price. I do however really love my design, it just took awhile for them to complete. The head spa is a whole other story. This was a wonderful experience at a reasonable price. I definitely fell asleep during the massage was so relaxed. I also like that they offer mini facials with it. I totally approve of this experience. read more

Holly upcharged me $10 for french tip and didn't tell me it would be an extra $15 for chrome, making my total with tip $72. She cut down my nails to the point of them bleeding. After, I expressed my unhappiness politely and I was approached with no help or understanding. The only thing they could offer me was $12 in return for the tip, but said they couldn't remove the nail job done or return the remaining $60 I spent on a nail job I was unhappy with and also didn't ask for. read more

I decided to try this business after reading reviews and doing it recommended. It was the worst nail salon experience I've ever had. The total lack of professionalism was horrible! The woman doing my nails and her co-workers had a multitude of inappropriate conversations and threw around f-bombs like they were not working in front of customers. She would periodically take a hit from her vape pen like she was on a break. It took over TWO hours for a dip powder and two tips put on.. She was so involved with her conversations, she nicked me several times - the last time to the point of drawing blood. Then tried to say it happened because the prior nail work had the nail material too thick. After all that, the look of my nails is mediocre, at best. I waited a couple of days before making this review to see if I would stay as dissatisfied, and my thoughts haven't changed. read more

I went Tuesday afternoon and got a gel manicure and pedicure the young lady name was Maggie. She did a beautiful job on both very please.

A recent experience at the Ballerina salon made me feel very uncomfortable due to a couple of your employees incessantly talking loudly about very personal matters in a crass and unabashed manner using language which I would have preferred to not hear. These staff obviously were unaware and/or did not care who heard their conversations (they were fearless) showing zero concern how their actions would affect customers or depict the establishment negatively. The two employees involved were located near the second row in the manicure area. Their behavior created a negative and tense atmosphere where they shamelessly discussed with each other but within earshot of all, private details about their boyfriends (fights) and personal family issues. Nor did they care about their clients. All exposed felt trapped and uncomfortable while sitting in their chairs and receiving services from other staff. Hope that management takes these comments seriously. Well-managed nail salons ideally create an atmosphere of tranquility and peace, but in this salon the opposite effect is achieved. Upon reflection, I will review prior reviews like the one posted on this site in June of 2025 describing a closely similar situation. It comes to mind, that if management had addressed the issue correctly in June of last year, the situation would have been resolved by now. read more

I have been going here since they opened, I brought my daughters, husband, and friends to get all types of different services offered there. I went and got a full set like I have many times before, paid, left. I noticed that I paid more than I usually do and when I went to their website to check and see if I missed a price increase, I saw nothing. I called to inquire and was told that to add chrome powder was $15 and if the tech has to do "extra filing" on the nails it can cost more and when I booked the appointment online, I agreed to it because it's in the fine print. I got short almond nails, single color, with chrome. I have gone and gotten the most intricate designs with multiple colors and paid less. It's sad that they're getting greedy and what's worse is that when I called to inquire why I was charged what I was charged, I get a text saying my upcoming pedicure appointment was canceled!! I'll happily take my business elsewhere. read more

Acrylics are not sticking to nail bed, tips of nails are missing polish. The price was extremely high for such poor technique and poor attention to detail. The natural nail was not prepared correctly. A little bit more time and technique and this could have been worth it. Very disappointing Thank you to the business owners response. I do not expect perfection. For $75 I do expect a better technique though. While I appreciate the quick response, I think the tone of that response was unfortunate. I have to make an appointment for different day just to fix them. I had an event planned only reason I took different technician. I am giving a 3star because they are super sweet, however, I was not happy with my nails. I went for a regular manicure and pedicure with my aunt. I had to return but it wasn't any better. My cuticles were cute badly and the polish was so uneven and bumpy and only lasted two days. Not sure why they used a drill on my aunts untouched nails. I came in as a new client for a pedi. My appt started at 1:30 and my nails were painted by 1:58. I've never had a more lackluster pedicure.

Wow. Just wow. So impressed. I went to Ballerina a few months ago with a friend of mine. We were able to book online (which is awesome... What other nail spa does that around here?). There was a mix up with what service my friend got- she had booked a fancier manicure service than what she actually got, but she didn't say anything about it to anyone until after we had left the salon. (She was still kind of trying to figure it out in her head, like, "Wait a minute... I thought I booked the other one.... Umm... I don't think I got what I paid for...") However, the salon was closed at this point, so we were disappointed, but we were just going to forget about it. About 30 Minutes later, Jason (the owner, I think) called me a few times (my phone was on silent because we went to dinner). He left a voicemail saying that they just realized that my friend did not get the full service that she paid for and that they were so sorry for the mix up. He said that he would be refunding the price difference to the card we used, so we didn't even need to come back to the salon to take care of it. Wow. Just wow. They had an opportunity to just let it slide and keep the money. but they didn't. That's a LOT of integrity. That's GREAT customer service and a GREAT owner and a GREAT company. Booked online and the price said $35+ for a full set. I only added a French tip for $6.00 and it ended up being $60 for my nails. The shape is decent I'll say that, a little bumpy but I said square and she gave me square. I watched my tech lay acrylic over a black dot with fuzz; I even took my hand and picked at it myself as she watched me, then continued her work. There is fuzz all over them, the paint on some nails is super thin, some sides don't even have any paint the white just stops, there is white paint all over my fingers and hand somehow. When she did the French tip, she painted half of my nail white, then used a brush with polish remover to shape the tip. I've personally never in my life seen it done in such a way. The tech painted too much on one finger and had to wipe it off with a paper towel, but it had began drying at that point, so she took a regular file and filed the white paint off, then just put more white back on top of it. The tech didn't even bother to paint more of the nude/pink base color after filing it, just more white! After she finished the top clear coat, she filed my nails again and used the buffer drill....yes...after they were painted and done. That really threw me off because that made them rough and appear unfinished. Then at the very end the tech says "you can get some lotion then you're done" and gestured to a lotion bottle on her station. Any other place I've been to does not do things in this order, like filing my nails after painting them not once but twice. Not to mention online it was suggesting my price to be $41.00. I also paid for my younger cousin and her nails were so atrocious that we went to another salon afterwards to have them reshaped and repainted it was just really unbelievable. She asked for a French tip with the color green. They gave her the wrong shade that she didn't ask for, and half of her nails are green. I've never seen such poorly executed French tips. $60.00 for hers as well, and of course, online it said $35 for the set plus $6.00 for the French tips. The staff were very friendly and the place was nice. But the actual service provided needs some revision. read more

Then argued with me about the color I chose (dip powder) being labeled wrong because the color on the selection portfolio was much darker than the color they put on my nails. Lily took the time to carefully remove the acrylics and work on repairing my nails. She then did an amazing job painting a design just like the Pinterest photo I showed her.
