Disappointed with owner of this nail salon. Twice I have tipped the owner for the services of my husband and I. ( two different people completing the services--one she completed and one another worker completed.)Twice the female owner has taken the bigger portion of the tip and left the other worker less money. Just infuriates me that she would take the 10 dollars and leave five for the other worker. Makes me wonder of what other ethical debacles they take part in. read more

Just moved to Winchester from IL, and picking a new salon is always a hassle. This place is very professional and reasonably priced for the service you get. First I had the pleasure of getting my dip manicure done by Vivy. I asked for a short round shape because my nails all broke from the move and she delivered. Some places don't understand how thick/thin dip should be on a nail but Vivy knows her stuff. She did great with my cuticles too, which a lot of places rush over. She took her time with my nails and I am grateful for that. I am very pleased with this dip manicure and will be going to see her again. Second, I had some old gel polish on my toes that I wanted redone. Since the salon was very busy they had two people (Kevin and Cindy) switch off on my toes, and both were very professional and thorough. My cuticles on my toes were out of control as well, and they took their time to make my toes look perfect! The gel was applied evenly and the shape of my toe nails is exactly what I wanted. Also, their massage chairs are aaaahmazing. I will definitely be going back to try their upgraded spa treatments for feet and a longer foot massage. Keep up the good work! read more

Honestly they were okay - just wanted to let you know they will pick up a nail file on the floor to use on your nails which is really nasty to me. As the day got more busier during my service with them, they didn't bother clean up the excess gel polish on my skin. Nails are pretty but won't come back due to unsanitary practices experience. read more

I've been here once and it was a pretty good experience. I called about an hour before closing the night before Easter to see if they could get me in for a gel mani the man who answered the phone was friendly and did not seem annoyed by my ask and told me to come on in the girl who did my nails (I didn't catch her nails) was very nice and helped me pick out a color- they have a ton of options. She did a nice job on my manicure (did a dry cuticle cut which I prefer) and she shortened and shaped them to my liking. The polish is evenly applied and shiny. It's only day 2 but I will definitely try this place again. Bonus the gel mani was $5 less expensive than my normal place. read more

The top coat of the powder dip on my nails began to peel off after one day and then started to chip. I went back and asked them to redo my nails. I asked for a new color and they said NO! I said to take off the dip, leave them plain and I wanted a refund and the technician said NO! I spoke with the owner and we agreed that I would receive a regular manicure and refund me the difference of $20.00, then the owner left. The technician used the nail drill to remove the dip off my nails and I had to jerk my hand away 3 times due to her burning my nails. What I received was damaged nails and a couple coats of regular nail polish (Not a manicure, as we had agreed on) and no apology from the technician. I had to take the nail polish off at home the next day as it was chipping and my nails were a MESS! Layers of nail missing on the top, burned when put in warm water, all white in the middle and red just above and very sore to the touch. Was this technician licensed??? I will NEVER set foot in there again. Owner should have apologized, cared enough to ask who did my nails to begin with, fixed the issue at no cost or provided a refund and stayed to ensure nothing else went wrong. I hope the owner reads this and learns how to treat customers in the future. Patrons beware! read more

They take their time, do a great job AND have the massage chairs, which I haven't found anywhere else. I definitely recommend this place. The only caveat? Make an appointment! A group of three of us went in for a pedicure on a Sunday afternoon. We walked in, were sat in pedicure chairs and waited for about 10 minutes. A second group of three came in and we were asked to get up and wait until the other techs were finished because this group of three had made an appointment. Needless to say we did not wait and went elsewhere. The salon itself is clean and the staff is somewhat friendly. They offer beverages and should massages while you dry. They also offer a 10% discount with student ID. I have gone here many times but sadly after this previous experience I will not be back. First off I never leave reviews. I have no idea why this place isn't more popular. I've gotten my nails done there three times by three different people and had an amazing experience all three times. I went to a 'fancier' place earlier this month and paid almost three times as much to be disappointed in how my nails looked. I went in today and my natural nails were a total mess from my bad manicure at the different nail salon and Cindy managed to fix them and make them look better than ever. I only pay $45 for tips with dip and coffin shaping. She took her time and managed to make my awful winter dried cuticles look amazing. I would pay twice as much for the wonderful quality service I receive there each time. If I could give this place 0 stars I would have. My friend and I went, and neither one of us were happy with our nails. Neither of us are ones to complain and just gracefully paid and left. Both of our nails were not only thick and bubbly....but for the first time in my life I ended up with a fungus on 2 of my fingers after asking the technician to redo one with a bubble in the middle of it at which point he drilled a hole the nail, filled it with glue...and then continued even after I said I wanted it done right bc I DIDNT want a fungus!!!! After continuing to patronize this place for over 2 years I am finally done! Don't bother making an appointment ahead of time because you can almost be certain when you show up ON TIME for your "scheduled appointment" the technician will have someone else in the chair. Although this happened more often than not, the final straw was when I witnessed a customer walk in 5 minutes before I did for my appointment, and sure enough the technician I had an appointment with was just starting on the customer's nails. Several times prior to the last incident, she was halfway through or nearing the end of the customer's manicure, so I patiently waited. At times, she would have another employee remove my old polish and I would sit while she finished up. Also several times, I would overhear customers calling to schedule appointments and they would repeatedly give the same time to every caller?! Their tools were never sanitized in front of clients also, and I would often think I should ask if I should bring my own.. poor, poor business practices all around!! read more
