I want to begin by clarifying that my grievances do not lie with the receptionist, the manager, or the hygienist; my concerns are solely based on my experience with the dentist.
As the first client of the day, I was greeted warmly by the receptionist and given an excellent tour by the manager. The hygienist was informative and thorough during my diagnosis while I patiently waited for the dentist. However, after a significant period of waiting, I found myself increasingly concerned about the delay. I asked the hygienist if he could check on the dentist's status, and he kindly agreed to inquire about how much longer it would be.
What transpired next was shocking. The dentist, overheard by me, stated that he would prefer to work on "guaranteed work" rather than "prospective work," making it clear he was dismissive of my needs as a patient. This comment was not only unprofessional but also deeply disrespectful to me and the staff present.
Feeling disrespected, I removed the bib and approached the front desk to pay for the services I had received. Despite the efforts of the receptionist, manager, and hygienist to defuse the situation, I felt compelled to explain the dentist's comments and how they affected me.
To my astonishment, the dentist then walked out with another client still in the chair and reiterated his previous statement about preferring guaranteed money. This blatant display of disregard for both clients and staff was appalling.
I have never been treated in such a disrespectful manner in my life. The lack of professionalism and humanity displayed by this dentist has ensured that I will never return to this office. I refuse to spend my hard-earned money in a facility that does not uphold basic standards of customer service and respect. read more
