They followed our medication regiment exactly how we asked and they even turned on the music to help the pups be calm during fireworks. You can request hikes for your dog too. BUT. One of my favorite things they did is that on a day that was way too hot for a dog, they chose not to walk our dog. It makes it so easier to vacay when you can trust where your dog stays. 10/10 would recommend here !

Creature Comforts is a nice facility in west Loveland, practically in the foothills. Most importantly, it is run by people who love dogs, which was very apparent when I picked my dogs up. Sure, they were happy to see me, but were happy and bright -- they didn't seem stressed at all (and yes, there have been occasions where I've come home to find clingy, seemingly attention-starved dogs when I've picked them up from other boarding facilities in Ft. Collins). Some other nice details: * they have a larger "family" kennel that can accommodate multiple dogs from the same household, so my 3 poodles were able to board together at a very reasonable cost. * The kennels are truly indoor-outdoor kennels so that during the day your dogs have free access in or out -- they are not cooped-up in the kennel the majority of the time as you will find at other kennels that do not have this indoor-outdoor access. * There is a caretaker on-site 24x7 -- with a breed that is prone to bloat (a medical emergency that often occurs in the middle of the night & that has considerable morbidity/mortality if not treated quickly) it is good to know that someone will be there, and that with my pre-authorization they will be taken to a vet to get help. * They will give you dogs medication/supplements at no additional cost -- quite a contrast to the place that not only was going to charge extra for administering meds, but wanted a note from my vet saying that my older poodle was safe to board. * For a very reasonable ($2.50-$3.50) cost, you can set-up short, well-supervised playtimes or walks around the property for your dogs. Having a choice was really nice, since my older dog does need to get out for exercise, but has back and neck issues that make me worry about her playing with other dogs. The younger dogs are rough-and-tumble types, so the playtime was perfect for them. * They keep track of how your dogs are doing. You'll get a little report card when you pick your dogs up with notes on things you might have worried about while you were away -- whether they were eating, how they behaved, whether they played well with other dogs. If you have occasion to talk to the owner, she'll know how your dogs did during their stay, too. * Check-out was very organized -- all of the stuff (beds, blankets, toys, food, medication, etc.) were neatly piled in the lobby when I walked-in to pick up my dogs, washable items having been freshly-laundered.

I have a 4 month old puppy and a five year old dog who have very different needs. I find watching my puppy pretty challenging sometimes but it is never an issue for Mark! My dogs love his yard and I feel like they are getting their own little vacation when I'm out of town. Another huge plus is the price - I've normally paid around $55 for each dog, but Mark charges $55 for two dogs which is a huge cost saver for me. I highly recommend using Mark's services if you are going out of town and want your dog to be comfortable and happy!

We always chose places with video cameras because that was really the only peace of mind that the dogs were doing ok. It was a little depressing watching them sleep most of the day away in their pen, though. Our pups would be so anxious when we'd pick them up. Im so grateful that my husband recently found Mark's business online. Mark boards a couple of dogs at a time in his own home, or if he is booked, he will come to your home for walks/feeding/playtime. We've had him watch our pups both ways and couldn't be happier. He is very loving with our dogs, professional, accommodating and a great communicator - couldn't ask for more!

Please never bring your pet here to be abused. I would give a 0 star if I could…read more My husband and I dropped off our two dogs for 12 nights over Christmas and just picked them up this morning. We had asked them to separate our dogs during feedings because the older dog will eat the younger dogs food, and I was told that this would be no problem and they will absolutely be separated. Well, this morning when we picked our dogs up, the 4 year old was 8lbs heavier and the 9 month old was 6lbs skinnier with his rib bones showing, which is clear evidence of them not being separated during their nearly 2 week stay. Which means our 9 month old puppy STARVED for almost 2 weeks. When I brought this up to them, I was just lied to over and over again, and assured that they were separated when they ate. If that were the case, how is my 4 year old dog now obese (which has never happened when she's been boarded before), and my 9 month old starving with his bones showing? How does that make any sense at all? The evidence is clearly against what I'm being told by them. Additionally, our puppy came home with a gash above his eye, a bloody lip, a scratch on his nose, and a broken tooth with the root exposed which needs a surgical removal now. Not only was our 9 month old puppy starving for nearly two weeks, but who knows how long his tooth has been broken and causing him pain, and even how it was broken. I asked why I didn't receive a phone call about his face being beat up (which has never happened at home, because our dogs get along very well) and she said "there's nothing I could have done about it, because even if I had put Neosporin on it he would have probably licked it off" which means he is lucky he didn't get an infection while he was in there, since his wounds weren't even being cleaned or taken care of. I just cannot express enough how furious I am about this whole experience, and how gutted I feel for leaving our dogs here for 12 days to be abused. I am not claiming that these people abused them on purpose, but the lack of attention and care to not even separate them to eat so our puppy doesn't starve is just evil and cruel. I will never bring my dogs here again and I'd advise any pet parent against bringing their pet kids here. We were refunded for the stay, but will now spend all of that money and much more on surgery and meds to remove our puppy's broken tooth. I am sick to my stomach and my heart is just absolutely broken for him having to experience all that for nearly two weeks. Never again. Please never bring your pet here.
