I text you to confirm the date and you confirmed. Did you ever ask for a deposit prior to the party? No. I understand you're doing your best as business owner but don't make this look like it was my fault cause I didn't lock in a deposit. You didn't even ask for a deposit until the day of the party. My recommendation for you is to keep your work more organized and not try to blame the customer for your own mistakes.

Spencer arrived right on time and had everything set up in just 2-3 minutes. We booked 1.5 hours of balloon twisting ($265), and it was a huge hit with everyone - from toddlers to adults! There was a constant line of guests waiting for their turn throughout the entire 1.5 hours! One of the best parts is that balloon twisting requires virtually no setup space, making it easy to fit into almost any party layout (just be prepared for the line that forms!). It was such a fun addition to the celebration, and I would absolutely hire Taylor Entertainment again for a future event.

I had Star Wars characters scheduled from 430-6 and wanted all attention to be on the characters. So the plan was to have the face painter and balloon artist gone by then. The face painter called me about 40 mins before 3 and said she would be about 15 mins late. Okay, no big deal, I appreciated the heads up. When she arrived I thought maybe the balloon artist would be with her because the balloon artist hadn't showed up and I hadn't heard from her and it was already about 315. The face painter told me she would call the balloon artist and find out what was going on. About 10 mins later the face painter told me that the balloon artist got the time wrong and thought she was supposed to be there at 4 instead of 3. At this point I'm a little frustrated because I know the balloon artist time is now going to cut into the Star Wars characters time, but I'm informed by the face painter that the balloon artist lives not too far and can be there by 4 if not a little sooner. Fast forward to 445 and A balloon artist finally shows up. I'm told by the face painter that this is not the original balloon artist and that she's not sure what's going on, she has tried calling Cynnamon and that she can't get a hold of her that her phone is going straight to voicemail. Then come to Find out the balloon artist only speaks Spanish and so the kids can't even communicate with the balloon artist to tell them what they want. My wife, who speaks Spanish, had to translate to the balloon artist for some of the kids and I'm not sure who else helped but at this point, I'm furious. So I text cynnamon and tell her that I don't feel like I should pay for this balloon artist because he's an hour and 45 mins late, he's cut into my Star Wars characters time which I paid a lot of money for, he can't even communicate with the kids, and to top it off his balloon artistry wasn't that good. I get no response from cynnamon. So fast forward to the time when the balloon artist is done and my wife tells me he's asking to get paid, and I was dead set on not paying him, but my wife felt bad for the guy because he wasn't originally supposed to be there and got thrown into all this, so I ended up paying the guy. I finally hear back from cynnamon about an hour and a half after the party is over in a text which is pasted below. You can read it for yourself. She proceeds to tell me that she can give me $50 off but I should still pay at least $100. Well I already paid the full 150 by that time. So after all that she can only offer $50 refund. What she should do is pay the guy from the $200 deposit that I had already paid if she was concerned about him getting paid and wasting his gas and time and refunded me. Also there was no communication with me whatsoever, in her text she says a story about some mixup and the original balloon artists husband saving the day. I should have been contacted by someone and asked if I still wanted a balloon artist to show up almost 2 hours late. I would have just told them not to worry about it at that point. And then cynnamon proceeds to try to tell me that my party was saved because someone still showed up and that the flow was good because kids could get in line for the balloon artist and the characters. Don't try to gaslight me and tell me how you think this all worked out because of whatever mishaps happened. The flow didn't go how I wanted. I wanted the kids full attention on the Star Wars characters, not split between them and the balloon artist. Cynnamon should learn how to make things right when things go bad. Once again if I was contacted at all, I would have said just save the time of the balloon artist and refund my money for him. The only bright side is Senaida the face painter was amazing. It's too bad, I wouldn't book this company again. If you do book a face painter ask for Senaida. But just be aware the customer service of cynnamon is horrible and communication the day of the party is none existent.

He verified that it was the right size and that it looked appropriate and then had me pick up the next day. His communication was excellent. The part was ready when I arrived, along with a small printed cat which was very sweet. He was kind enough to give me a tour of the makerspace and told me the story of how he came to start the makers space. I really loved his mission and how he is clearly passionate about his work. After the tour he made it clear if I needed any changes or adjustments to the part, he was happy to help me. The part worked perfectly, and I was able to finish the repair within a day of it breaking, all thanks to Rob. I highly recommend his business, 3d printing is one of many other machines and services offered at his facility.

Originally I found Laura via Instagram- I saw a random balloon artist I followed tagged her in several very full scale events. I loved everything about her work, and despite be smack middle in the pandemic (aug 2020) I would see if she would be able to accommodate my event. I had my baby shower at Morning Lavender- a very upscale and high end venue in Orange County, CA. I had a somewhat stressful pregnancy while managing a toddler so I gave Laura my budget, some inspiration photos and wish list and let her run with it. SHE DELIVERED!! I walked into the venue day of and was beaming with an ear to ear smile. Everything was perfect, she hit every little detail and beyond! I didn't have to lift a finger and I truly got to enjoy my whole baby shower. Fast forward to October 2021- we held my daughters 1st birthday at Coyote Hills Golf Course for 100 of our closest friends + family. At this point I without a doubt knew if once again I gave Laura my vision + budget she would execute it, and she did just that!! Everything was perfect! So many of our guests said this was even better than any wedding that they have been to. She levered the venue itself and got lots of extras thrown in (champagne, bistro lights, drapery, extra time etc) I would without a doubt highly recommend Laura for any high end birthday, shower, corporate event or wedding. Her and her team are professional, understand budget and timeline.

She made promises to vet all of the vendors and ensure that they were available on our wedding date prior to sending us the information to make an informed decision about choosing the vendor. She did not do that when it came down to it. For example, we would ask her to send us recommendations for photographers and she would send me a list of 5 photographers that were all out of budget and did not verify availability prior to sending them to us. She sent me a list of 3 florists, I picked out my favorite and asked her to reach out to the florist for availability/pricing and she did not respond for over a week. At that point I decided to reach out to the florist myself for the information and the florist told me that she was not taking any business for all of 2022. After telling Laura this information, Laura told me that she wished I did not reach out to the florist myself because the florist had told her prior to me reaching out that she would take me as a client but did not realize that I was her client and did not want to go back on her word. Seems as though if Laura had a good relationship with the florist, the florist would have still taken me on as a client. Her responsiveness was ok (she would respond to emails fairly quickly but with a response of "working on it" or "i'll work on it") but would take a very long time to get us the information that we asked for. We wanted information about pricing/availability on multiple vendors and she would claim that the vendor would not respond to her due to it being wedding season and vendors are busy. When I reached out to the vendors I was interested in, every single vendor got back to me within 24 hours. After the first 3 months of working with her and essentially not getting anything done, I had asked her to start cc'ing my fiance and I in every single email that she sent regarding our wedding and she was not doing so and claiming that she had "multiple phone calls out" for everything. We told her about our specific deadlines that we wanted to meet and she did not meet our reasonable deadlines. To make things even worse, we had to pay half of the money up front to secure her availability and when we decided it wasn't a good fit for us we were out a significant amount of money. We had the pleasure of being part of a fabulous Princess Me Now party and my 6 year old daughter thought she was a royal princess for the day! She loves Disney's Sofia the first and she's always wanted to attend a real princess party, this experience definitely made that happen! Inside the bus: decked out wall to wall plush amazingness! It's like a majestic castle on wheels! Renee the fairy godmother (highly experienced makeup artist) greets the girls and gland them up! Girls change into their princess dress & get to watch their favorite princess movie while waiting. Once it's all over, the girls exit the bus with a complete makeover! Great for moms: such a great idea, you provide the food and send your party guests on the bus then you get some time to chillax while they get glammed up, it's a win win!
