The Girl sees Dr. Cipes and really likes her…read more Dr. Cipes maintains a terrific chair-side manner with children. She's calm and friendly which helps ease the anxiety of The Girl. She allows one parent to accompany the child back into the exam room, which is reassuring as well. The Girl has required only one filling, but the procedure was completed painlessly, resulting in relieved smiles afterward. The staff are wonderful with children as well and know how to engage a child in upbeat dialogue to further lessen anxiety. The office is colorful, open and the kind of space I'd like for my dentist! Dr. Cipes is terrific. Now we'll see about that when the braces are needed in couple years.

Apparently, the insurance (Aetna) was not paying for the cleaning due to issues with the date of service being input wrong on their end. Received an over the top malicious phone call from someone at their office demanding I pay immediately and how could I not pay my bill for so long and how it was for so much money ($300-really?!). When asked if she or someone else from their office could call my husband as the insurance was through them I was asked if I was divorced? Extremely unprofessional. We won't be back.

(I wish I could just rate his staff here.) The front desk girls are very rude. I once arrived 10 min late in a snowstorm. By the time I walked in, I already had a rude message from one of the front-desk girls asking when I wanted to reschedule my appointment! The waiting area was empty, so we did not hold anyone up. Bad customer service i thought... At the same time, I have waited up to 30 minutes to be seen before... If you can tolerate these rude front ladies, then I would see this doc. Otherwise, look elsewhere for a friendlier overall experience.

I needed implants which required numerous visits and extensive procedures, and honestly there never was any pain or discomfort. Everyone is friendly and personable and talks to you like a friend they just saw last month, not just a couple times a year. They don't try to sell you thing you don't need or make you replace fillings before it needs to be done. It doens't (and never has) felt like a money grab where they tell you to do things that you don't need to get done. Unless you want to, I mean they won't talk you out of a teeth whitening if that's what you want. LOL The parking lot is a bit of the pain since it's one lane so you have to be careful to follow the rules and let the traffic coming in have the right of way, but you get used to it! At least there's parking, for free. You're not paying in a garage so there's that, and that means something in downtown WeHa. Highly recommend if you're looking for a dental practice!

I also feel more rested in the morning and need less sleep probably because I'm getting more oxygen at night. Added bonus of the mouth guard is that it prevents tooth damage that can be caused by grinding. My favorite part of the bi-annual office visit however is the teeth cleaning which is very thorough and pleasant! Highly recommend this family dentist office!
