After a great deal of research (plus the recommendation of my pharmacist whose tattoo I admired), I…read moremade an appointment with Phoebe at Sundew Tattoo when their books opened. I chatted with them for a bit over email to pin down what I wanted done and what I wanted the experience to be like and then when the appointment time came, I was excited to get it done! I'm prone to fainting when there are needles involved so when I started feeling woozy I asked if we could change my position to laying flat on my back with my knees up and Phoebe reset the table perfectly so I could come back from that feeling and they could work once I was ready. I had to pause several times at the beginning and Phoebe was very kind and patient with me, letting me rest as needed and getting back to it when I was ready. When they were all done, it was super exciting to see the finished artwork! My tattoo is better than I could've imagined and I'm thrilled with it! This shop is lovely with soft music, a kind of gothic/witchy sort of vibe, and Phoebe clearly takes care to keep all tools and everything pristinely clean.
