Rec team before a Saturday meet
    Jessie G.

Great personal attention and team building. Classes for ages 3 and up. Leotards on hand for purchase if needed. Staff is always available to help. Clean family oriented location with tv to keep up with sports or entertain siblings during classes. Winning team! See their Facebook for constant updates to team stats. Thanks Maggie and staff for being so great with my dairy.

I was highly recommended Kiddie Academy from a moms fb group so I scheduled a tour. My family and I…read moremoved here from out of town so we really had no idea what to expect. However, when we got there 15 minutes prior to our scheduled time the director was nowhere to be found and we were just sitting there. I finally asked the lady at the front desk when we could meet with the director and she told me she was not there, but still at her son's doctor appt. I totally understood that, however, she asked me to reschedule for later so of course, I said yes. I received confirmation to my phone and then another notification saying the staff was out due to a stomach bug or something like that. I understand. However, after that I expected to get a call from the director or the school to reschedule once again but that never happened. My intention in writing this is just for another mama to take my experience into consideration when looking for the perfect fit for their kiddos. It just seemed/s off. However, I went with my gut and found the school I was looking for AMEN!

This was by FAR the worst experience we've with a daycare. For reference, KA was our 3rd daycare so…read morefar (we recently moved to the area). Where to begin: 1. Prior to enrolling, our 2yr old was going through her 'biting' stages of toddlerhood. She had two incidents at her prior school with a long stint of no incidents after that before enrolling in KA. Once enrolled at KA, our 2yr old went on biting streak. Upon further investigation as to why this kept happening, I found out that A) the classroom was incredibly overcrowded - there was no way any amount of teachers could keep an eye on that amount of kids and B) everyday there was a new teacher in the classroom. The teacher churn was UNREAL. That tells me they don't pay their teachers jack squat and kids run the place so of course the teachers don't care. After awhile, they would start sending my 2yr old home after an incident. How the F am I supposed to pay for daycare if I also have to watch my child? I brought this up to management but they didn't care. Eventually our 2yr old was kicked out of KA. At her new school, she's had one incident of biting in 6 months. Her class has the same 2 teachers M-F and a much smaller class size. 2. KA will take any and every excuse to either close down or send your child home for the day, not just major holidays or incidents, not to mention the 2 weeks off around Christmas/New Years that you are EXPECTED to continue to pay for. Training day for teachers 2-3 times per year? Schools closed, kids stay home and you pay for it. Woke holiday? Schools closed, you pay for it. Mild storm expected? Schools closed, you pay for it. 3. This school is incredibly cheap and although the facilities are nice, good luck trying to get a refund or vacation time without escalating it past management to the owners. All in all, I would avoid unless its your only option.

Consider another place. This is not the place to leave your child if you want them to stay safe…read more The do not communicate any issues with the parents, they leave children in dirty and wet clothes. If your child gets hurt you will have to bring it to their attention as they will not report it themselves. The staff is not childcare certified or trained in anyway. They are ALWAYS talking to each other or on their phones. Kids are allowed to run free, rough and wild. Teachers are more concerned with their gossip.

0 stars was an option that would have been my choice. Where should I start. Our tour day to the…read moredaycare we as parents were not in informed by one of their staff, that the facility had an epidemic of "hand, foot and mouth" the month prior that resulted in alot of children being out. So four days in our son was sent home with a temperature, after going to the Dr's, he was diagnosed with hand, mouth and foot. When we returned after it ran its course, our son teachers said, " yes it was really bad last month and that they were informing the parents but the director had not. Another incident, supposedly a diffuser was on a shelf above where my son was napping at got knocked down by a teacher and fell next to him wasting water, and I'm assuming the oil, all over his clothes. There was an incident report made, my husband signed it but didn't receive a copy. Then the director opened up our son classroom door and smashed his finger, she called me stating there was a small mark on his finger but it went away. The mark did not go away and weeks later it's still visible. A report was made Oct 6 but me or my husband was not presented with it to sign nor did we get a copy until Oct 24, only because I asked. Another incident I experienced was walking in our son classroom and it was him and one other child and a teacher on the floor, I believe she was reading a book but both of the babies had runny noses down to their mouths. I immediately picked my son up and cleaned his face. For her to be right there in their face and look over that was strange. On top of all those things this was my final straw. I received a call stating my son had threw up and I knew he had 2 changes of clothes so I assumed he was okay. The director stated he didn't have a fever and that they would keep an eye on him. Well when I went to pick him up he was on the floor with the other children in a pamper, onesie that was partially snapped and one sock. I asked them," why is my baby on the floor with no clothes on" the teacher stated, " he threw up twice" I went to his bag to find a pair of pants, a shirt and a pair of socks. I was livid. She didn't take the time to even look. Our son's legs were ice cold as well as his arms. Also I also believe that the reason why our son threw up was because he was able to get a hold to another's child food/ milk or was given something that I did not send. The teachers were not consistent and our son is plant based and I provided all his food, drinks and snacks so if it's not clearly communicated to a new teacher a mistake can happen but noone ever admitted it but they were acting really out of character and weird about the situation. I have picked my son up one day and his diaper was soiled as if he had it on for hours and when I looked at the app he hadn't been changed since around 11am and it was 5pm when I picked him up. When I asked his teacher she said it probably was not noted correctly on the app, but the proof was in the diaper. Overall this daycare has been a nightmare. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. It sad when you leave your baby with supposedly trained people to care for them and they drop the ball not once, not twice but several times. The state really need to reevaluate this facility.
