Noise: -- COVID-19 INFO: -- The truth is that I had no idea how Funeral Flowers or Sympathy Flowers worked and my sister helped me get the process started, along with Gray's Flowers--Having never been through this, I actually realized I was clueless to how a funeral works period. I knew you could order flowers but this was tough because the service was so far away from me and I was unfortunately unable to attend due to personal financial reasons I felt uncomfortable discussing. I needed so much help and I was alone and scared. I Googled around to see which Flower Shop was closest to Greenville Ca because that's where the service would be. Luckily, the business owner in Milwood Florist Weddings was kind enough to recommend Gray's Flowers that was closer. I went ahead and called Gray's Flowers and explained how I needed Funeral Flowers/ Sympathy Flowers for a specific church in Greenville, CA with the given budget of what I could spend. I did my best to not be chocked up on the line and Sherri was so incredibly kind because she said she knew these kinds of things are difficult. She even suggested matching the flower arrangement I was ordering to another standing flower arrangement by another person that was ordered and I know that my classy Jackie M. would have appreciated that so very much. Sherri even gave me some time to consult my sister as we were the ones with the plans for the flowers so that I could give her the go ahead. I just remember feeling pretty numb, absent, delayed, overwhelmed and just gutted from everything and Sherri was so understanding. Eventually the go ahead was given and Sherri was considerate enough to send me a photo of what the arrangement looked like before the day of the service. Though I was unable to attend the service, I was messaged by Sherri and told my flower arrangement had made it over. It was a real blessing to work with Gray's Flowers and I appreciate their work so much. Thank you Gray's Flowers. God Bless.

They did mini cheesecakes, lemon bars, and cookies - along with a small cake for us to cut :) It was perfect - they even decorated the table for us so it looked great! We added the s'mores bar which was a huge hit! We also had Quincy Cooking Cottage cater a breakfast for us the morning of the wedding - quiches, bagels, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, granola. She is absolutely a JOY to talk to, and she was extremely accommodating of our one-day turn-around for cake tastings. She works with her granddaughters, so it's really a family business. When she asked me the groom's name and I sheepishly said, "well, actually, it's another bride," she responded heartily saying, "that is absolutely always okay!" This coming from a lady who had to meet early to teach Sunday school. How awesome is that? We are not sure which bakery we are going to pick yet, but she was so nice it weighs heavily in their favor! Major bonus for being LGBTQ-friendly! :-)

She's been able to smooth out the different dye lines I created- even going above and beyond to cover the lighter root line. She's worked her magic on my hair color from vibrant red to dark auburn to happy new blonde highlights this visit. I'll be back to blonde in a few more sessions, which is incredible. My husband and I purchased a new wood stove from Quincy Hot Spot in October 2024. They measured…read moreincorrectly and as a result the stove was 2 inches too short. To make it functional, they placed the stove on bricks until a permanent solution could be obtained. The business clearly took responsibility for the mistake and said they would "make it right and we mistakenly took them at their word and paid them in full. Needless to say, out stove is still up on bricks and after contacting them countless times, we still have no resolution to problem. The owner, Chris even hung up on us. We have taken matters into our own hands and will be seeking restitution for our costs through the court system. Do yourself a favor and choose another company, they do not stand behind their work and customer service is non existent. If I could give them zero stars, I would.
