The food was amazing! And very reasonable. And the service was excellent. They make great sandwiches and pair them with the most amazing salads! Or, if you prefer, you can just get the salad. There were four of us for lunch, and we each got something different. I got the roast beef sandwich, and the spinach salad with it. It was SOOO good - and big enough that I took half home! My husband had the turkey sandwich and the Chinese chicken salad. We're going back next week, and the only problem is trying to figure out which delicious combination to try!

The menu was perfect. Everything tasted amazing. The girls were taught new ways to chop vegetables. But just having fun together was great outside of a holiday. I'll post the menu we had tonight, surprisingly for me, the orzo pasta primavera was amazing and the sheet pan with gnocchi and Italian sausage was probably a new favorite. I've never had sheet pan cake, I will definitely be making that again soon. Thanks to the staff for always being so friendly and helpful.

What a lovely find! I had never been to Genoa and it had been years since my husband visited so we…read moredecided to take a drive there when we were in the area. The town is absolutely charming but what caught my attention was Sierra Chef. We made our way to the door and I was immediately in heaven as we entered the building. The store was filled with amazing Italian food items including pastas, sauces, and cheeses. There were chef prepared dinners for you to order to take home. Italian pastries and gelato tempted us. I gave in and ordered a pistachio gelato which was divine. My husband ordered a cookie and espresso which he said was perfectly prepared. I wish we would have had more time at Sierra Chef because we would have ordered more food items to try. The next time we are in the area, we will be making a stop to pick up some tasty treats!

Sierra Chef - Made In Nevada [Genoa NV]…read more I followed the garlicky smell of the savory prosciutto flatbread and our noses led us here at this Italian bakery called Sierra Chef. The minute we walked inside the smell of baked pastries, cookies, and sweet & savory treats permeated the store. Ahhhh... Sierra Chef also offers cooking classes for adults and children in their commercial kitchen. Saw a few ladies behind the counter taking the class and having fun at the same time while I perused through the items offered... some fun handcrafted kitchen items laid out on the back table. We were just looking for dessert since we already had brunch across the street at the Flutter & Buzz Cafe. I asked for gelato and chose dark chocolate flavor. Waited while the employee went towards the back to scoop our ice creams. I had no idea how huge the servings were when she handed the cups to me. I should've just asked for one cup to share. It was delicious though. We sat and enjoyed them outside at their outdoor patio. The weather was beautiful and perfect for gelato. Mangia Bene! Review #3734

Chef Jonathan puts on a raucous, joke-filled (R-rated), cooking show with audience participation and brings along a wonderful cast of cooking teammates to make for a wonderful event! When we arrived at our friend's home, there were appetizers and drinks out. Chef Jonathan laid the ground rules for the live show, and then the jokes started. I'm sure he would use different one's if kids were present, but if you're over 18, all bets are off! LOL The live show had humor, great smells, drinks handed out, and tastings for the guests. He made food for vegetarians, lactose-free dishes, and all different types of food preferences...truly a remarkable feat. During the show, I learned a few things, laughed a lot, and was VERY entertained. The food was DEEELISH! There was plenty of food for everyone, and a lot of good times were had by all. With the holidays just around the corner, if you want to have a memorable dining experience for your friends and family, DEFINITELY call Reno Recipes to reserve a date!

I hired Tim to cater for my dads 80th bday last weekend. Tim worked with me through the entire process beginning to end, making things easier for me. He's so great at returning calls and e-mails. Showed up on time and KNOCKED IT OUT THE PARK!!! It's like I had two wizards in my kitchen that day! They made 4 delicious appetizers they had circulating for the first hour while guests were arriving. I'll include a picture of our entire menu at the end:) I did the seafood paella and the vegetarian one. Both were just phenomenal! Everyone was so wowed by the presentation, beautiful!! They helped with cake service, refilling waters and they cleaned up after themselves very thoroughly. I'm telling my friends and my neighbors, anyone that will listen that this duo is worth every penny! Thank you Chef Tim:)

Chef Tim was the highlight of our son's wedding/elopement celebration party that we had at our home. We had a meeting beforehand to discuss details and plans. This process enabled everything to be stress free. The party went perfectly and Chef Tim and his paella creation was a big topic of discussion among our guests. Everyone said it the best food they ever had at a party. He prepared two kinds (chicken and chorizo and a vegetable version) that were both absolutely divine. Each version of paella had perfectly combined flavors that created an extraordinary compilation in every bite. The guests could also watch him put it all together as all of the food was prepared on site on the day of the party! (Not brought in trays to be heated up!) Wow!!! The flavors were incredible, delicious and beyond words. Chef Tim is a true master chef and gem in our city and his kindness and caring, professionalism and talents and passion will be forever treasured by our family, as he made a very special event the best experience possible. Chef will always be our first choice from now on. We highly, highly recommend Chef Tim!

Be advised, the opening page of this site says "meet the chef", but you don't actually get Nick…read more"the chef" even after being convinced to pay $175 pp for a mexican food spread. Instead you may get a questionably trained chef who shows up late, forgot ingredients, didn't cook part of the menu and is a professional at reheating. Highlights of our overpriced meal included shrimp that was so rubbery we didn't know if it was shrimp, a sludge of mixed vegetables that were seemingly from a can, rice that was pre-made and reheated, corn overcooked, and steak that was like rubber and well done with no flavor. This professionally trained chef also shared that the salad dressing (the only edible portion of the meal) is easy to make, "just hidden valley ranch packet mixed with chipotle. The empanadas are also easy to make, just buy frozen pastry dough and put corn and meat in". Tortillas were out of a bag, and the guac and sour cream served out of paper bowls that we supplied. That price doesn't include plates or even a cocktail or wine? We requested a tres leche cake, which he pulled out of a box and told us he ordered from a bakery. Of course there is some value to this individual showing up, but frankly he should have been paid as a middle man, not a chef. Despite the horrific food, I was excited he agreed to do all the dishes until I opened the dishwasher the next morning only to find it has been run with no soap. The final icing on the cake was the knock on the door 10 minutes after he left to remind us we needed to tip him directly and not through the company or he doesn't see a dime of it, something seems weird there...??? I have never left a poor review on yelp before, but if there is ever one that is deserving of it this is it.
