Decor: -- Service: Soo good that another Flower Shop in the area recommended them because they were closer to Greenville. Noise: -- COVID-19 INFO: -- The truth is that I had no idea how Funeral Flowers or Sympathy Flowers worked and my sister helped me get the process started, along with Gray's Flowers--Having never been through this, I actually realized I was clueless to how a funeral works period. I knew you could order flowers but this was tough because the service was so far away from me and I was unfortunately unable to attend due to personal financial reasons I felt uncomfortable discussing. I needed so much help and I was alone and scared. I Googled around to see which Flower Shop was closest to Greenville Ca because that's where the service would be. Luckily, the business owner in Milwood Florist Weddings was kind enough to recommend Gray's Flowers that was closer. I went ahead and called Gray's Flowers and explained how I needed Funeral Flowers/ Sympathy Flowers for a specific church in Greenville, CA with the given budget of what I could spend. I did my best to not be chocked up on the line and Sherri was so incredibly kind because she said she knew these kinds of things are difficult. She even suggested matching the flower arrangement I was ordering to another standing flower arrangement by another person that was ordered and I know that my classy Jackie M. would have appreciated that so very much. Sherri even gave me some time to consult my sister as we were the ones with the plans for the flowers so that I could give her the go ahead. I just remember feeling pretty numb, absent, delayed, overwhelmed and just gutted from everything and Sherri was so understanding. Eventually the go ahead was given and Sherri was considerate enough to send me a photo of what the arrangement looked like before the day of the service. Though I was unable to attend the service, I was messaged by Sherri and told my flower arrangement had made it over. Oh my goodness, where do I begin? I got married on August 30th 2025 and worked with Pearl, I had no clue where to begin and honestly was extremely overwhelmed with wedding stuff. I showed her a few pictures of the 'wildflower vibes' I wanted and this woman exceeded my wildest dreams. I had no idea flower arrangements could be so intricate and mind blowing. My wedding bouquet was a gorgeous waterfall of the most exquisitely chosen flowers some of which I had never even heard of. Pearl took personal time out of her busy schedule to walk the venue with us and collaborate on our dream wedding flowers. If I could drive to Quincy right now and hug her, I would!!!! We got married at Twenty Mile House in May, and Sonia was fantastic all around. We gave her full creative control over the florals, and she did a wonderful job. The floral arrangements, boutonnieres, bouquets, etc. were beautiful. We got so many compliments on her work, especially on the flowers that decorated our arch. Communication was easy - we did most of it over email, and Sonia was happy to jump on the phone with us when we had specific questions. We got married at Twenty Mile House 2 weeks ago on 8/9/18 and Sonia did our flowers! We met her at the wedding fair TMH hosted in April and chatted about options. She was so open to any ideas we had, and really made us feel like we could do anything! We communicated via email for the rest of the planning process and she made it so easy! My boyfriend ordered me flowers to be delivered to my hotel while I was in Quincy working for two weeks. They left them on the table on my front porch for me (per my bf, she offered to deliver them on her way home so it wouldn't be as hot out which I thought was very nice). The arrangement is a beautiful purple/fall bouquet with some sort of red berries, fall colored leaves, dark and light purple roses, other flowers I don't know the names of, a fragrant plant (someone told me eucalyptus but I really have no idea)...it's just so beautiful my description does ZERO justice. It's been a week and I groomed them a bit today but they're still alive, gorgeous and smell amazing. Everyone who comes into the office comments on them, even men. The arrangement is just stunning. Employee named Pearl is clueless and rude. Looks to be about 17 and acts like she's 13yo brat child. Couldn't be any less helpful and couldn't be any less professional. Looks like she would rather be home playing video games. Foul mouth, bad attitude, rolled her eyes when I asked if there was anyone else who could assist me with buying plants for my garden. Rolled them again when I asked if I could speak to the manager. Manager wasn't much better. Guessing that the boss lady is the mother of the brat child and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Only ended up buying two plants. Got back home and started thinkin that the plants were more expensive than they should've been and looked at the receipt and saw that I had been charged for four plants. Went in the next day with my receipt to try to get a refund for the two plants that I didn't buy and the manager refused to give me a refund and accused me of trying to rip them off! She said that pearl is certain that I left with 4 plants. Pretty sure that pearl must have a garden of her own and not happy that I'm buying her plants for her garden. read more

Initially Gray's Flower Garden was great to work with and I am sad to report it ended up a nightmare. My husband and I used them for our wedding in July. We absolutely loved working with Sonia during the planning process... quick, easy and accommodating. It went downhill when Gray's setup the flowers the day before our wedding which we weren't comfortable with, but we decided to trust Sonia's word when she assured us she does it all the time... she's the professional, right? WRONG - common sense, they are flowers and they die! The day of our wedding we had dead flower arrangements. We tried to shake it off, but it was bothersome when our guests kept bringing it to our attention. Shame on us for thinking the flowers would be okay. A few weeks after our wedding we contacted Gray's thanking them and shared the bad news with photos. They were kind to offer us a reimbursement. We really appreciated it as we were bummed we had paid for dead flowers and it was nobody's fault but theirs. In August we followed up because we hadn't heard a word. They proceeded to tell us their account was overdrawn because a large amount had been accidentally debited which to us felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. Regardless of how we felt, we remained understanding and patient. It is now September and Gray's will not return our emails or calls. I am in the hospitality/event industry and hate to give anything but great reviews, however, I would HATE for this to happen to anyone else. Do not let them setup the day before your wedding... silliest idea ever. read more

Gray's Flower Garden did the most beautiful flowers for our wedding! My husband and I had very differing visions of what we wanted, and she was able to combine both to make stunning arrangements. We gave Sonia a lot of freedom to pick flowers within our color range and she did wonderfully. It was so nice not worrying about this part of the day. For our centerpieces, we had given her lanterns and light strings. I wish I could attach photos to this review to show how gorgeous they were in addition to all the other items she made like the bouquets and the lush trellis decoration for the ceremony. She was so easy to work with and we couldn't have been more happy! I will write one item that was a little disappointing to us - we had asked in advance for magnets for the grooms boutonnieres, which we thought she said she could do. However, they were attached by pins, no magnets. Still, that's just one tiny detail out of a beautifully done job! We would recommend using Gray's Flower Garden for your wedding! read more

I wanted specific flowers for our DIY wedding bouquets and table centerpieces. I had only communicated with Sonja at Gray's via email and the telephone, so I was a little anxious about the flowers not being exactly what I wanted when we picked them up the day before the wedding. There was no reason to worry, they were awesome! Vibrant and fresh and plenty of them- a great value for the money. Sonja doesn't check email very often, but don't let that discourage you.
