I stopped by this nail salon while visiting Lakeland. They had good reviews and decent prices; therefore, I figured 'why not.' Service was ok. I called 10 minutes prior to service and was seated right away. The service I received was a gel fill-in (nails) and polish change for my toes. They are obviously good at their jobs. My nails were shaped well, and service was quick. However, they could do better at ensuring full, effective service. For both my nails and toes, there's polish on my skin. A few more minutes of clean up to ensure customer satisfaction would have been nice. Also, they will charge for everything. I love love this nail salon! They hit all the markers .. beautifully decorated salon, friendly and good technicians, excellent service. I've been to those big meat market salon and this is definitely NOT that. I get pedicures with my dad and son and when I tell you it's a treat for us I mean it. My dad was having circulation problems and our nail tech Tia told us that lots of folks get pedicures for that very reason. If a customer walks in and you tell them there isn't a wait, don't sit them in a nail chair for 45 minutes. i asked for a full set as soon as i walked in and was told i would be helped right away and to sit down. i understand you did not want me to walk out or you were trying to keep a customer, but you lost a customer forever after the way i was just treated. while i was waiting i noticed that the people's nails around me were being rushed and they were also receiving poor customer service. i decided i would just get a simple manicure instead with a clear coat on top. but unfortunately this doesn't look good. i wasted my time and i didn't even get to get my full set. and i still payed $20!! if i could give 0 stars i would. very selfish :( read more

Unfortunatley, I had a poor experience at this nail salon. The nail technician was very friendly. I requested a manicure and pedicure. I was really disappointed that my manicure was poorly painted and flooded my nail beds onto my fingers. I asked the tech to make the correction but she smudged all my nails and removed nail polish from my nails as well. once I noticed the errors, I asked if I could be refunded since the quality of service was poor and was denied. I asked the tech just to remove the polish and I left. I left very frustrated that I was asked to pay and tip before the manicure and left the salon with no real manicure. read more

Beware!!! It was my first and only time I will go to this place. I took my 13 and 10 year old daughters for a girls spa day to Magnolia and I regret my decision to go here. I dropped $100 on all three of us for a 25min pedicure. My oldest and I both had a basic pedi ($30) it started out ok, when Peter my tech was using the purple pumice rock on my heel, I kept feeling it rub my ankle. He seemed to be in a rush to finish my pedi, so on my dry skin he rubbed the sandpaper like scrub on my legs. (Same thing happened to my daughter) That was very comfortable. Luckily, he only did it for like a minute and moved on. What I didn't notice until I got out of my car at my next stop is that the pumice rock had scratched up both of my ankles. My legs where very irritated. So I called the store and ask to speak to the Manager or owner. Donny said the owners where not there, but that he was the manager. I told him about my ankles and he asked me why I didn't tell the tech not to do it so hard. It wasn't about it being hard, my heels don't even look any different from when I went in, it was the fact that he was rough with the rock and scratch my ankles. I told him I wanted a refund and he said he would need to see the scratches. I drove right over because I was so upset about this situation. When I got to the salon, Donny proceeded to tell me that me that the scratches where old, or an allergy. I showed him a picture of proof that I took when I noticed the scratches, it was dated today. After that I told him to give me the refund and that I wanted the name of the owner. That's when he said he was the owner. So I called him out, he was calling me a lier yet he lied about who he was. They also tried to cover all this up and spoke to me outside of the store. Beware and stay clear of this place. They are dishonest, they cover up what they do and then blame the customer. read more

Disrespectful owner! I have been coming to this Salon for a long time loved their service. however yesterday I experienced total disrespect by the man that owns it!! I had an appointment at 12:30 for a full set he said I'm running alittle behind I said ok no problem and waited. I than see a walk in seated and being helped for nails. Right after that someone comes in for their 1pm appt and her and her daughter are seated and helped for their nails! I was pretty upset it's been about 40mins with no help and they had acknowledged me and knew I was waiting. I have been searching for a nail salon for 7 months or so. My daughter and I went to Magnolia the beginning of February and were so impressed with the kindness and friendliness. There was multiple conversations with all patrons from the techs and lots of laughter. The Spa is extremely clean and well maintained. I have since been back and was just as happy. My nails look exactly as I want them to. The job is professional. I really appreciate that when my appointment was scheduled I was taken at that time. I did not have to wait. Let the consumer beware!! If you go, be sure that you keep an eye on the price tag! I paid $237.80 for my daughter, my granddaughter (who is 4), and I for our nails. I was charged $63 for my granddaughter whose nails are about 1 cm each. The tech even charged an extra $15 for "small kid color change" even through my granddaughter did not have any nail color on when she arrived. I was charged an extra $8 for "skin cut" (cuticle care) which I always thought is standard for a manicure. The tech begged me to try the powder polish even after I told her I wanted gel color because it was faster. I finally agreed but the tech never told me it was an extra $42 for the powder polish. Plus, I was charged $17 for the gel polish anyway! And, to add insult to injury, I was actually charged $5.80 for a "convenience charge." Seriously?? The tech did an okay job - but not a $237 good job! I did not leave her a tip due to her nondisclosure of the extra costs she was charging me. The manager said she understood why I was upset but did nothing to rectify the situation. read more
