I unfortunately was diagnosed with cancer. As a result, my feet suffered horribly. Due the type of cancer I was diagnosed with, my feet were swollen and my toe nails discolored. As painful of just hearing the word "Cancer" is, it can just as emotionally painful. Needless to say, I went to Pretty Nails to find comfort by getting a pedicure. It brings to my eyes, to share the inhumanity I experienced. The young lady laughed and joked about my discomfort. She seemed to enjoy my awareness of her laughter and shared with others. I understand the design I wanted was confusing and eventually said it's alright to just do lines, but straight lines would have been nice. It was $100 for pedi and dip mani with design and definitely won't be coming back, it looks like I could have had my nephew do a cleaner job, and wouldn't have ended up with burning hands from all the cuts they gave me along the cuticles. Came here a few months back. Walked in without an appointment but there was no wait. There's your one star cause everything else was a disaster my nails were buffed and filed and had extensions glued almost right away. He asked me what color I wanted and I showed him a picture of what I wanted (which I had been waiting to show him from the beginning but didn't give me a chance because he was busy speaking to the other employees). I wanted a nude to glitter ombré design and he immediately shook his head no and said he couldn't do that. He explained he couldn't do it on an acrylic set because ombrés are only done with dip powder which I still think is dumb because if he had any artistic skill he could have used nail polish to achieve the same result on acrylic set. But now I have acrylic extensions on my nails and I'm limited to just getting gel polish. So I accepted my limited option and picked a color and asked if he could just do a French tip at least. Omg I should have just let my 5 year old paint my nails. Horrible job, horrible communication and to add insult to injury I actually paid $70+ for this. First impressions are important. First and last time I go to this nail salon. read more

Don't ask for a appointment they will give u a time and have u sit and wait a hour and half past your appointment time.

I've had my nails done twice here. My first experience was amazing the guy doing my nails did a great job. He followed all of my requests I didn't question me on what I wanted. I told him I wanted my nails short and that's exactly what he gave me. I will say is the best set of acrylics I have ever had. However, my experience yesterday with a different nail tech was a completely different experience. I made an appointment for myself and to my friends and I called ahead to get pricing because I don't have it posted anywhere. The owner answered the phone and answered most of my questions. So my friends and I showed up and two of us got pedicures and they both got natural manicures and I got a set of acrylics. In their natural miniatures turned out wonderful. In my experience with a pedicure however was completely different than my friends. I sat there with the same length of time and I got massaged for maybe 30 seconds where she had a massage for about 10 minutes. They never put a topcoat on my toes were they did on her's. I am most disappointed however with my acrylics. I told the guy (a different guy than my first trip) exactly what I wanted and I even showed him the picture. Now I got the correct coloring but my nails were awfully shaped. Originally I told him I wanted coffin and before he even started shaping my nails I change my mind and told him I wanted square nails. I ended up with coffin shaped nails. I told him I wanted them extremely short and he never checked with me on the length or shortened them when I asked. He kept trying to push an extra glitter topcoat on my nails after I already told him I wanted the mat. Then he proceeded to put a topcoat on again after I told him I wanted the mat. I ended up coming home with being out my own nail file reshaping my nails by shortening them and sanding off all of the shiny topcoat that he put on after I told him several times that I did not want a top coat. My first experience there my nail tech was friendly and talked to me and made sure that he knew what I wanted, this guy however could you stop talking to the other nail techs and said maybe 10 words to me. I shouldn't have to come home and we shape my own nails and I should be able to communicate and ask and get what I want when I go and pay $45 for set of acrylics and $25 for a basic pedicure. If you do decide to go hear your acrylics will stay on that they do a nice job on however be careful with making sure your nail tech knows exactly what you want. I should have gotten the owner. read more

Prices are reasonable. I went for a pedicure, ended up adding a mana cure and my eyebrows waxed. Nothing was disappointing. read more

I brought my 2 kids and myself to this place. when we get there I told them my daughter can have what ever she wants. they proceed to tell her What she wanted and gave her what they wanted when I told them she wanted long nails like she asked they confronted my underage daughter like she was an adult. then my son was there to do a manicure and they put him in a chair next to me and after a while told my son to get out of her station and move. as if they were just hanging out there, as if they were not customers!!! bad service makes a world of a difference we will NOT be SPENDING OUR MONEY HERE EVER AGAIN read more

I had an appointment there yesterday at 10. My pedicure was lovely. I chose the spa pedicure which included 3 different foot and leg massages. Lovely and relaxing. I'm giving a 3* because the manicurist cut me twice with the file and drew blood. The first two fingers she touched, so my relaxed mood was gone and I was very tense and nervous. No discount given. I love this place! The family that runs it is so sweet, they do a great job, it's really clean and organized. My mom and sister also get their nails done here. I bring my daughter and niece almost every time I come (they are 2 and 4) and they are awesome with the kids. They don't have the kids chairs but they make it work in the adult chairs and are so sweet with them it's just not a deterrent. They always offer drinks which is a nice touch. Never any pressure about what you want done. I haven't been anywhere else since I started coming here a few months ago. read more
