We came on a Saturday and I really wanted to try the bakery, but the line was a mile long, so this was the next best thing. There was practically no wait! I got a warm apple crunch cinnamon roll ($4ish). YUM! It hit the spot when magnolia bakery cookies could not! I enjoyed the traditional cinnamon roll flavors paired with apple and little bits of crunch on top. The crunchy part on top added really nice texture! The prices for coffee and baked goods were surprisingly normal. The coffee shop was very spacious and had lots of outdoor seating. First time visiting! We went around 5pm and I got the iced lavender vanilla latte. It was delicious! Cameron (or Kameron) the manager was very helpful! I bought a coffee cup and it's suppose to come with a 12 oz free latte but the cashier originally did not do that. So Cameron refunded my drink for me. Very sweet and helpful. I stopped by Magnolia Press because I couldn't drive all the way up from Dallas and not get a cup of Jo. See what I did there? ha! I ordered an iced pumpkin spiced latte to go, and to be honest, I was bummed that I wasn't crazy about it. I will say, however, it was my first time trying a pumpkin spiced latte. Sooo maybe I'm just not a fan of the drink in general. The staff was super nice. The decor was adorable and I like the still water and sparkling water dispenser. They had some wonderful sounding pastries on the menu, and also a refrigerated area for bottled water and quick snacks and pre-packaged lunches. They also had a little section with merchandise and souvenirs for sale. I wish I would have taken a photo of the waiting area seats, but I was in them and then when I got out of them, people were in them, and I didn't wanna weird them out. Cute seats, guys. Reminds me of those wooden seats you'd find in an old theatre. You know, the ones that bounce back up when you stand. Can you imagine? Any way, that was that. We came here after lunch on a Friday and was happy to not see a big line - I guess everyone had their coffee fix in the morning. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting, the kind of place you would want to hang out and chat with friends (wish we had stayed and enjoyed it instead of immediately walking into the shops portion of the Silos). I really like the set up of the café. It's spacious with a lot of study spots. Kind staff! I tried their signature 1905, iced. It's supposed to have touches of toasted marshmallow and vanilla. I didn't get much of that marshmallow flavor that I was hoping, but it was still good! Their coffee is strong, yet smooth. I also got their cranberry green tea, I appreciated the real cranberries it had, and it basically tasted like cranberry concentrate with a hint of green tea. I order wayyyy too much which included a long list; iced vanilla latte (with sugar free vanilla and coconut milk) no extra charge, 2 blueberry cinnamon rolls, and chocolate cake "something" and two ($2 each) Magnolia tin bottled water 16oz. So first of all- if you see a long line- don't worry, they move fast!!!! Went there for house cold brew but my friend said I should get the cinnamon roll and got warmed. This is apple pie cinnamon roll and wow!!!! It's homemade- sweet but not too sweet like regular places. It's more bread with apple pie stuffing in between and it's exquisite. I love traveling across country and trying new bakery places but I have never tried such amazing cinnamon!! I was already full from 1/2 pound burger before coming here so I made more room when I took the first bite. I almost went back to get another one before I leave this beautiful state. Besides this being part of the booming Magnolia group, as far as coffee shops go in general, this is a great one! The cafe was nice and big and very clean. It would be a great place to study or just catch up with friends. What I ordered: - The 1905 specialty latte made with oat milk: it was better than I expected. Had a tiny bit of sweetness but nothing overpowering. - The blueberry lemon roll: do yourself a favor and GET THIS. It was amazing and if I could make these as good as this one was I would gain 50lbs quickly. Price-wise I would say this is pretty on-par with any trendy coffee shop. Is it cheap? no. Is it more expensive than other coffee shops these days? also no. If I lived closer I would be a regular here, so if you're in the area definitely stop by! read more

Just make sure you tell them you need the coffee same day. Came on a slow day and it still took 17 minutes to make an iced latte. We made this one of our rest stops in a road trip between Austin and Saint Louis. It was our fav, so we returned a second time on our way back. It was perfect! Coffee was excellent, service was great, and the ambience was exceptional for the whole family. Aside from the delicious cold brew, we ordered the mini donuts and almond croissant, so delicious, its memorable. The bathrooms, counters and sitting down areas are Very clean. Was expecting a crowd due to the big magnolia fans which I'm personally not just being in this town i wanted to try it out. The bathrooms are very clean and even have baby changing pads available once you become a mom i find it funny how you begin to notice these things because it really does make a huge difference. Anyways employees working were super friendly. The house drip coffee was delicious. If you prefer a lot of creamer ask or else they won't give you much. I got the chocolate croissant which wasn't listed on their online menu but as of December 2020 they had it in their case and it was delicious i ate the entire thing in probably three bites. My husband got the coffee cake muffin which actually after trying his muffin I'd probably get that because it was just as good if not better. Everything was moist and super duper fresh! Highly overrated product and not worth the price. We ordered 2 large 1905, a lemon blueberry cinnamon roll And the egg bites. The coffee was overpoweringly sweet and coffee grinds in the bottom of our drinks. We couldn't even finish them. The cinnamon roll was just ok seemed like something I could get from Walmart for $1 not 4.50. Very doughy. This is an instagrammable coffee shop for sure! My husband and I spent 5 hours in the Silos District, and came here to grab some coffee. The line here fluctuates throughout the day, so avoid coming here during the morning time as it get super busy, but swing by in the afternoon for a faster wait time. The menu here is super simplistic and to the point. They also have a variety of pastries, merchandise, and souviniers you can purchase. The shop is spacious has both indoor and outdoor seating. I ended up getting a limited time coffee it was the snickerdoodle ice latte, it was good you can't really taste the snickerdoodle flavor I started tasting it towards the end when I was finishing up the coffee. I would probably ask for more of the snickerdoodle flavor to be added if you really wanna taste that sweetness. Overall, I enjoyed my visit. I would visit again soon. read more
