This coffee shop stop is a must when we travel from Dallas to San Antonio! We tried two drinks from their seasonal menu the pumpkin spice latte and brown sugar latte both iced and they were great! The price is great and I love the ambience in the shop, there is always plenty of seating and there was a bathroom right next to coffee shop with changing tables perfect if you have kids. The service is always fast and friendly and they give great recommendations. Definitely a great place to grab some coffee if you are visiting the magnolia market!
We came strolling in for a drink... very limited cold drinks.. two choices. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte. Not a fan of matcha but figured strawberry sounded interesting. Wrong. If you're not a fan of matcha, no other flavor will make up for the drink. I took a few sips and couldn't finish. The barista said it was popular... It's a clean and spacious coffee / pastry shop. There's some gift items in here too. Bathroom is clean and well kept.
Cute coffeeshop at Magnolia Silos! A great place to hang out with friends or just buy coffee and head over to the lawn or walk around. I ordered the 1905 which was very good and it came out very fast. The tables were slightly dirty but what can you expect.
When in Texas . . made the short little drive from San Antonio to visit Waco & see what the Magnolia Market is all about. Started the Magnolia trip with a stop for a latte! I was a little sad they didn't have lavender syrup, but I still enjoyed a delicious caramel latte! The pastries looked delicious but I didn't try any this time. I'd say this is a must visit if you're in the area!
Walking in I found a clear line for ordering that took me by a lot of merch. I also quickly noticed how the shop felt nice and open. The employees were cheerful, but not so much as to be annoying at 7:00 am! I greatly appreciated that! Even though there was a big group in front of me, my wait for my drink wasn't very long. I was pleasantly surprised. My iced cranberry tea was nice, tart and refreshing. I found it to be a very unique drink offering! I spoke to a group waiting for their drinks and was told that they work nearby and come by everyday. They love this coffee house. That's a great recommendation! If I ever return to this area again, I will return to this coffee shop.
Omg! This place! From the decor, to the outstanding service , to our delicious latte! This is the whole package. Cute little seating areas from more intimate booths to a study style library desk benches . Our 1905 iced coffee house brew was perfect! Had a great balance of sweetness while still being able to taste the coffee.
Easy parking Greeted when we walked in, wait wasn't long. Peach Matcha with Oatmilk was amazing! Plenty of seating.
This place is absolutely stunning and cute. You could work here for hours and it is such a nice atmosphere, much like everything in the Silos. Prices were typical of a coffee shop and the coffee was good. We got a latte and cold brew (strong!). The girls that work there are super sweet and service was fast.
I happened to be in Plano over the weekend for a conference so since I came this far, I hopped on a bus to Waco, scheduled myself less than 24 hours in Waco, and here is one of my #MagnoliaMonday stops. I was actually glad that I got to see everything just a few days before #Silobration. But mark my words, I plan to go back one day for the full event! I had one goal for stopping in here, I wanted to sip on their 1905 latte while journaling in my notebook. I was excited to try this as a special treat. It is way more decadent than I normally order in a latte. Overall, I was really pleasantly surprised because I thought it could possibly be too sweet and rich but the flavors balanced out so you do feel that it is a richer latte, but not overly sweet. I really enjoy the seating that they have available. The wood booths with the luxurious dark green walls invite friends to linger. Since I was by myself and planning to stay for a while and journal read, I went to the long open community tables. But there are comfy couches and there are also tables with stools right up against the window. Whatever it is, you feel like you want to go with your coffee, they have it. Again, I'm going to have to save a lot more money when I come back for a longer trip because there are so many little mementos that I wanted to pick up. Will also have to make sure I have an extra suitcase in a backpack and could not purchase any fun stuff. I love also that this store opens right up into the large home store next-door so you can wander through. Be back soon!
Located at the Magnolia Silos. Its been a dream to visit and it did not disappoint. The rustic and beautifully curated by the Gaines. Service was quick and efficient. Very spacious. The coffee was what I needed from a long drive. It really hit the spot. They also had parfaits that much son enjoyed. If youre visiting Waco, this is a must stop to get your caffeine fix.
Coffee shop and light bites. Great interior, clean and comfortable. Service was a little slow, but friendly. It appeared they were under staffed based on the number of customers and it kept getting busier.
Good coffee, I had the latte, The croissant cheddar & pepper muffin was really good, and they heat it up in an oven. Nothing better than hot fresh pastries! The line moves relatively fast, so don't be discouraged.
The store is so cute and homely, and I wouldn't expect anything less from Joanna! The staff were friendly and very helpful (pro tip: if you buy a mug you get a free latte! And you can buy more than one mug in a transaction to get your free lattes). I initially wanted to order the matcha, but decided against it as the matcha isn't ceremonial-grade in quality. I ordered the pumpkin spice and it was very good, but nothing really stood out to me as far as flavor. Definitely a great coffee shop if you're in the area, or visiting for the shops!

Ordering matchas at coffee shops can be a hit or miss. The matcha here is amazing and one of the best I've had. For tea lovers, this spot is a must! My friend got an iced chai and he loved his too. I'll have to come back some time and try the food and coffee. The service was fast and the ambiance was nice. read more

Stopped by this coffee shop on the way to Dallas and I was so pleasantly surprised by the market area this shop was in. It was the cutest little area and I really wanted to browse the home decor store connected to the coffee shop, but it wasn't open yet so I'll have to come back. The Magnolia Press' interior was clean and aesthetic and the employees were helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed my iced 1905 latte here on the magnolia campus! Service was friendly and patient as I went back in forth on what I wanted to indulge in. The only downfall was purchasable beans only came grounded and not whole. read more
Great coffee shop on the Magnolia campus. Plenty of seating and plugs to work/study. The coffee was good and there are pastries available (I didn't try the pastry)The best part is that it is connected to the Magnolia Home store so you can take a break from your work/study and look around the home furnishings in Magnolia Home. read more

I don't recognize the "new" downtown Waco! The Magnolia silos complex is a shrine to Chip & Joanna Gaines media empire. You can park in a good size parking lot for a fee, or take your chances with street parking... I ended up parking about 3 blocks away and walking over. The streets are full of tourists with their phones out snapping photos. Large signs with QR codes adorn several of the downtown homes that have at one point received the Joanna touch. The coffee shop is attached to a Magnolia furniture store. The place is ubiquitously well-staffed. Armed security patrols in front. The bathrooms are down the hall from the attached furniture store. They are large, very clean, beautifully designed with silver and white stamped tin ceilings and subway tile. The coffee shop was full of young ladies from the neighboring private school and elderly white women with money to spend. I got an overpriced protein box - $8 for almonds, green grapes, cheese cubes and a boiled egg. I also ordered a "1905" which is essentially a s'mores flavored latte with an extra smoky flavor. Most of the comfy sofas were taken, but I managed to snag one of the seats at the bar-height seating by the front window. Free Wi-Fi made this an ideal spot to get out my laptop and get a little work done. This was an interesting experience, although I'm not sure it's one that I would repeat. read more

Great coffee shop in Waco! It has everything you could look for in a coffee shop -- great coffee, beautiful ambience, walkable parking options -- i would highly recommend you give this spot a try! If you're coming to Waco, you've probably heard of the Magnolia Table (this is different, if you go to both I would recommend skipping the coffee at Magnolia Table and heading to Magnolia Press for your morning brew). Magnolia Press is located right by the Silos and there is plenty to do here from sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful weather to popping in and out of the cute boutiques surrounding the Silos. At Magnolia Press there are multiple seating options both inside and outside and plenty of tables for larger groups. As for the coffee, we tried The 1905 Latte iced and the seasonal Blueberry Matcha Latte iced. Both were absolutely wonderful! The 1905 Latte is made with a special housemade toasted marshmallow and vanilla syrup. It was not overly sweet and offered a unique twist on a latte. If you're looking for something more different and enjoy matcha, I would highly recommend the Blueberry Matcha. You can taste the real fresh blueberries (rather than a syrupy taste). Paired with matcha, this is a refreshing beverage for a warm day! If you're heading to Waco, don't skip out on this coffee shop! So many great options to try. read more

Magnolia Press is a beautiful coffee shop in the Silos District of Waco. Well known for being owned by local celebrities, Chip & Joanna Gaines, this spot is poppin' with tourists and people who love Magnolia. I visited here for the first time last weekend and absolutely loved it! The frozen latte was super yummy! Tasted almost like a milkshake but much better! There are a bunch of other coffees and teas on the menu such as matcha, mocha, lattes and more. There are seasonal offerings as well... which right now would be their blueberry coffees and teas for spring. If you're thirsty for some water, there's a tap with sparking or still. The coffee shop is pretty big! There are a bunch of tables and chairs inside to enjoy your coffee at or you can go outside as well. I would recommend this place to other people. read more
What to do when visiting from out of town in Waco. I guess you go to Magnolia's. We are from a tropical climate visiting in December for a graduation and wanted to warm-up to some delicious espresso. Luckily this place offered what we needed. Unfortunately, I'm stuck at giving this place a lower or higher review. Partly because I believe it was my mistake in ordering a cappuccino versus a latte. I vaguely remember the coffee tasting good, however, I remember thinking the cup felt very light (in weight). I go on and drink and finish it rather quickly. I open the lid to find a LOT of milk foam still in the cup. At that point, I was disappointed I made the mistake of ordering a cappuccino versus a latte. I'm not sure if their portion were accurate, because I know a cappuccino is typically a 1:1:1 ratio, but whatever. I still regretted spending $5+ on this coffee. As for their interior, it's extremely cute and I can see it being a great place to study/work. Maybe next time? Probably not. read more

The atmosphere was great and overall it was a fun little area to be in for the day! In regard to Magnolia Press as a study spot there are some pros and some cons... Pros: just a short walk away from some delicious food trucks to keep your brain going while studying, coffees good, a warm and welcoming vibe Cons: kind of loud inside, there's a lot going on so if you get easily distracted I wouldn't come here, very limited seating (you will likely be at a table surrounded by other people at very close proximity) read more
I always love to stop by Magnolia Press whenever I visit Waco. It's a super aesthetic spot that would probably be great to get some work done at. And the drinks are pretty good! I'm a big fan of the seasonal apple cider. They also have sparkling water on tap which is really nice since these drinks always leave me wanting some water. The apple pie cinnamon roll is also a favorite and the coffee cake is perfect for breakfast. But I wasn't the biggest fan of the chocolate cake. It has this white cream in the middle that's too sweet for my liking and it kind of reminds me of Little Debbie's. However if you like Little Debbie's, you will probably love the cake! read more

Service was the best out of all their food shops (minus the trucks) I got the 1905? Latte. It was on the sweeter side for my taste if I go again I would get 3/4 or 1/2 sweetness Lots of seating and people were studying in those areas so it may be hard to find seating at times. But the line goes fast for coffee We didn't try any pastries from there although they did look good! read more
I absolutely love getting coffee from here when visiting the Silos! This time I ordered the frozen coffee and bought a bottle of the syrup the shop uses. It isn't too sweet and the perfect coffee drink in the hot weather. It makes for the perfect treat when walking around the shops!! read more

Everything about the Magnolia Silos is so cute but this coffee shop was top notch. The line was crazy long but it moved relatively quickly and even food/drinks came out quick. I had pumpkin donut holes and a fall themed cold brew which was all delish read more

Absolutely loved my visit to Magnolia Press! We came here twice because it was so good! This coffee shop is absolutely gorgeous, every detail feels warm and inviting and there is plenty of seating. The iced cinnamon latte was perfection and I wish I could go here every day. The staff were so hospitable and welcoming and my coffee came out super fast. My new favorite coffee shop, highly recommend! read more
MAGNOLIA PRESS COFFEE is the resident coffee shop at the SILOS. Though distinctly different from the other buildings in the SILO, it still followed the esthetic of the entire compound. The baristas are super friendly. The drinks are easy to drink - light and refreshing, perfect for the hot Texas summers. The cafe is adjoined with one of the furniture shops - fantastic, because I got thirsty walking around. Their indoor dining area is also perfect for studying - they even have desk lamps for your convenience. They also have a take-out window for quick orders on the opposite side of the main entrance. There are so many places to take your coffee and enjoy it in this compound. Why, just a few steps from the take-out window, there is a patio set up with an outdoor fireplace. Or you could just take it with you while go go browse in the outdoor shops. read more

We spent the day in Waco and started our day off with some coffee. I ordered the frozen latte and it was delicious and perfect for a hot day! My husband ordered the drip coffee with the Texas Pecan flavor. He loved the flavor as the pecan really gave it a nice accent. I did not taste it, however you could smell the pecan and it smelt very lovely. Forgot to take pictures of these drinks. Before our return trip to the hotel we decided to stop back and get a drink for the road and we both ordered their Iced Peach Green Tea and that was the best peach tea I have ever had. It absolutely hit the spot as it was well above 100 as we were leaving. Loved that they had actual peaches in the drink as it was a nice little treat when your drink was finished. Every time we walked in the the building there was a line of 7-10 people ahead of us with people waiting for their drinks but even with other costumers we never waited more than 3-5 minutes for our drinks. They were very efficient with their service. They have many drink options so there is something for everyone! read more

I got a regular matcha with oat milk, and honestly it wasn't the best. I didn't taste the normally earthy taste that good matcha contains. It tasted like flavored milk instead of matcha and milk. But the pastries were delicious! And I enjoyed the ambiance inside and out. read more

THE VIBES!! Go for the atmosphere. Stay for the friendly staff and the delicious menu. The chai is light and refreshing. And the matcha is very matcha-y (only order if you love matcha). Obsessed with the branding. Such a cute spot. And gotta go get a lemon lavender cupcake from the bakery next door. read more

The space is beautiful and I loved my visit. I got the matcha strawberry and honestly I wasn't a huge fan. The matcha was bland and the strawberry part was too sweet for me. I did try my husband's coffee and it was very good. I definitely wished I had stuck with my original coffee choice vs deciding to try something new. read more

Impressed by Magnolia Press! I got the 1905 with oat milk and it was lightly sweetened by the toasted marshmallow and vanilla syrup. Wasn't overpowering at all, it was a perfect latte pairing. I also got the lemon blueberry roll, which was a little sweeter than expected with the lemon glaze, but was soft and delicious. The service was great! The staff were friendly, inviting, and helpful. Which matches the welcoming atmosphere inside and out. It was nice seeing tourists and locals intermingle here, which tells you it's good. Definitely recommend this place for your coffee needs! read more

This place was okay, wasn't worth the wait personally and that's okay. Their coffee tasted a little burnt or stale to me. Prices were about average, especially compared to Starbucks. We didn't get any baked goods but the people sitting next to us did and they ended up throwing away most of their food items, they said it was super dry and old. We waited 25 mins to get in so of course that made me a little disappointed with how the quality was, especially since all the food we've had here was amazing. I'd skip this and wait in line elsewhere. read more

Stopped by for a day trip to Waco from Austin. Our first stop was Magnolia Press in order to get some caffeine in us for the long day ahead. I got the 1905, it was a pretty creative drink. It also wasn't overly sweet. The surprise to me was the Lemon Blueberry Roll. It seemed like they were baked fresh and had a perfect combination of lemon and blueberry flavors that worked well together. The wife decided to get a Spinach Artichoke Croissant and it was pretty flaky and tasty as well. I would advise that you don't pass up on the baked pastries, everything we tasted was pretty good. Definitely loved the decor and felt like it was a nice place to study or get some work done. read more

It has been a dream of mine to visit the silos. I landed in Waco at 12 am. I woke up bright and early and walked to magnolia press. The interior design is stunning. It reminded me of a library from the 60s or 70s. The cafe is spacious with lots of seating, booths and long tables for group study.. or to hang out with friends and family. Tip: to those flying into Waco, schedule a ride ahead of time. I thought Uber would be available and there was none. I hired a private driver and it costed $50 for a ride to my hotel which was 5 miles away. read more
We came on a Saturday and I really wanted to try the bakery, but the line was a mile long, so this was the next best thing. There was practically no wait! I got a warm apple crunch cinnamon roll ($4ish). YUM! It hit the spot when magnolia bakery cookies could not! I enjoyed the traditional cinnamon roll flavors paired with apple and little bits of crunch on top. The crunchy part on top added really nice texture! The prices for coffee and baked goods were surprisingly normal. The coffee shop was very spacious and had lots of outdoor seating. If lines are too long elsewhere and you are impatient like me, this is a solid option! read more
I sat outside under the gazebo drinking my lavender frozen latte in the middle of a gully washer and it was perfection! The frozen latte was a delicious refreshing treat and you can't go wrong with lavender if you like the floral infused coffee creations! read more
