But I'm telling you...this place is worth it. It's huge and quite literally, they have anything and everything you could ever want for your garden. Also, unlike every other garden shop in the area, they still are stocked with flowers even after the Fourth of July. All the women who work there are incredibly friendly and helpful. They will help you pick out the flowers that grow best together, look best together, and then show you how to arrange them to make them grow to their full potential. they also have their own specialty baskets that they put together in the shop. Though they are a wee bit pricey, I can only imagine it would cost as much if you went around and picked each flower and plant you wanted individually and put it together at home. Also, they have these awesome things called the "downunder basket." Supposedly, they are the only people in St. Louis to make them and they are basically an upside down plant. It's really cool and an original gift if you are looking to bring something of this type as a hostess gift. They also have quite a collection of fountains and other yard ornaments if you are into that sort of thing as well. So...if you are as disappointed with the assortment of flowers in most of the garden shops around town, it may be worth hauling it out to Wildwood. I certainly thought so.

The flowers were delivered but they missed the second arrangement for the podium. My dad was already upset considering the event so I tried to call the florist to inquire. It was a Sunday and the shop was closed. We had to display a different arrangement that was sent by family friends but it didn't match what we ordered. In general, the flowers arrangements were pretty but the quality of flowers were just ok and they weren't as full as expected. We also noticed some were already brown on the edges at the wake-day of delivery. I feel like they didn't use the freshest flowers. The arrangement on the tripod was much smaller than displayed in the photo book and had lots of welted flowers. We also paid $215 for that arrangement and it wasn't nearly as full as the picture in the book they showed us. Overall, disappointed. I did reach out on Monday and the shop employee was apologetic and issued a partial refund to my dad for the missing arrangement. Not happy that we had to reach out, instead of the shop, to inquire about our missing flower order. Not sure if adding to the order caused confusion. Wasn't given any type of reason but also didn't care by that point.

I stopped a minute to make sure I heard this and yes, she repeated it again. I replied, I can get another florist who will. Hmmmm, I am use to working with florists around the country and they are most helpful and ready to suggest. They had a recording when I called that prompted me to ask about the daily special. I wound up ordering the special after Will walked me through all the options he had available. Will was confident that he would make the same day delivery as I only had a four hour window of when the recipient would be at the delivery location. Will also helped me craft a message that was worthy to put on the card, after I spewed a line of garbage out and in his words "was really sucky!" The price was what I expected for roses and was comparable to what was posted online for other florists. After speaking to the shop attendee I was assured the order would be delivered placed the order online. I called back mid day to ensure the order had been processed and out for delivery. She kindly checked and assured me it was in route and would arrive within 45 minutes. Needless to say the flowers never showed up. I called and cancelled the order as my plans were totally ruined despite my efforts to follow up, provide specific instructions and be a part of a solution to ensure they were delivered in the event of unforeseen circumstances. The shop informed me I would not be billed. The next day I realized I was not only charged for the flowers but the flowers had been delivered at my neighbors house. I called confirmed that she understood to cancel the order and was assured a refund would occur. After 4 days I received no refund. I called the shop again and was told the refund would occur when the owner returns Tuesday. Since that day I have followed up left a message no call back, no voicemails left for me and no refund. Maybe isolated but never again would I trust them for any services. I've directed all close colleagues looking to order flowers, go elsewhere. Terrible experience.
