In my opinion, they half step on these vehicles that people bring in to have washed/detailed. When I get my vehicle back, I end up going back over it, and finding scratches that I know was not on it before taking it to them. My rear view mirror was still dirty afterwards. The quality for me has gone down hill. Not to mention the guy at the register doesn't even ask you if you want the complimentary air freshener anymore, I always have to tell him which fragrance I want. Went to get a good wash.. paid for the $22 VIP (i think). The vacuum was done and it was not a good job, so i asked the guy could i get it redone and e said yes. In the process of taking my car back to get vacuum i noticed that my change ($3or more) was gone. So i went back in the inside to let the lady know someone took my change out of my car. Going back to my car one guy with 1 arm had my phone and another one had my debit card. They were in my car messing looking for the coins that the guy done put in his pocket, that were not in my car. Finally treated my car to a full service car wash. Came all the way to Silas Creek area since there are not that many full service car washes in Winston. A nice lady had me pull car up to vacuum area and helped me pick a car wash option. I opted for the $22 wash and vacuum with car scent. They did a very good job. Not all the dog hair was lifted in the back seat but my dog sheds a lot so I excused that. I also did NOT smell a scent that I paid to be added. So 4 Stars for that but overall I was happy and would come back. read more

It's nothing like paying to have your car washed and then return home to rewash it. The skip over or have complete the services you pay for. I purchased the executive wash they didn't vacuum the inside of my car, left shine spray residue, didn't shine tires, half wiped inside and windows. I went to get my car washed today. I usually get the VIP wash. I got in line. I was behind a white mercedes. Next thing I know about 4 cars come out before mine. There was a worker back there directing the flow of cars and she made up some excuse as to why mine had not come out. I told the manager about it but he didn't seem to care. I've been here before sitting inside waiting and when my car was ready the manager didn't say anything to let me know. I don't like the attitude. Nobody cares about their job anymore. read more

I've heard lots of good things about Magnum so finally decided to give them a try. The prices are great. They do not offer steaming on the weekend and it's also a longer service. I decided to get the VIP wash since I didn't need my trunk vacuumed. The services were great and fast but they broke my car's antenna. When I brought it to their attention they said it's because of the heat damage. I've gotten my cat wash several times even at cheap gas station drive throughs and it was never damaged. I still filled out an incident report so waiting to hear back and will update my review but it doesn't seem likely that they will do anything. read more

Car I've had less than 6 months came out of car wash with a cracked windshield that I noticed when I got in to leave. Employees said I brought it in that way & people blame them. After reviewing cameras, Carla, manager stated something hit my car before I brought in & cold water from wash caused it to crack. read more

I've been using Magnum for over 20 years. Even their "Basic" wash includes interior cleaning and basic detailing at a reasonable price.

First I'd like to say that my car is super clean and that's why i give 3 stars. However, when you drive up, you have to choose a lane. As it, is it's a crapshoot. Suggestion: ask your coworkers which car has been waiting the longest and take them in a somewhat fair manner/way. Next is the courtesy of the people drying your car. I stopped at this car wash as I was near by. It was super busy but that did not mean I got rushed service. Every corner of my car was spotless. I got the VIP package for $19.99 and needed my front two mats washed from all the muddy weather lately which was an additional $1.00 per mat. Mats were completely washed like new. It definitely was worth the wait. Air fresheners and other accessories are inside by the registered. A bit over priced but convenient since I didn't have to go somewhere else to purchase my usual Yankee candle car freshener. Will be bring my car here on a normal bases now. I have been here a few times, this last time I needed a car wash after a road trip. Said I wanted to do the VIP cleaning service and get my floor mats cleaned as well, as apparently that didn't come with. I had a minor stain on the backseat that I thought they would clean, turns out that didn't come with either. After getting my car back I noticed the floor mats were not cleaned, well they vacuumed them, but no washing/scrubbing. I usually tip well when i go to car washes and I did this time too, but when i got home i regretted that decision. So many spots left untouched inside the car made me regret spending the money I did. I ended up getting a cloth and doing some touch-ups when i got home and cleaning the seat and washing the rubber floor mats. They did a good job on the exterior of the car which is why they got 2 stars. Bottom line, come here for an exterior car wash, don't expect much from interior. read more

The young woman at the desk was awesome to talk to but I wouldn't bother with much more than an exterior wash. Vacuuming was subpar and I had to come home and clean my wheels, exterior trim, rear view mirror, and vacuum the interior again after paying $28 for the wash including tips to the front end guy and the guy drying and supposedly doing the wheels and tires. We stopped in on Monday, Oct. 12th. We needed our 2008 Corvette cleaned, and this is the place we usually take all our cars, have for years. In the past they have always done a good job for the most part. This car has to be hand washed due to the fact that it is low to the ground, and too low to go thru the automated car wash, paid the 10.00 extra for the hand wash, paid for the VIP wash. When it was finished, the guy was given a tip, but upon inspecting the car, the wheels were still dirty. We were able to wipe our fingers across the chrome, and the dirt came off. This was brought to the attendant's attention, and he sprayed a blue spray, and barely wiped it off, saying it was rust. Rust does not wipe off with your fingers. He was shown this and just shook his head. The clerk was notified, and she took a picture, and gave me the owner's number. I left very dissatisfied, not only from the bad job, but also the bad customer service. I immediately called the owner and left a message on her voice mail. After a day and a half passed, she finally returned my phone call. I was given an apology but was told that "I got what I paid for", that I did not order a "wheel detail", and was matter of a fact about it, even though I have been a customer for years, have 4 cars we take there, and also have family and friends who give them business. I believe when you pay to have a car washed, it should be clean, the WHOLE car. I "paid" to have the whole car washed, not half of it. I sprayed a wheel cleaner I purchased today, and the dirt came right off with no wiping. Needless to say, I will not be back, nor will any of my family or friends, she seemed unaffected by the loss of business. read more

It was towel dried off, windows and inside cleaned, and I got an air freshener for the inside. This was a great experience and I'll definitely recommend this spot to friends! read more

Went for a quick basic wash. They were extremely busy. Barely vacuumed the car, just dragged the hose through quickly. Car went through wash and sat there, by the time they got to it to dry it off the car was already dry. So of course there were water marks all over the car and it didn't even look vacuumed. 1 basic wash took an 1 1/2 and I ended up having to treasury and vacuum the car myself. read more

My wheels were not cleaned and my doors were left open while it was POURING rain. Not too pleased about the inside of my car being soaked.

I continue to give this place try after try... Only to be disappointed every time. It is now 11:35 am and I was the 3rd car in line BEFORE they OPENED @ 11:00 AM. They are just now vacuuming. When I inquired at the front desk why there seemed to only be 3 people working, she said "I don't know. I'm only the cashier". Maybe the nature of the business, but if you aren't staffing adequately or you have employees not showing up... Maybe you need to make changes. I have been here many times (years) and have noticed the service gets worse over time. The last time was awful. I waited 3 weeks to review so it would not be in a moment of frustration. Paid for VIP, got the RIPOFF. The wipe-down on my car was so poor, I asked for a cloth to work on it myself. They gave me a cloth and watched me clean the car! They must be used to that and take no pride in their work. I would be mortified if I were the owner. The windshield was so smeared, I had to go home immediately and clean the glass. I paid for leather dressing and the back seats were not touched. I don't mind paying for quality and have always gotten the VIP wash and been a good tipper. I have paid this place thousands of dollars over the years. But I have just spent my last dime there. read more

Went here yesterday. No line. I personally hand wash my car and didn't go for the wash instead went for the vacuuming service and leather conditioning. The vacuum did an okay job, left some dust by my shifter boot. My question is, how do you apply leather conditioner without cleaning the leather?! Also no leather conditioner was placed on my steering wheel or even my dashboard like I had asked for. Will not be returning, paid $20 as a lesson on not to return. read more

First time coming here today, and DEFINITELY the last. It's a confusing setup, the staff was not professional, and the job they did on my car was mediocre at best. I wanted to get a full service clean, inside and out, including a hand wax and tire/wheel clean and shine. They said the hand wax was going to take between 1 to 2 HOURS, and so I opted for JUST an exterior clean with tire shine. The pre-wash they do is pretty thorough, which I liked. By the time they were done, though, my rims were still dirty, and they barely put the tire shine on. They even missed a few spots on the tires. Ironically enough, the guy whose car was being worked on next to mine also complained about his tires not being clean after they were done. Several spots were missed on his as well. On top of that, my Bluetooth headphones went missing while I was there. Not going to accuse anyone, but it's hard to imagine that it was anyone else other than a staff member.
