My 1998.5 Dodge Ram Cummins had steering issues so I took it to Magnum for an alignment. They said they alignment issues were caused by a worn pitman arm, worn idler arms and a broken front coil suspension spring. They took the extra time and effort to order the correct replacement parts and ensure that the job was done right. This shop dropped everything they were already doing to help my kid get home for Christmas... Their Subaru Forester blew the radiator in transit from Colorado Springs to Chicago and we all were in panic mode until Magnum bailed us out... A Christmas miracle to say the least... Got them back on the road in hours instead of days... This after 2 other shops turned them away!!! Not to mention they charged less than the original quote by a couple hundred bucks... So right now this shop is my favorite in the United States!!! A big shout out to Magnum Automotive! My car was making a terrible rattle a couple of weeks ago and the engine light came on. I called them as soon as they opened and they said bring it right in after I described what was going on. Dillon (sp) called me at work to go over what they found and suggestion for repairs. He called back to update me on repairs done and how the car was running. Problems were because of what a dealership had messed up but he didn't know. Just confirmed when I asked him. They changed the oil, did an engine flush, changed the air filter and fixed a timing issue. They checked my brakes, tires, everything! He offered me solutions to start with, what we should do going forward to make sure what they fixed would stay fixed and was honest about what DIDN'T need fixed. It ended up costing me less than $385 to fixed what needed done. I honestly though it would be several thousand. The car just purrs! I highly recommend giving them your business if you are needing car repairs, tune-up, new tires or just an oil change!! read more

I brought my car in for service. I requested an oil change. Nobody told me that the only oil change option there was $80+ tax. Completely unacceptable. Was expecting them to call me with quote for other repairs. Nothing else had been done but the oil change at $80. Wal Mart charges $20 for an oil change. I'd have been ok with $30 or maybe even $40 for the convenience of doing it at the same time as other service. Extremely disappointed with this excessively high price without advising me first. Will never go to Magnum again and will advise friends and family to do the same. Curt was the service advisor. Beware! read more

Stranded hours from home in subzero temps near Newton. Towed to Magnum by our choice as the staff were the only ones who gave us any hope of help over the phone--other repair centers said they could maybe help us in a few days. We knew our problem made our car undrivable, but was likely something minor. It was, and Magnum diagnosed the problem quickly and got us back on the road. Thank you to all the staff at Magnum!
