However the dipping sauces left a bit to be desired. They were not fresh unfortunately but came in little packages. They were kind of thick and hard to "dip". We had to kind of scoop the sauce with the churro. It was easier to just dunk the churro in the hot chocolate we got. However the hot chocolate was very sweet and then became even more so with the sugar from the churros. The service was very friendly and the place was cute!

They're hot and crispy, while maintaining a fluffy center that you just can't find easily in the US. Their dips are pre packaged here. I like cajeta and condensed milk, but chocolate is also a top seller. My wife got an ice cream churro sandwich with mango ice cream. She loved it. The ice cream was creamy and the churros hot. The enchiladas came in a small bowl, dipped in red sauce, with avocado, bacon, and topped with salsa and sour cream. The enchiladas were not as tasty as I hoped, they were rather bland. The coffee was ok, but not too potent. The ambiance is relaxed. Mainly Polanco locals come here, no bad vibes. The customer service was ok. They just need to add more taste to their food, and they will do better.

Their coffee is rich and strong, exactly what you want with pastries like these. Definitely a place I'd come back to when I'm in the area.

Bingsu is a "popular Korean shaved ice dessert with sweet toppings that may include chopped fruit, condensed milk, fruit syrup, and red beans...The food originally began as ice shavings with red bean paste." I randomly passed Pastelnara in La Zona Rosa (CDMX's gayborhood), and being a fan of most things Korean, I couldn't help but grab the green tea cup bingsu (pictured). It did not disappoint. While it was slightly different than the bingsu I'm used to, it was a surprisingly pleasant take on a traditional Korean dessert. The dish was served in a 12oz recyclable cup and consisted of finely shaved ice, green tea syrup that made its way through most of the dish, and it was all topped off with vanilla ice cream and finely chopped nuts. It tasted great, and the best part--it was less than $2.50 USD.
