I attended the teacher training and I would not suggest it to anyone. The teacher didn't show up to…read morethe classes often, but got upset if others couldn't be there due to health reasons or other things. I felt it was disorganized and we learned more from a book than actually learning to teach yoga. I ended up knowing a lot of useless information. The teacher barely prepared us for her test and it was obviously put together last minute. The teacher also made a big deal about my weight because I am a smaller girl. She mentioned my weight every class and I felt it was inappropriate to do in front of the entire class. In the end I learned everything not to do as a yoga teacher. I never went back to the studio after the teacher training because of how horrible my experience was.

After…read morebeing a member for almost a year and a half, you would think some grace would be offered at cancellation, considering the amount of money I have poured into this institution, however, HOTWORX makes it so difficult to cancel. instead of being able to outright cancel, you either have to pay for 2 months up front, or a $99 cancellation fee. All I am saying, is if you are considering getting a membership here, think carefully about your choice. Things happen. Life happens. And HOTWORX does not care about you or your financial situation, all you are is money to them. I will add that the one in Madison seems to be more sensitive to people, and their situations. Having been a member of both locations, Madison treats you like family, as opposed to money.
