When Dr Venus walked into the treatment room today, I greeted her enthusiastically, "You are a Miracle Worker!". Flash back to 2 days before when Sherri (she runs the office) squeezed me in after I tripped and fell on a sidewalk. I was in pain from my neck to my hip. Dr. Maher was our last stop for treating my daughter who has chronic pain. We've done acupuncture, acupressure, massage, shin jin jyutsu...you name it. We've also tried other chiropractors. Dr. Maher was recommended to us by someone who also has chronic pain. Dr. Maher's treatments allow my daughter to participate more fully in her own life. I have been seeing Dr. Maher since 2008. I have Arthritis and in the last two years have also been diagnosed with fibromyalgia as a result I require some pretty specialized treatment when in a flare up and she is absolutely awesome. Her energy work and ability to provide adjustments even during the worst flare ups have keep me moving and functional. SHE SAVED ME THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in medical expenses after I fell in the shower and injured my pelvis. For over a year the pelvic pain kept getting worse to the point I was nearly unable to walk. I had been shuffled around from one specialist to another and undergone a series of tests. I went to see Dr. Maher for a back issue and told her when I been going through, she said I think I know the problem. Sure enough, she adjusted the pubic symphysis and the relief was instantaneous. After a few more adjustments it was completely better and hasn't bothered me since. She has a caring and loving spirit and completely dedicated to her patients. My wife sees Dr. Maher and wanted me to share her experience. What a blessing it was finding Dr. Venus. I suffered for over one year with constant debilitating TMJ jaw, face, & neck pain. I went to medical specialists one after another and against the advice of my medical doctor finally sought chiropractic care. I found Dr. Venus Maher and learned she specialized in cranial work and had experience treating TMJ. From our first meeting, she took the time to really understand my issues, clearly explained the diagnostic and treatment process and set about trying to gently "fix" the issue. She explained that she would not continue treatments unless I felt things were getting better. Oh, My, Goodness... within only a few weeks I began to really get better. It took some time but eventually I was pain free. My jaw pain is gone and even headaches and back-pains I've always had are better now. Whenever I have gotten a treatment from Dr. Venus Maher, it didn't matter whether I had a sore back, neck, knee, wrist, ankle or toe! She knew how to adjust any bone that needed help. I know most people see a chiropractor when their back is in pain. I take my 2-year old daughter to Dr. Maher because she was getting ear infections and I didn't want to give her antibiotics anymore.
