Where to begin?! From the booking to the end of day drop off, Ryan and Beccy were beyond amazing! Booking: with COVID, we wanted to ensure our booking was 100% refundable if someone in our party had a positive result. The cancellation policy doesn't have a COVID contingency so I called and asked if they could accommodate and asked to have that sent in email as a confirmation. Ryan was more than accommodating and immediately emailed us with the modified cancellation policy and even told me to call to book versus online to avoid online fees. Booking was easy and Ryan asked great questions to understand what type of group we were and what interests we had to ensure he created the perfect itinerary for us. Day of: Pick up: Ryan called before pick to let me know/confirm the activities for the day. Ensured he had what he needed and that we packed what we needed. He was picking us up and was even 10 minutes early to ensure we were packed and ready to go right at 10 am! First stop: Snorkeling! I have been snorkeling several times but this was by far the BEST I've done. The weather was perfect and sun shining and water was crystal blue clear. The fish and coral were beautiful. We saw a pod of dolphins, a seas turtle, sting ray and so many different type of tropical fish. There were some great underwater statues/ structures and Ryan shot some great photos/ videos. Beccy was wonderful with my youngest daughter (10 years old) and ensured there was a surf board to hold into when she got tired. 2nd stop: mermaid caves! Right up the road from the snorkel spot and such a cool/ beautiful spot we did a little bit of exploring, took some great photos/videos and went to our next stop. 3rd stop: Waterfall Cliffs! Brief hike through lush forest to a cute hidden gem of a waterfall. There were ledges 8, 25 and 35 feet high that you could jump from. Most of my party jumped off one or all of them and it was amazing. Ryan took great photos and videos to capture the memories. 4th stop: Lunch at The Smoking Boar and the Coconut!! OMG, great recommendation by Ryan. The place is a family owned restaurant (Ryan and Beccy's neighbors in fact). Everyone in our party (8 people) absolutely LOVED what they ordered. I even tried a few bites of others too and everything was absolutely delicious. Even my youngest, who is the pickiest easter eva could stop eating hers and kept saying how it was the best rice she ever tasted. 5th stop: Surfing the North Shore!!!! Only two people had done any kind of surfing and Ryan and Beccy had everything we would need. Down to the surfing clothes to avoid any rashes. The waves were perfect and everyone got up on their first try! Great instruction and really attentive to ensure we caught the wave and had the best experience. Ryan took photos and videos of the kids surfing and we got some great family photos at the end in front of the surf boards. Becky went tandem surfing with my youngest and she was AMAZING with her. My daughter didn't want to stop. In transit: Ryan and Beccy were great conversationalist and the drive didn't seem long at all to each stop because we were having so much fun just chatting. Overall: I would book them every day if I knew how amazing the day would be. My girls and the rest of the party said it was the best day of the trip. Even if you're only here for a day or two, BOOK THEM! You will not regret it. If/when we come back, we will definitely be booking them again. Our tour wasn't perfect but we still had a great time. Pros: 1. Our guide was full of interesting stories. 2. It was cool going to more hidden spots. Many of the places we went to, we were either the only ones there or there were just a handful of others. I really appreciated being able to experience places that we would have never found on our own. 3. Some of the activities were beyond our comfort level, but the guide always gave us an alternative that we were more comfortable with. We did push ourselves beyond our comfort level, some more than others in our group, and I have to say that in itself was a rewarding experience that I will treasure, even more than some of the sights we saw. It was terrific bonding experience. Cons: 1. There was less communication than I would've liked before the tour. Our guide said he would follow up the day before but he never did. I had provided general input on what we preferred but none of it was confirmed ahead of time so we really had little idea of what the day would include. As a result, we weren't exactly sure how to dress or what to bring, and there were parts of the tour we would've been happy to skip. 2. The guide didn't bring any life vests. Most of us weren't comfortable swimmers and this really inhibited us from enjoying the water activities to the fullest extent. I would say this was the most disappointing part. (Note: If you hike through any tropical areas, wear bug spray -- no matter what anybody tells you!) Overall, it was still a memorable experience that I will reminisce about fondly. I feel like we got our money's worth and we'd try Mahina Hawaii again. read more

When I was looking for excursions to book, I had researched so many different places and it was all the same...tour bus with a bunch of strangers...do one excursion and drive around town...that's it!! I wanted a customized itinerary that fit our needs and stay away from the crowds. Since I was limited on time, I wanted to do as much in one day as possible and do what I want with my level of comfort for me and my boys. So when I stumbled upon Mahina Hawaii it checked everything I was looking for!! I'm telling you...this is your one stop shop with a private tour guide that tailors to your wants and needs!! Ryan, the owner and I talked a few days before my trip to get to know me and my family and asked for our top things to do. I thought that was soo cool so I listed what was what we would like to do and he delivered!! He showed up on time with a van full of paddle boards, snorkel gear, snacks and water!! When I tell you that we did everything, I mean we did EVERYTHING!! We hiked to a small waterfall where my son jumped off cliffs with no one around! We then drove around while Ryan gave us insight on the island and we talked as if we were friends for years!! He is soo patient and personable! We then drove to Northshore where we paddle boarded, saw a manta ray, jumped off more cliffs, snorkeled, and then he took us around and stopped whenever we wanted to for pictures!! Did I mention he was also our photographer??? And sends you all the photos and videos for no additional charge!!! We ended the day with a stop at Leonard's for the world famous malasadas and he dropped us off back at our hotel!! It was by far the best part of our trip and we are so thankful we did it!! Our tour began with a waterfall hike followed by cliff diving. Eight year old stayed at 3 foot level at first but then progressed to 6 foot level. Twelve and thirteen year olds were excited to try 3, 6, and 20 foot levels. After our wonderful tour guides, Conner and Chace, jumped from 33 feet, our 35+ males had to do the same! Our guys couldn't master the back flips however. Since we were newcomers to the island, the tour included several stops with brathtaking views! Connor and Chace taught the beginners how to snorkel and body board. Our tour guys ensured everyone was having a good time. Our age range was from 8 to 75. We packed in paddle boarding, snorkeling with turtles, a short hike to a great view of the shore line, including seeing a pillbox for the first time and another short hike to a waterfall. Oh, Sweet Baby Jesus! If you haven't booked a private tour with Mahina Hawaii, you are missing out. We had THE BEST DAY EVER with Connor. We snorkeled at Electric Beach (saw a turtle AND got immersed in a school of Hawaiian Sergeant fish), hiked through beautiful Banyon and mango trees to a waterfall where the brave at heart ones in my family cliff jumped, had lunch at some food trucks on the north shore, then did stand up paddle boarding and kayaking on a river where we saw even more turtles. Finished the day with shave ice before heading back to resort. Seriously, best day of our trip. We would have never done so much had it not been for Connor. There is so much to do and see on Oahu and this was, by far, the best use of our time and money. You can get as laid back or hard core as you desire. They have activities for all ages and fitness levels. If you were to unpack this experience and attempt to do it all on your own, without knowing the island, you would pay more and not come close to what Mahina provides. And remember its private, only your group, not you and a van full of unpredictable strangers. Our guide Evan was so knowledgable about the island, its history, and all of the best places to go. My family of four stopped at Leonards for some malasada's, got to jump from Waimea rock, snorkel in Sharks Cove & another beautiful location, and that was all before lunch. After lunch we went stand up paddle boarding for an hour and stopped at another spot to swim with turtles. We were exhausted, in a good way, to stay the least. The entire experience was captured by Evan on his GoPro (at no extra charge). We have so many photos and videos to capture this once in a lifetime experience. Outstanding!!! We had an awesome full day adventure with our guide Connor. Totally customized to our interests and abilities. We took on a more adventurous route and experienced water falls, swimming holes, a challenging ridge line hike, a river/ocean kayak, perfect lunch spot for Poke (lunch not included), snorkeling and plenty of other surprises. We normally do half day excursions but were happy we went with the full day so we could explore Oahu and get out of Honolulu. Great for an active small group that are wanting 1) to avoid a slow tour group and 2) to explore in a manner that was respectful to the island and people that both live here and are from here. read more

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! I took my family of 5 on one of Mahina Hawaii's half day adventures including surf lessons and snorkeling. Becky and her husband Ryan were completely unprofessional. We were supposed to be picked up at 10am, but they did not get us till about 10:25. To make matters worse, they did not answer my calls. We were left outside waiting and wondering. Not the best start to the day. Ryan explained they were stuck in "turtle" traffic. I decided to stay positive (since we had planned this 4 months in advance) and off to our first stop of the day we went: Surfing! We were really looking forward to this as we live in the midwest not near any beaches. We were expecting beginner friendly small conditions, but the waves were quite large that day well over our heads. Becky said it would be fine, and we would stay in the "calmer" surf. Needless to say, she took us into the bigger waves. It was a scary experience for my kids, I think they are all traumatized now. Boards were flying everywhere and my 6 year old started crying and wanted to go in after only 5 minutes. At this point, we all decided to end the lesson early and go in. For the included lunch, we were given some pre-packaged energy bars and a warm home made smoothie and a bottle of water. Yuck. The next activity was snorkeling. The water was a bit murky and rough, and we all got cold. Couldn't see much either. The snorkel masks still had sand in them and who knows what else, so I sat on the beach while the wife and kids did their best to enjoy it. For what it's worth, we had a TERRIBLE experience with this company "Mahina Hawaii Adventures" on our first trip to Hawaii. Steer clear of them. They have glowing 5 star reviews, (most likely written by them or their friends/family) , but this is NOT what we experienced. Go do your research online, and avoid these crooks. read more

My wife, myself and our granddaughter booked a tour with Mahina Hawaii and I can't say enough about how good Ryan was at tailoring the day to our wants. It was like having a friend that grew up on the island trying to show you the best the island could offer. We went to all of the spots only the locals know, this helped us avoid crowds. This made every adventure more enjoyable. We pushed ourselves hard for our age but that was our chose. We could have taken it easier. We had lessons in snorkeling, paddle boarded, surfing and were shown some of the best swimming and turtle watching places on the island that where not crowded with tourists. Ryan and Becky are just awesome. They are extremely friendly and you don't get a feeling that anything is commercial. They customize everything to your taste. We had surfing lessons for our two kids the first day. Both Ryan and Becky were there for two hours for our two kids. Punctual and communicating all the time. The next say we were a party of 14. Went snorkeling, cliff jumping, paddle boarding. Not bored for a minute. They took care of everything. Everyone just loved it. Where do I begin? We had a day planned with Mahina Hawaii for myself, our 14 year old daughter, and fiance. We were so excited about the stand up paddle experience. Beccy took us out and the conditions seemed really rough/windy, but we made the paddle to China man's hat. The whole time I felt as if we were trying to catch up to her.. Beccy kept going without giving us any pointers. I had no idea if I was holding the paddle correctly or was doing it right. We should have just rented paddleboards since not much instruction was being given yet with an astronomical price. Overall I was pretty disappointed with our experience. My husband and I booked a full day with Ryan (owner) and Steffi. We liked it so much, we booked another day. They customized our day to do everything we wanted - turtles, snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, SUPing. Totally exceeded our expectations. Ryan grew up on the island so he knew all the secret spots. We went to a secluded beach where we jumped in and swam with a pod of 6-7 turtles. We had the whole place to ourselves. Steffi was a competitive spear fisher, so she pointed out all kinds of cool fish on our snorkel adventure and where to look for caves. Ryan and Steffi are both experts at reading water conditions and taught us tons about the ocean. We felt super safe and comfortable the whole time. When we kayaked to a tiny island, Ryan knew every detail about which path was easiest to the summit and where the best hand grips on the rocks were. We didn't realize that he and Steffi took pics of us all day using a GoPro and cell phone. They were so discreet. Added bonus, they also pinned a bunch of hikes for us to do on our own. This, by far, was the best tour I have ever booked. I had no idea where we were going, only a checklist of what to bring. It was exciting. Then the adventure started. We were picked up from the hotel & started the day by snorkeling. We got to swim with turtles, eels & other beautiful fish around amazing coral. We then got to go cliff diving!! I have never been cliff diving!! Soon after we were chatting about how we planned on hitting the shrimp trucks on our trip. Ryan, our tour guide told us that he would take us. The shrimp were fantastic. We then went kayaking & were able to kayak to China Mans Hat. It was difficult for me, I have pretty severe asthma, but I finally made it!! Never in my life did I ever think I would be able to climb this mountain, but I did! Ryan let me take my time & catch my breath. We ended the day with an awesome treat. We didn't get back to the hotel until 2hrs after the scheduled return time which was fantastic! We were having a blast! Ryan was very knowledgeable in local customs, foods, legends & history. He even gave us the many many pictures he took which was awesome - we usually have to pay extra for these on regular tours. I will definitely be booking this tour again on our next trip to Oahu. I am seriously spoiled after having spent a week staying here. Tucked away on the eastern side of Oahu, this adorable country escape is perfectly located between the sights and sounds of "the city" (Honolulu) and the North Shore. While a city girl at heart, this island girl by blood felt completely at home with the sounds of the waves from the beach a 1-minute walk away and roosters announcing the morning. The cozy and perfectly-sized room had the amenities of any hotel room, including towels (beach and bath), a fridge, kitchen necessities and access to the grill. The deck alone is worth staying there, as I spent plenty of time being rocked to sleep by the wind while trying to read on the hammock. Our hosts, Ryan and Beccy (and their adorable daughter) couldn't be any more awesome and accommodating. They totally embody the spirit of aloha in how they welcome you at their home, and their knowledge of the island and the water cannot be matched. This was important for this trip, as they had two active girls staying there for a week, and it was great to learn of some local mountain trail runs that any guidebook or website fails to mention (and close by)! We took a surf lesson with Ryan, and his knowledge of reading the water and his teaching style assuaged my lifelong fear/respect of the ocean and had me catching waves - a dream I've had for years! Although located in the country, that's not to say there aren't great places in the near vicinity for your needs. There are food trucks and serious grub (grinds) within a 10-minute drive, as well as conveniences like grocery and drugstores. I have a high school friend living on the island now, but I'd be hard pressed to want to stay anywhere else the next time I return to Oahu...and I seriously hope that's sooner than later! read more

My boyfriend and I vacationed on Oahu a few years ago and luckily met Ryan at the hotel where we were staying. He took us out on a paddle boarding adventure (our first time!) and it did not disappoint! Ryan knew great spots to take us and even had us doing paddle board yoga which just added to our already amazing experience! In addition to providing paddle boards, teaching us how to successfully use them and do yoga on them, Ryan also brought us fresh passion fruit and coconut from his backyard for a snack. I am so glad I booked a half day retreat with Mahina Hawaii! It was four hours of fun and sweat in the most beautiful environment. My adventure started with a 3 mile downwind ocean paddle. Ryan shared his local knowledge of the ocean and the mountains. We even surfed a few small waves on our paddle boards. Then we explored the calm waters of the Kahana river. After our paddle, we put our shoes on and headed up the mountain for an amazing hike. It was pretty steep climbing up to Crouching Lion, but the view was definitely worth it. I loved the physical challenge, and I thought it was cool to see where we had just paddled. While enjoying the view from the peak, Ryan provided a delicious snack made with fruit, nuts, and other healthy ingredients. His love for nature and healthy living is contagious. Mahina Hawaii IS Hawaii. I don't even know where to begin to tell you how true this is. I can though begin by telling you I am part Hawaiian and have been coming to Oahu since I was a baby. My Father was born and raised on Oahu and a Kamehameha Graduate. We know Hawaii, her beauty, her secrets, her people, her food, her adventure and her culture. We also most certainly know her ALOHA. So please trust me my friends, when I say MAHINA HAWAII - IS - HAWAII. I am speaking truth. Ryan and Beccy encompass all of this, and then some. I am so grateful my Husband and I took our 10 year anniversary vacation to the North Shore 3 1/2 years ago. This is where we had the pleasure of meeting Ryan. Sometimes you meet people by chance, but you feel as you have known them all along. Ryan is one of those people to us. He greeted us with open arms and zest for adventure that my Husband and I so love. We started the morning kayak surfing. Such a blast - we wanted more! Ryan suggest a paddle tour thru Kahana Bay and up the river. I was in complete awe. To be disconnected from everything, and just spend time in nature, cruising thru the most pristine Kahana Bay and ending up the river as pineapple rain blessed us - the day was surreal. We knew right then and there, we would be back for more adventure!!! My Husband and I reside in Arizona and always so busy raising our family and both working full time demanding, stressful jobs. We don't mind the work we put in, just as long as a Hawaiian adventure awaits. In 2015 we were able to head back twice. In june of 15' and again for Christmas and New Years. In June, we took friends we had never been to Hawaii. AGAIN. Ryan and Beccy showed up with endless ALOHA and showed our friends the time of their life. We did the same paddle tour, however this time there was 12 of us!!! And they took care of every single on of us. Ages ranging from 5 - 38. As much fun as I had that day, I was ready to return to Hawaii with just my little Ohana and seek out another adventure from Ryan. Ryan mentioned swimming with the dolphins on the west side of Oahu. SOLD. I based my whole Christmas on this adventure. Seriously. I told my family we could "do Christmas" in Arizona (consisting of toys they don't need etc) or we could go see Ryan and swim the dolphins. SOLD. My kids were so excited, but truthfully not as excited as I was ;) We booked our adventure with Mahina Hawaii and I couldn't wait to tell Ryan the Parker Ohana was coming back for more!! I will not continue on with every detail, as I feel as though I could write a book based on the most EPIC DAY ever, but I will leave you with some final thoughts about Mahina Hawaii and some pictures that I am certain will make you smile!! Our day started with spending 3 HOURS kayaking out to swim with the dolphins. Hundreds of them we found. It was surreal and I never felt more alive!!!! Pure magic. Ryan's ability to handle a group out in the ocean of all age ranges, meanwhile taking awesome photos, and laughing with us is unreal!! We then headed to the closest beach park for a lunch that still makes my mouth water. The best part of his healthy all natural lunch - my son who is very picky - tried everything!!! and loved it!!! I swear Ryan can get my kiddos to do or try anything. Next. Adventure into a cave that my kiddos and nephew just oozing with excitement. I mean what better gift can you give your kids then the ability to adventure?!?! AND. Be a KID. As if this day wasn't already straight out of the story books - we then took a hike of a lifetime that ended with a rope swing, two waterfalls and the 3 kids who were in nirvana. HOWEVER. The best part. One of the best days I have ever lived, was watching my kids and nephew find the confidence, the ability, and strength to climb a mountain. They were scared at times (due to the amount of mud) and wanted to go home at times. Although with Ryan's ability again to handle children, guide children, and with my Hawaiian blood pumping strong feeling SO ALIVE in nature - we got these kids through this hike, which turned out to be the most unbelievable experience of their life and ours. I will never be able to fully describe what MAHINA HAWAII is all about - - - - -but I hope this has helped. My family spent a wonderful day with Ryan. We had some very little ones with us (1,4 and 6) so we couldn't be very adventurous but we had a wonderful tour around the island with lots of stops at beautiful beaches we wouldn't have found on our own. This review is long overdue!! My sisters and I visited Oahu during late August for my birthday. To say that this was the highlight of our trip is an understatement! We chose to do a full day adventure with Ryan that included cliff jumping, swimming thru caves, snorkeling with turtles, and hiking to waterfalls! Not to mention the cute lil' food spots he took us through! The coffee farm, fruit stand, and poke spot we visited were all great! From booking to drop off, Ryan was awesome! A friend and I took a 2 hour surf lesson from Beccy. She was very accommodating in meeting at a place convenient for us, and didn't complain or cut us short at all when we showed up almost 30 minutes late because of slow food order. In fact, she actually ended up spending almost 3 hours with us. She took us to a nice area in Haleiwa with lots of slowly breaking waves and clearly explained the currents, where we'd catch the waves, and how we'd swim back to set up for the next one. She taught us how to stand up with control, and then gave us feedback on improving, both when we practiced on land and when we did it in the water. I was surprised at how easily I was able to start catching waves (my only previous experience with a surfing lesson didn't go as well). After a bit, Beccy let me continue on my own, giving my tips here and there, and focused mainly on my friend who wasn't as strong of a swimmer. The whole time, Beccy was very professional and knowledgeable, while also being very laid-back and friendly. My only regret now after reading all the other reviews, is that I didn't book a full day adventure with Mahina and take advantage of all they have to offer. We had a wonderful experience with Mahina Hawaii! As two beginners to Stand up paddle boarding we didn't know how far we'd get on our lesson, but with a few minutes instruction from Ryan we were off on a beautiful river paddle. We spent two hours on the water and had the whole river to ourselves! Ryan was a patient and kind teacher and guide, and had a good feel for just how much "adventure" we were up for, while still encouraging us to step outside our comfort zones. I'm a local, and when a friend came to Oahu to visit, my roommate hooked us up with a standup paddle boarding tour with Ryan. My friend and I had never paddled before and weren't sure what exactly to expect, but Ryan blew us away with the most beautiful paddling adventure we could have imagined. Ryan's knowledge of the wind patterns and the waters, along with his helpful instructions and positive encouraging leadership, made for an epic 3-hour tour through the gorgeous waterways of Oahu's east side. We had the BEST time with Beccy and Ryan!! My husband wanted to learn to surf but was nervous about doing it in a big group in front of crowds of people, so Ryan took us to a quiet beach with good surf and Adam caught his first wave pretty much right away! He was so happy. The rest of the time we were on the North Shore the weather wasn't the best for us and all the tour companies we booked cancelled on us. I really wanted to swim with dolphins but I had heard it wasn't really possible in Hawaii - but Beccy and Ryan made it happen! We went out early and for a long time it was just the three of us and the Dolphins, we got so close to them and we even saw baby dolphins leaning to jump! Afterwards we had a picnic on the beach that Ryan packed a picnic made up of homemade granola, papayas, pineapple along with homemade energy balls and beef jerky, all organic and grass fed. On our trip to Hawaii we experienced local, privately lead tours as well as large corporate tours organised by resorts, the latter was totally depressing and I would recommend Mahina Hawaii any day - it's just like hanging out with friends who know all about the secret places to experience the real Hawaii. I recently referred a longtime friend who used to live on O'ahu, but now lives on the mainland, to Mahina Hawai'i. She was coming for a visit with her 2 boys & ended up booking 3 full day adventures with Ryan. Stayed with Becky and Ryan for almost a week. Their place is awesome! Has all the amenities of a plush hotel at an affordable rate. Not only is the room great but they offer awesome tours ...our tour started at 7 am on the beach so we just decided to camp there and wait for them...they showed up and knew right where to find a local wild dolphin pod...we headed out on their paddle boards and spent about 2 hours with the dolphins ..a way better deal than any other dolphin your on the island...guess how I know? Because we must have watched about 20 boats come and go throughout the day...none of them stayed for more than an hour and most were only there for about 30 minutes...Becky and Ryan know all of the local spots to see the best wildlife and will refer you to local businesses for things they don't offer (like swimming with sharks off a boat)...not to be missed, Mahina Hawaii is a great value and an awesome experience! read more

My husband and I wanted to take surfing lessons while spending a week on Oahu for a friend's wedding weekend and extended vacation. We were connected to Ryan through a friend of a friend and we're soooo glad we got lessons through him!! Ryan and Beccy were so nice when we chatted with them over the phone to schedule our lesson and they were so accommodating when we added 2 friends at the last minute to our lesson. Ryan was an amazing teacher, SO much fun, and very very patient, as 3 out of 4 of us were brand new to surfing. He's a true local and a seasoned surfer with an amazing ability to read the waves. He brought boards for all of us and even had extra rash guards for us to borrow. We went to a gorgeous, secluded beach with only one other group of people there, unlike the overly crowded beaches of Waikiki. After a short lesson on the sand, he got us right in the water. He guided us one at a time to learn to wait for the right wave, then paddle, paddle, paddle, and UP!! After a few hours, we had all been able to ride some waves, exhausted but happy to spend the afternoon in the ocean. We HIGHLY recommend Ryan to anyone going to Oahu and looking to get surfing lessons. Also, whenever we travel anywhere, we like to get tips from real locals and Ryan pointed us to another local guy who does no-cage shark dives (a once in a lifetime experience) and the best kalua pork on the island (and we tried a bunch)! It was an absolute blast and I only wish we had enough time during our trip for another lesson and to go on their stand up paddle board adventure. This was the highlight of our trip. We took a full day adventure with Ryan and Stewart. We have a family of 8 ranging from ages 3 to 48. I truly thought "what could Ryan show us that we haven't already seen since we been here?" This day was unreal and worth every penny. We would have never seen the real Oahu without him. We began with kayaking and stand up paddle boarding down a river under the rainbow bridge and back to the ocean where we swam. Next we went to a unknown tourist location, where we swam with many sea turtles which came right up to us the whole time. Then we went snorkeling at another location where we saw the most beautiful sea life. Last we went to an authentic hawaiin restaurant. We thought the day ended at 5, but Ryan and Stewart still wanted to take us on the hike. Our day went so fast and we were exhausted so we chose to go back in, but they would have stayed over our time by hours because they were so passionate.
