There was no explanation. When I called the company to ask what that meant, they told me they could no longer afford to come to Philadelphia and were dropping all Philadelphia clients. What's frustrating is that if I hadn't called, I never would have known what the message meant until they simply stopped showing up. Even worse, this happened two days before my next scheduled cleaning. After eight years of being a reliable customer who never missed a payment, the lack of communication and last-minute notice felt pretty disappointing. I completely understand that businesses sometimes have to change their service areas, but the way this was handled--via a vague automated email with no direct communication--was frankly unprofessional and inconsiderate to long-standing clients.

After cleaning my own home for 50 years I know it is an hard job and not one I would chose to do on a daily basis day in and day out. So if one month it isn't done exactly to specs, the next month may be better. If one really wants a job done exactly right they should do it themselves. I can't because I am disable, but I did for many years and I admire these women and men who go into other people's homes and clean up other's messes. After double checking everything I am satisfied with their cleaning and appreciate that they did fix the problem areas as soon as I mentioned it. They were very attentive the second time around so I do appreciate that and they made sure that I was happy with the service! I was a little disappointed that attention to detail wasn't more of a focus. There were several areas that were still dusty and not fully cleaned. I had to go around and double check everything was properly deep cleaned. I do understand that checking is part of the 100% guarantee, but I wish I didn't have to ask them to go back and re clean some areas For $600 worth of cleaning (including rug and chair)...I shouldn't have to follow people around after they are done to ensure everything was thoroughly cleaned.
