So, long story short.. a short term tenant destroyed my home/airbnb. This is the company the guests hired. They went above and beyond and worked in a timely fashion. The owner is excellent, kind and ensures her employees do an extraordinary job. I will be hiring her team to do seasonal deep cleans moving forward. 1000% the best cleaning company I've ever used. I have used them for many years. I finally had enough. The owner has an attitude, the cleaning crew always leaves lights on after cleaning so I have to be home the same day to turn them off. They rush to get the house cleaned and never spend the time for the hourly rate I was paying for. Was supposedly getting charged extra for having 2 dogs who haven't been there for over a year and was told there would be an additional charge because we have a cat now. Shower floor wiped instead of cleaned where I had to clean it myself after they leave. The owner's solution was for me to supply a $3 can of cleanser for them to use. I liked the cleaning crew but didn't like dealing with the owner and wished they would have spent the time cleaning for the money I was paying for. read more

I hate to have to update this review because I really do think the work that the women she sends is good, my house always feels and smells so clean. However, I just couldn't deal with the owner's attitude any more. She had been less than jolly a time or two before but I shrugged it off. On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving I realized that since November has an extra week that Friday would have been 4 weeks and our monthly cleaning was most likely scheduled for that day. I called as soon as I realized since we would be away for the holiday and was met with huffing and puffing about needing to cancel and was asked to call back on Friday to reschedule. At this point I was taken back with the attitude I received, I never called to reschedule, and started looking for a new cleaning company. A week later I get a confirmation call at 7pm Thursday night for the day. I was unable to call her back myself to say that we decided to no long have cleanings so my fiancé called for me. He does not like to hurt anyone's feelings so he told her we decided to not have the cleaners come because we were cutting back on expenses. He was then met with the same attitude I had gotten the week before and told her the real reason we aren't continuing-because she's rude. It's a shame because like I said, I liked the cleaning they did. But I will not deal with attitude from a company, especially when they are selling a luxury not a necessity. read more

April Fresh Cleaning came in today and in a few hours, Stacy and her crew had our home (which was a model home) back into model home clean state - it is truly immaculate. We are very, very, very happy. Stacy's crew is pleasant and they worked hard to get our house clean from top to bottom. This past Saturday, they organized my storage area in the basement, taking it from cluttered to organized and our house back to a gleaming clean state that we love. It cost $300 for a 2 hour house cleaning (4 people) and I'm very disappointed in the results. The cleaners were not efficient. The one girl cleaned by kitchen sink 4 times that I saw (and I only occasionally passed through that room) rather than just cleaning it once at the end. The floors were washed with duty water that just moved around pet hair (see pictures) and I had to ask that they were recleaned (and I recleaned one myself) and while they were finally clean before they left, I was not reimbursed for the time it took them to redo the work. My downstairs bathroom was totally missed (I called the owner and she convinced one cleaner to come back and do the floors, but she didn't do the toilet, sink or mirror), and the pictures of the carpet are after they left. For $300 I had to revacuum the house myself and clean the downstairs bathroom. They also didn't get to do all the windows like was supposed to be included and they actively cleaned areas which I ask repeatedly to skip (e.g. a messy desk in my art room). Very inefficient at cleaning which is unacceptable with the incredibly high cost per hour. read more

We utilized the services of April Fresh for the first time this week. Stacy coordinated things well, and sent a team of five to our small abode. One young lady (Sara or Sarah) said she was very new to the company, so she may have been still in training. She was an excellent worker, and communicator. The other four ladies were all polite and worked very quickly and efficiently. In addition to doing a deep "spring cleaning" (ironically in fall!), they did some organizing of books and toys and such, which was a most pleasant surprise! Each worker took a room as their own, and then all worked on some common areas like the hallways, closets etc. The only drawback that I can report is that with their method of working so swiftly (which I do appreciate for the pocketbook!), we noticed some items missing (like a baby bottle scrubbing brush on the sink), and are not sure if they placed these items where they felt the best belong, or discarded them. Also, a couple of plastic bags that had unopened bottles of vitamins with some value seem to be missing as well. Perhaps they need to be a little more careful, or maybe I am to be blamed for advising them to not toss things in the trash before conferring with me. On the other hand, I was in and out, and next time will be sure to be more on top of things. Overall, we were very pleased with the service, and will likely use them again for monthly maintenance. Admittedly, our place was mighty messy, and now we feel like we have a nice clean and comfy home thanks to the outstanding staff of April Fresh! read more

Words cannot express how disappointed I am in Stacy from April Fresh Cleaning. What I hoped, and what she had promised, was that I would be happy after my first "detailed" cleaning for $150. Not even close. I was literally shaking because of the way she spoke to me and my family. She was belligerent and ranted and raved that she couldn't clean the kitchen due to clutter. She even said, "Jesus Christ, I can't clean with this clutter!" -- in front of my 3 year old. My neighbor kindly took my toddler outside to play so she wouldn't hear Stacy yelling. Let me explain. I live in a 1,200 sf cottage and have a 1 year old and 3 year old. There are toys in the living room but they are in baskets and they are contained. There are a lot of sippy cups and bottles in the kitchen too. But they are in baskets. I don't want to bore you with every detail. I just want you to be informed and not make the same mistake. The house DID NOT look clean after her crew left. None of the bed sheets were changed even though clean sheets were left for her to change. Stacy promised me she would clean under the beds and she positively DID NOT (see pic). She didn't clean under any furniture for that matter. Absolutely nothing was organized (see pic of my closet). I had specifically told Stacy to work on organization when I first called her. She assured me that was her specialty. If she had spent more time actually cleaning and less time complaining, the house would have sparkled. But it looked the same after she was finished. My husband called her a few hours after she "cleaned" and asked for a refund but she refused even though her website states, "If there is ever anything missed and you call within 24 hrs, we will make sure we easily rectify the situation." Stacy is not truthful. She is unkind, unprofessional and a shoddy cleaner. read more

Was given the name of this company from a friend and she didn't give great reviews but said try them. After leaving a message, the next full day she called back and boy was she rude, ignorant and condescending. First off, she calls me in the car when the windows are down and we can't hear each other then her attitude was downright horrible, to say the least. Just reading the responses on other people's posts doesn't seem very professional. I rather use someone able to take criticism. Hey, everyone is entitled to their opinion, after all, we ARE paying you and that IS business. No thanks after our conversation, there are plenty of good house cleaners out there. read more

This service does a good, but not a great job. They are however, very dependable and come when they say they will. I have never not had a call back. I love coming home to a clean house, and I am grateful that I did not have to clean it. But, the ladies move too fast and I am frequently looking for throw rugs, (once found my master bath rug in the guest bath) and cleaning bottles left out. There are frequent misses - cobwebs on a lamp shade, and in a corner kind of thing, dust mops not pushed under furniture. If you have a vacuum out and all you have to do is raise it up to reach a web, it is a great impression that it was taken care of and a poor one when you notice that the same web is in view week after week. All it would take is a supervisor to take a walk-through and make sure everything is put right. The cleaners are pleasant, and efficient though for the most part. I recommend that the owner leaves a check sheet with every visit to be mailed back to her as needed so that clients can comment about misses and preferences without having to confront the person cleaning, (some of them don't speak English very well) and yet get the message through. A standard form wouldn't be hard to generate and would probably be very helpful. read more

I keep my house very clean on my own so I only use April Fresh every other week. They do a nice job overall but I do have to remind them often to do certain things around cleaning as well as texting me when they are done, avoid scuffing our walls, locking the door .
