Maidpro couldn't enter a simple 4 digit keypad code to get into my home. The office manager called me, then the maid herself called me after trying to get in for 30 minutes. I had tested it before I left and it worked perfectly. I repeated the code over the phone over and over but she could not get it to work. I can not leave work to open the door for them and had to cancel my appointment. I was charged $25 (waived from $50 allegedly) for a same day cancellation fee. Update: I complained to the owner and he is allowing me to reschedule and apply my cancellation fee towards my next cleaning. That is satisfactory to me. Wow. Terrible Service. I do not even know where to begin. I hired MaidPro to do a standard once a month cleaning. They did a very thorough job the fist time, but all subsequent cleans were hasty and unfinished. They came to my house yesterday at 4:54 PM, and stayed for all of 45 minutes, barley doing anything. They clearly didn't mop, sweep, vacuum, or wipe down surfaces completely. To be honest, I am at a loss as to what they did do - except make my home reek of bleach. But my main issue is that I just had acrylic concrete sealer applied to my front step, hours before their arrival. The cleaning crew ducted under the caution tape, and walked right over the wet acrylic, leaving their footprints on my new porch. Wow. When I brought these concerns up with the owner (Byron) he was disrespectful to say the least. He won't even take my calls and refuses to address the issue! I would have settled for an apology and a re-clean, but instead I received no sympathy from Denise in the main office or the owner (Byron). No apologies, just rude, short, email responses. Avoid this company at all costs. They will take your money for little to no work and don't actually care about their customers. They're cleanings suck and they don't care about your home. Terrible!!!! MaidPro was hired to deep clean 2 bathrooms at my grandmothers home. I was very clear with the guy that scheduled the appointment exactly what I was looking for (deep clean) of 2 bathrooms. He told me the minimum clean is 3 hours I said ok , then he told me the owner agreed to 2 I was fine either way based on the scope of work. MaidPro charges a premium ( $47.00/Hr) which is ok but I expect premium quality. The one cleaning person that came did not come prepared with a cleaning solvent to remove mold /mildew from shower tile. The waist paper baskets were not emptied. The base of toilets were not wiped, nor was the floor around the toilet. The built in soap dish was not cleaned. I was so disappointed after 3 hours these things that I hired to be cleaned were overlooked. So I took pictures and sent them to Denise the manager, she said I should have been more clear about what was needed, (didn't think I need to - Its in plain sight) and that I should have supplied cleaning products ( was never told this). Then she went on to say she would credit back my Credit Card $25.00 for the inconvenience. ( gee thanks) I work in real estate, I know what a clean bathroom should look like. They do not honor their reclean guarantee! I'm a referral of a current client of theirs. Id give no stars if I could. The first service was awesome! I am 8 months pregnant with twins and recruited help for things that I just physically can not do right now. Then they came for the recurring cleaning with a different team, which they failed to notify me of, and my home was not even cleaned with cleaning products! I was so excited to be able to come home to a clean home. I requested that they use my floor cleaning solution and they informed me that if I left out cleaning solution they would use what was visibly left out, so they did not bring ANY cleaning supplies and reported that they used what I had left out... which was NOTHING. There was a miscommunication on their end and instead of just looking for floor solution they expected me to provide all cleaning products. I do not feel confident that they bleached or cleaned/sanitized anything and so much was missed. No adequate compensation or empathy was provided and they wanted to up my hours and charge more money. HORRIBLE service. I even provided pictures so that they had a visual. They pride themselves on meeting the customer's standard but that is not the case at all. They do not honor their 49 point checklist. When they would not make it right I requested that my service be cancelled and they didnt even try to keep me as a customer. They only offered a $25 discount on the next service which is laughable when so much was missed. They could have kept a customer had they simply offered to come and clean what was missed so that it was worth the money I spent. They simply DO NOT care. Table was not wiped down as there were still crumbs visible Floors were not swept well. I re-swept my kitchen and there was a pile of dirt as well as dust mites Big dirt footprints in kitchen floor as if someone walked on it after mopping with dirty shoes. Very poor service. My apartment is 981 square feet. It has one tiny bathroom with two small bedrooms. Maidpro sent 3 women today and I had to ask them if they were going to vacuum the master bedroom. Nothing was dusted in the master bedroom and I asked them if they were going to even clean that bedroom and I know they were getting ready to leave. I took photos of everything and told them politely that this is a lot of money for me and there were 3 of them and I honestly don't know what they even did. They did not clean the kitchen counters. The windowsills are dirty and dusty. There are crumbs and dirt on my table and floors. I took pictures of everything. A 2 year old could wipe a cloth across any furniture. There didn't move any picture frames to dust. The mirrors and inside windows have stains and smudges from before they came. I asked to please call the owner and they left so angry and called me a liar and slammed my door. I am not someone to ever ask for a free service or complain. But there were 3 grown women at my small apartment for an hour and 20 minutes and didn't do a thorough job. It actually brought me to tears because I had read on the website they do a 49-point cleaning and I have taken pictures of my bathroom toilet, appliances in the kitchen and have compared the check list and nothing was done. My apartment was not that dirty and so I am confused to what they even cleaned. If cleaning is not a priority and you don't mind being woken up at 7:00 am. then this is the company for you. The first couple of cleans were ok. Not great but acceptable. Then one cleaning, I was out of town and told the office lady "Denise" and gave her the garage code. When i got back in town I noticed the cleaner missed part of a bathroom. I call the office right away. I got a snotty rude response. (and an offer of 15min free cleaning. which i never received.) She not only didn't apologize but she defended the cleaner. I reminded her that they were early and they had the garage code. Cleaning was not a priority on this day. I sent the office an e-mail and got a call from Denise at 7:00am, not even apologizing for the early hour of the call or bad cleaning, or acting sorry in any way!!! In fact she was snotty and rude. She gave me one option for re-cleaning and it was either that or 30min cash credit on my card. (like that would make up for missing every bathroom floor and counter top). I did the initial cleaning for 6 hours and then chose weekly cleanings after that. The first cleaning there were some issues. I contacted Denise and she had someone come the next day to do a better job. I then had weekly cleanings from Eva. She's really good and I recommend her. She's fast and efficient. I stopped my weekly cleanings for a while but was having a party so 3 cleaners came for 3-4 hours. When I walked in my home was extremely disappointed. The floors were still a mess. This is an update to my original review that I wrote last year. I need everyone to know that as incentives for free cleanings last year all you had to do was write reviews on certain sites, yelp included. I wrote an A+ review, because they deserved it. I need to be absolutely clear, the people that work for MaidPro are excellent. We've had multiple cleaners over the past decade that we've been using Maidpro and everyone has been extremely professional and easy to work with. In January of 2019 our cleaning rates were substantially raised. I was actually fine with this considering they haven't been raised in years and I assumed that this raise would trickle down to the workers. Unfortunately in the last few weeks I learned that my go to cleaner quit. It was defiantly a shock but what I learned is that Maidpro raised their prices, and are now paying their employees less. This is extremely disappointing to hear because I had nothing but good things to say about this company. Do NOT use this company. First of all I gave them about a 6 out of 10 on there cleaning. They left every countertop in my house dirty. Not to mention they ruined the paint in my oven. We had a great experience with MaidPro cleaners, helping us with a move-out from a furnished apartment. The administration team was quick to respond to our scheduling e-mail, and made several confirmation e-mails to ensure that the date was set. The cleaning was immaculate, covering all surfaces and making our sink shine like never before. For the price of the Yelp deal, this was quite a deal and we tipped fairly generously. Slight points off for the following (minor) reasons: we weren't given a precise time-window (just afternoon), and while we knew we had "4 hours" of cleaning, we did not know until the maids showed up whether it would be 4 hours with one maid or, as turned out to be the case, 80 minutes with three maids. I purchased a Living Social deal for 4 hours of cleaning at a discounted rate. Even at about 50% off their normal rates it was a total waste of time and money. They sent two people who spent four total hours cleaning and only got to 5 rooms in my house. In those five rooms - surfaces weren't dusted, baseboards weren't cleaned, spots were left on my hard wood floors. *UGH* My husband came home and couldn't tell we'd had a cleaning team in. At the end of the cleaning session they rushed me through the rooms, shoved a form in my face to sign and then left. Once they were gone I did a more thorough inspection and was disappointed in the service provided. I don't have time to double check a cleaning agency for the quality of their work. When I pay for a service, I expect it to be completed in a competent manner without having to babysit the workers to make sure they're doing what they are supposed to be doing.
