I had a Teen All Access party here. Which means that this party does not include a dedicated party host throughout the event. The host checks you in at the start and then has you pay the bill at the end. That is the only time you see them. At the end I tipped what I though was a good amount for the service this party came with. However, the host apparently didn't agree and when the credit card bill came, she had increased her tip by $40. read more

Bartenders told me they have no controls and they "really hate having to change channels..." So on a Sunday, they had on Saturday College Football highlights and some random tractor pull... I read all the reviews on this establishment, both good and bad. The positive reviews were well, positive. But the bad reviews were well, more accurate. Everything that was stated in the bad reviews happened to us on our visit to this lackluster "entertainment" business. From the attractions being closed to the games stealing credits, to the over expensive passes that were very useless. For starters we arrived at 8 pm and bought two of the "unlimited attraction wrist bands. Now to be fair we were told the rope course was a nearly two hour wait. We thought this wouldn't be a problem since we arrived at 8:00pm and the place closes at 12:00am. We walked from the wristband purchase to sign up for the ropes course immediately. The ropes course closed at 10:30 and it was so booked that we and a few sets of people ahead of us didn't even get to get on. Wait for bowling was similar. We basically bought $25 apiece "unlimited" attraction wristbands to do laser tag 3 times. We also purchased a $100 game card. But because I had read the reviews of games being broken or stealing credits I watched each swipe like a hawk. Some games would just take your credits and not even give you a play. Some games would take more than one set of credits at once but only give you one play. While others were broken or closed entirely. Some machines wouldn't give you your points to redeem at all. As far as the prize pricing it was steep. So you definitely don't get much for your money. We had about 2000 points for our $100 of game card. Which didn't afford us much. The food was ok but it took so long to get it that my group had to resort to cannibalism like the Donner party to survive. All in all I would 0/10 recommend and my next trip to the Denver area will be happily devoid of a trip to this business. P.S. whoever will answer this review from the business don't bother to offer your trite platitudes such as, we are so sorry you didn't have anything but fun. Or, this is not the experience we strive for. Save that for some poor slob that hasn't patronized your establishment. read more

Oh what to say.....let's start off with the staff: they were great...mostly. First, the greeter was extremely nice. He chatted with me and my daughter for a bit and then promptly seated us. Just nice to walk in and be greeted by a person who truly should be a greeter. Next up, our server (Kelsie) was just awesome. Such a nice individual, left us alone to eat, got us what we needed when we needed it. And took care of a problem (see below) without me even asking. Just great service. Third was a manager in the food area. I was starting to wonder how they hired so many great people at this place. She also helped with the issue below and made sure my daughter felt well taken care of. Genuinely nice and excellent customer service. The final person we talked to was an individual at the prize area. This person? Yeah, polar opposite of the above three. Pretty rude, acted like we were putting her out. She definitely should be at the backend of the place. Or not there at all since she clearly disliked her job. Eh, oh well, can't always hire winners, right? So now on to the games. There are a bunch of them, but not as many as other establishments. And they're kinda overpriced. They're in alignment with establishments of this nature, but still a bit higher than they should be. We had fun playing the ticket games and my daughter did have a lot of fun, so I'll give the place that. But as a parent, eh, not really excited to see the pricing on things. What was nice was how few of them were broken in comparison to other places. I think we came across three total that didn't work. Which isn't too bad in an arcade. The ambiance was what you'd expect - loud, lit well, loud. It really is loud, but you don't go to places like these for an intimate evening. It was fun - lots of energy, awesome music (seemed like everything was from the 90s...even songs that I had completely forgotten about played). The food. Ummmmm, so this is where we weren't happy. It actually wasn't very good. I ordered the Wild West burger. Dry, dry, dry....and salty! It's a pretty large meal, but it wasn't that great. They skimped on the BBQ sauce and they over salted everything. Not a fan, but could have just been the cook. Who knows, but I didn't like it. Their soda was flat. Pretty sure their CO2 was out and they didn't even notice. And it wasn't very cold either. My daughter ordered the Mac and Cheese. It comes with fruit (it seemed really fresh) and fries, which she loved! What she didn't like? Her Mac and Cheese. She took a bite, spit it out and said "it's really bad". So I tried it and said "yeah, it's really bad". She would not eat it. When our server came back, we told her and she was VERY apologetic and asked if my daughter wanted something else. She declined. At the end of the meal, they took the Mac and cheese off our bill, which was nice. I hadn't expected them to since she ate a lot of the fries and fruit. But what was even nicer? The manager and Kelsie made sure she had enough to eat and offered to get her something else. They chatted with her a bit to make sure she was happy and good to go. Truly above and beyond!!! So the place is okay, where it gains stars is the service. Most of the people were incredibly nice and that's hard to come by. Bravo on great staffing!!!! read more

The day me and my friend went to main event. After playing arcade games for about an hour we went to the restaurant, we ordered two entrées and two drinks. We noticed we were out of money. And when our waiter came out, we asked if she could cancel the food. She seemed very unhappy about it. We sat and waited for about an hour. We had to track down another waiter to see if she could find our waiter. After we finally found the waiter, we paid and left. it took our waiter an hour to get us the bill for two drinks. Although I understand canceling is rude. I feel like it should not take an hour to get us a bill for two drinks. I love main event, but will not be returning to the restaurant. Otherwise, the place was pretty clean and family friendly. The one other thing I wanted to comment about is a group of little kids constantly screaming. They scream for about five minutes straight. I was highly impressed with the birthday experience, by far the best place that I have hosted one of my children's birthday parties! The whole experience was great and our party host was amazing, she was available the whole time, we never had to hunt her down for anything we needed, she was very attentive. Warning! Do not fall for the "play all day" ruse! After paying for the "all day long" activity, and renting shoes - we were kicked off of our lane after the first hour. The explanation was that they were busy and people were waiting for lanes. We were denied more time and told that the wait for another lane would be over an hour. The screen behind the registers gives no warning that you will only get an hour of bowling if they are busy, and they won't mention this devious policy as they happily take your money. My wife daughter and I went to the main event to bowl and we paid $7.99 each for all day passes of bowling. Total BS and false advertising. We played it a total of 1.5 games took one hour and we were kicked off because there was a waitlist of 2 people. At the time of purchase none of this was explained and was told by management and employee can bowl with no time limit right when we paid. So we expect to bowl unlimited time for $7.99 each. Totally BS false advertisement and someone has to put a stop to that. They didn't even offer our money back when I complained and said we got cut off halfway through our 2nd game. I've spent $200 in this place like 3x a month and never bowled but once before. I'll never go back again! read more

Really great place to come when you're bored and have nothing to do. There's billards, bowling, arcade, and more. Food is probably some of the best that I have had here; they've revamped their whole menu. Burgers are delicious, fries are amazing. One thing I would like to comment is the slow service. The beer wasn't that good. We bowled and the service was very slow. Then when it was time for my group to rotate to the Olympian obstacle courses I stepped outside for two seconds too exchange my luxury shoes for corduroy house shoes and was denied entry to the course with the east of the group. So it soured my experience because I only changed shoes for the experience and they didn't allow for me to have an experience with my group so I felt a little frustrated. I just don't. An incredibly fun venue with so many options. BUT it takes FOREVER to get checked in and when there is a crowd, you will stand in line a looooooooong time as they are typically understaffed - except for the staff members standing around doing very little to help the customers. After doing the rounds with other vendors (Chucky Cheese's, Spider Monkey, Monkey Bizness, and a handful of others) this was by far the best experience. Attentive & dedicated staff to our party. Setup bowling, provided drinks with great customer service, well decent menu for the party (nuggets, fruit, fries) walked the kids through the arcade and rope course. Main Event seems like a cool idea, the space looks good, and there is a lot to do. The Bowling was awesome and laser tag was a blast. That being said, there were two things that would keep us from coming back to main Event again for a while until they get their stuff together, being new and all. 1. When we purchased (all-day, unlimited bowling, laser tag, and billiards) the wristbands, the staff member seemed oriented more to getting them sold then providing an explanation on where we would go for signing up for bowling. As a result we had to walk back and forth between the customer service and bowling since there weren't clear instructions. 2. Food Service - some in our group were hungry, we decided to place an initial order of food, burger w/ salad and onion rings (to share). 30-40min after the order when we asked about it, the response was - we just heard our kitchen is backed up, and we're understaffed. At 45min, food hadn't come yet and we cancelled the order, because the staff couldn't tell us when that initial order would arrive. Food showed up at about 50-55min after order. There was a separate table where they had ordered after us and received their food prior. We'll consider main event when they've been open a bit longer and worked out their staffing kinks. read more

So I went to the main event in Albuquerque New Mexico when I visited family and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I expected the same at this new location and It was quite the opposite. Many things to discuss: No one greeted us (my son, fiancé and myself) at the front as we passed by many employees. We sat near the bar and wanted to play pool, but couldn't find how to get the balls. So we approached the front desk and they directed us to the bar. The bar then told us no and directed us to the front where we entered and never got greeted. We went there and still, no one greeted us. Finally the lady at the bar followed us and got the pool balls (thank you!). Ok, so now we are playing pool and want food and drinks. No servers , no managers NO ONE!!!! This is very weird. This is a new location with many many many employees and you would think the number one thing they are taught is customer service and greeting customers. Quite the opposite. We find the tablet at the table and proceed to order. Still no one approaches us and employees are passing us by. We get our food and we never have a bartender or a server come to us for 15 mins. Finally, a lady approached us and I asked for help. I asked for service as we have been here for 15 mins and nothing. She informed us there are no servers for the area next to the pool tables. Ok, that makes no sense, but I got a response and we will move on. I go to the bar and attempt to order, but 3 managers, yes 3, stand there and talk but never approached me. I finally get their attention and order I take my drinks to the table and now I get told to pay for my drinks. I asked if I can just pay for everything at once, but the male bartender seems confused and asks others if I can have the drinks added to my food. This bartender was horrible. Now that we have our food and drinks, I want to watch some football. I ask if certain games can be watched on the TVs in front of me. I guess that was asking too much. Not only could they not get the games up that I wanted but then the TVs kept changing channels after I requested certain games. This is way too much now!!! As we were playing pool I accidentally spilled my fiancé's beer. I know shame on me. But here is the kicker, 6-8 (no exaggeration) different servers pass us by and watched us as we cleaned up our spill. They are so inconsiderate and so inattentive here. This will probably be the first and the last time I come. Two star because the food came out quickly and was decent. To the managers or owners, I know you are newly opened, but maybe you should go back and provide additional training and maybe some one on one conversations with your managers. If you have one issue that was called out, a manager should be informed and they should go to the customers and see if everything is ok. Just my one bit of advice. Having a great time here! Big shout out to the staff who has bent over backwards to make our experience a fun one. We came with 4 kids, ages 8-11. We chose the $20 unlimited activity pass for each child and soon concluded this wasn't the best choice for the littler kids. They were taken by the bright lights and sounds of the 100's of Games! Ropes course and laser tag were a bit intimidating for them. Immediately, a staff member and manager worked with us and let the littler boys swap out for a game pass. Wow! This review is for birthday parties. Main Event is great fun if you're just going for the day but I do not recommend them for birthday parties. We just paid about $300 for our son's party and were really disappointed in the set up and service. That price only included 2 pizzas for 10 teenagers which was not explained at the time of booking. They also placed us at a community table when the woman booking had referred to "our party room." Just a miscommunication, but I thought we would be in a private party room. They only had 3 parties at our time and they had us all crammed in next to each other. The party next to us had a bunch of adults and they kept invading our space. We were told adults were not included in the party package. Many of the games were broken, the soda machine was broken, and the party hostess wasn't around for most of our party. Make the drive to Boondocks. They do a much better job in my opinion. read more
