After a bad experience with another local cleaners I decided to do a dry clean challenge. I am…read moretaking 5 shirts and 2 dry clean items to lots of different places to see who does the best job for the best price. This place is so small there's no computer check in. They just ask your name and write you a ticket. They do not do dry cleaning on location and they do not have a drive through. I got my clothes back quickly and here's what I found. The dry cleaned items were $3.59 each. Pretty reasonable when compared to other clears BUT I had taken sweaters. The sweaters were hung on wire hangers. (Womp womp) there was no protection at the shoulders no folding with tissue. Just hanging where the shoulders would get horns in a hurry. Noooooo!! The men's shits were $1.99. That's kinda high. But it's really high when you get back shirts that look awful!! See photo. Whaaaaah! Now I have to take them back for a re-do. I'll update this when I get them back to see how they handle this. Still looking for the overall winner in my dry cleaners challenge. Stay tuned! Update: I took the shirts back. The girl is friendly and took them with a smile. They were ready the next day at 5. They looked much better but there was never any kind of apology for making me return to fix the situation. Sometimes just a "Sorry to put you out" goes a long way.

Dropped off several sport coats, which I thought a slight pricey at nearly $7 each but considering I came in after 5 PM on a Friday and they were available for pick up the next day by 2 PM, it didn't seem too bad. They also had a Yelp check-in coupon for 20% off so that came in handy. Initially I had my 3 year-old with me and both the woman who checked us out as well as the young male worker took the time to speak with him. He was very interested in going into the back and he was jokingly offered a job once he turned 16! Even with the few minutes of chit chat and setting up a new account, drop off was easy and surprisingly quick. Pick up was just as smooth. I liked that they helped me get the hangers up off the rod being that they were rather heavy. All of the jackets looked good as new and had a pleasant, fresh sent. Dana, the attendant at Crowley Laundromat keeps this establishment very clean and organized, I was EXPRESSED ! Prices are moderate (average) and it looks like new machines everywhere. The dryers dry fast, same as washing machines were done before i knew it. I loved the atmosphere and it was kept cool inside ! Thank heaven cause I'm a hot natured person. Its conveniently located in downtown next to Sonic. They open at 7am and last wash is at 8:45 pm. They offer laundry service ( wash & fold ) and have WIFI and 4 large screen TV's. Everyone is friendly but that's how Crowley is I assume. They are disability friendly which is a bonus. Question: Do you use laundry mats or just trying to catch up on it all ?
