My treatment was with Tim - such a warm and inviting doctor. I was a bit wary of the community setting (it seemed a bit uncomfortable to me that others would hear our conversation), but Tim spoke softly to maintain privacy. I think they also have a spare room for private treatments. Frankly, I think sharing the experience with the 6 other people added to my experience. Everyone was respectful of each others treatments. So incredible. With the sliding scale payment scheme, I can definitely afford to have frequent visits. This is particularly helpful for me since I have a history of joint and muscle injuries that take a bit more time to treat. There's a $10 fee for the first visit, then it's $15-$35 a session, depending on what you can afford. What a remarkable way to offer treatment! I made my appointment via their website - totally easy process. Oh, and it's cash or check only, but Alternatives is right around the corner. I can't speak highly enough about ICA - 5 stars all around.

My footing was unstable and I couldn't drive. Since the diagnosis was that it was a nerve problem, I consulted with Dr. Gong. She said it was an unusual problem and made no promises, but said that she would be willing to give it a try. After nine appointments with Dr. Gong between late April and early June, the double vision disappeared. When Dr. Gong started her treatments, we decided she should work on two other problems also. First, in Sept. 2006 I had torn a ligament in my right ankle. I had gone to an orthopedist and physical therapist at the time and done the exercises they recommended. The ankle improved, but never felt quite right. Since Dr. Gong has been treating the ankle, it has noticeably improved. Second, in July 2023 I was diagnosed with a pinched nerve in my neck that caused considerable pain around my left shoulder blade and discomfort down my left arm to my hand. I had three months of physical therapy and took Gabopentin for 2 1/2 years. The shoulder blade pain went away and the arm discomfort lessened, but residual discomfort remained in my left forearm and index finger and thumb. Since Dr. Gong has been treating those areas, the discomfort has lessened further.
