Small place with lots of clutter. Overpriced smalls and not much selection of "practical" items. They could use more vintage items people can use day to day. Cast iron, jars, clothes, knives, etc. some odd items and some vintage things. I am not the target clientele for this establishment- I am a minimalist that avoids clutter, I do not enjoy shopping and I prefer neat and tidy to deep recesses of knick knacks. However, I can appreciate this store for what it is-a treasure trove of unique items, curated by a passionate owner. I found myself here with a friend while we were killing time waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant. My friend was enthusiastically pointing out different areas of the store with trinkets and treasures filling every corner. The only person more excited was the owner, who happily showed us different things and told stories of their origin. If you like exploring through old things, with no real objective other than the journey and the memories, this is a great place to do it. And while you're there, you just might find the perfect addition to your collection...whatever that may be. read more

My daughter (with special needs who loves vintage stuff) and I visited this wonderful shop today while visiting St George, so many fun and unique and beautiful antiques and art (even things I remember from my grand parents homes as a little girl - that bring a wonderful nostalgic feeling) . but I think the best part of the visit - was the owner's kindness, I was a little nervous being in a store with so many beautiful breakables, yet the owner made us feel so comfortable and welcomed, he was not nervous at all having us in there, We left with a great treasure that he gave us a wonderful deal on. but mostly we left with a treasure in our hearts from the kindness we felt. Excellent little place. I enjoy looking through antique shops whenever I can, and this one was an instant favorite. The store is very nicely displayed and has a wide variety of items, without getting too cluttered or claustrophobic. The owner, Jerry, is incredibly welcoming and personable. Great place to hunt around for antiques- location is deceptively small on the outside but has multiple rooms that go back pretty far. Lots of unique items here, from carved bone (not ivory!) tusks to Tiffany lamps and various collectible coins and stamps. Staff are friendly and prices are negotiable. Main Street Antiques is a cute little antique store in St. George, Utah. Like most antique stores in the west they offering a diverse variety of goods, some interesting and antique and some other items that really just belong at a thrift shop. Main Street Antiques had some interesting and reasonably priced merchandise, including everything from furniture and paintings, to baseball cards, coins, old cameras, china, and a sweet 1880s cash register. Beware, the shop owner has very little actually priced with tags. When you get interested in an item, he has to run to the back and look up the current price on the internet. He told me he found a similar item on the net for $60 in sad condition when the one he had was pristine. I searched on the same site he said he uses, never found one above $20. He has some interesting things, but not anything really rare, but I don't care for the way he does business. Put a price on the item and let it stand or run around every single day changing the prices. I should have been suspicious. read more

To Whoever Is Questioning Going Here: You need to stop questioning and walk into the store! It is the best antique story I have ever been to. By the way, I am only 12, but the lady who helped us when we went on vacation to St. George was the nicest person ever! She let my family look at whatever we seemed interested in. She opened a glass case just so my brother could look at sports cards and pocket knives! She let me help her unpackage some porcelain dolls that had just came in the store and look at them for about two hours. Do NOT go to Main Street in St. George and not go here! Prices are on the high end. I didn't like that they had breakables on a rocking chair which you could easily run into since walkway is small. The store itself is in such a quaint little part of town! read more

Nice antique store that is larger than it looks from the street. Some high end antiques mixed with collectibles like sports, coins, and comics. Owners were friendly. I would say there is something priced for everyones wallet size, they welcomed offers too. read more

This guy came off to me is very unprofessional I walked in with over an ounce of gold and antique china and he automatically turned me down and said he won't buy it honestly he does nothing but Bad Business he never buys anything they say they buy stuff there but i went in there you have to have really good stuff I have some 1963 gold inlay China and I have over a hundred 50 piece set and he wouldn't offer me nothing you just turn me out the door so he has bad service read more

Main Street Antiques houses some great antique furniture complete with snippets of the history scrawled on tags to note who owned the pieces. Lovely dish sets are displayed alongside griddles and various kitchen tools and accessories. They also have some nice paintings and books throughout the shop. I love the antique cash registers that are in the front section of the store across from the glass cases of rings, pins, bracelets, and earrings. Though the selection is on the small side, there are some very nice pieces. Main Street Antiques is definitely worth a visit, especially since the help is so friendly and the prices are so reasonable. read more

Extremely kind and helpful owners. A wonderful and unique selection. I ended up snagging a gorgeous Victorian chaise lounger accompanied by two chairs in perfect, mint condition. I will say the set and price was great enough that not only am I towing it back to SC with me. I am now getting rid of all my pieces I have planned to bring back from my storage in CO. I hope that we do come back through here at some point. As after chit chatting with the owner, his daughter and grandson, I would love to continue supporting them. =) Even if you're just passing though I highly suggest stopping. read more
