I miss their yummy cafe, but they still have delicious cookies-- the original pink frosted sugar ones and many others. Their cafe space is now a gift shop with amazing things. They have picnic tables outside to eat treats. I signed up to be a rewards member and got free cookies already. I love Dutchman's!! If there's a place like Cheers (the show!) it's Dutchman's! There are very few places that you can go into and feel like family. As if you are going to hang out with friends. Their bakery items -mostly giant pink frosted cookies are excellent! The best in Utah in my humble opinion. In fact, if you do a bit of research you will find that they have been making this pink cookie for over 20 years and they are the original pink cookie baker. This place is the OG frosted cookie place AND a hole in the wall joint. Things don't get better than that. Utah for some reason cannot get enough of waiting in a line of cars to get a giant cup of dirty sodas at 9 AM so they started including cookies in the mix. Apparently one of the popular soda slop troughs *cough* Sodalicous *cough* took the idea from swig or stole the recipe, I don't know and don't really care because I can go and get the original perfect 20+ year cookie at this gas station. You can't go wrong with any of the options here. The peanut butter is awesome, the strawberry is tasty and makes me think of summer, the oatmeal chocolate chip was lacking in flavor but it was soft and feels good. It's probably not worth repeating since every other review seems to state it, but this is the place for the real "Swig cookie". At one point they supplied to the soda shop but we've been grabbing cookies here before Swig was even a twinkle in the eye. Now, if you were to do a blind taste test between the Dutchman's pink sugar cookie and the knock off that Swig is peddling, you wouldn't hesitate to ditch the Swig and drive out of your way for the original. Remember when Swig was the new hot place to hit up? We couldn't get enough of their pink cookies. Then remember when they spread to lots of locations and the magic seemed to fade a little bit? For me the magic was lost when the edges of the pink cookies lost their jaggedy edges and became smooth. Well we can't have the magic of Zach and Kelly back on "Saved by the Bell" but you can turn back time and get the magic of the old Swig cookies at Dutchman's. The unsubstantiated rumors I have heard is this is the place that used to supply them to Swig. Those jaggedy edges are back and the texture is just right. At first glance this is just a gas station, but the cookies are in there. They even do the whole "dirty" drink there, named "muddy." You mix your own which is just fine with me. Definitely out of the way, but preferred over Swig. read more

It seems like just a hometown gas station, but when you step inside you fee like your at your friends house in a way! Obviously you have to try their ORIGINAL pink cookies. They made the recipe over 20 years ago and this is where the "pink cookie" we now see at all the drink stops came from. Not only can you get the delicious pink cookie the way it was supposed to taste, but they are brownies are the best I've ever tasted! They also have O'Henry bars, chocolate made cookies, coconut sugar cookies, chocolate chip, oatmeal chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, peanut butter, and peanut butter with chocolate frosting. You just can't leave without getting an assorted box! Their food is also amazing! They have a new cook from Argentina and he makes the most delicious empanadas you can find in town! There's caprese, beef, chicken, ham and cheese. Try all four! Their sandwiches are delicious and homemade income on a delicious stew about a barn.
