I have been going to Main Street Barbers for many years, since they opened in fact. The barbers are all great, friendly and skilled. I have never had a bad haircut there. I had a really bad experience there!!!when u come in the shop they sit you and they ask how short....that's it!!!I had to get into the barbers world and try to explain him what to do....i have showed him a picture on his wall of how I want my hair to look like!!! So he start cutting...and cutting...and cutting...after 30 min I realized my hair was way to short...and net even close to the style I wanted it. I said..OK. I got home and I have checked myself in my mirror and I realized I have the worst hair cut I have ever had...is way to short..and is not even closest to what I asked...and maibe this is because the guys from there they barely communicate English. I had a terrible and threatening experience at this business. I went in for a buzz cut and a beard trim (mostly for the beard) and was welcomed by a man right away and sat down in his chair. i told him what i wanted and was interrupted twice with his "interpretation" of what i wanted. so i digressed and allowed him to begin. the buzz cut was OK. i am severely balding and this is the solution. although he missed the few hairs in the front. He then started on my beard. I define the actions he made at murderous. he stabbed at my beard with the clippers with what seemed like no thought for the length I talked about. Once he started "cleaning" up the lines of my beard i noticed he was turning my beard into a chin strap. taking way too much from my cheeks. I asked him to stop and told him the error I felt he made. At this point i was ready to leave and go to another barber to try and salvage what was left. This barber told me that "I will not charge you for the beard trim, so you will pay $20 for the haircut" I told him that i would not pay for the hair cut. now that I had to another barber and pay to fix his mistake. I said that I would not pay anything for his horrible service. This barber then stormed to the door and locked the deadbolt. he started screaming at me and swearing about how i had planned to come in and get a free hair cut by claiming that he did a bad job. I took out my phone and told him that i was going to record the rest of this conversation and he flipped out even more! i told him that i did not plan on leaving until we agreed that I was not going to pay anything for the "haircut". After his workmate talked with him he told me to leave and to never come back. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this shop. I went to Tower lane Barber Shop to fix his barbercide and will continue to return there for my shaves. read more

They never fail to deliver! My son, as an air cadet get his hair cut OFTEN it always looks amazing, priced well and the gentlemen in there have always been friendly. My son won't let anyone else cut his hair. Period. read more

Terrible haircuts! iv gone to this place many times because of the price and location, but it's true what they say you get what you pay for... I don't know how many times they have cut the back of my neck to short or crooked! Also when you ask for a number above 1 or 2 they like to make room for your ears? It's the actual number you wanted on top and cut to a 1 on the bottom, which sounds nice but ends up rounding your head (doesn't help when you cutting the hairs they missed). I recently got a hair cut from the older guy there and he gives the worst haircuts! You know how people line up the side of your hair to the top well one side looks good the other he shaved it off with a zero instead of having a line that goes forward then up it basically goes straight up to the top up my head! They have lost my business and I'll be glad to spread the word around not to go there I wouldn't want anyone else to pay for this haircut.
