Good service but they're a little too expensive for what I need. As a 70year old man with very little hair (buzz cut) and a beard that needed a trim, I thought $40 was too much for what ended up being a 15 min service. As a senior at other shops, I usually get a reduced price especially for my mostly bald head. read more

Very happy with my experience. Got a buzz cut with Art who is new to this shop but not new to the profession, so don't hesitate to book with him. I booked online and they held the appointment with my credit card on file, but did not charge me until after the service was done. This is so they are paid if you no show - and that's a fair policy in my opinion. Comfortable chairs, clean equipment, comfortable modern style and all around friendly people. Update: came back a year later, Andrew cut my hair and he was on point. Walked in and said "i trust you guys, line me up." Again it was a 10/10 I'm convinced every barber in this shop can give a quick , professional, and amazing haircut for a great price. Ask them about the lounge it sounds like a great time. Ed is hands down the best barber I have ever had. Ive lived in Maine, New Hampshire, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Florida and I have never received a better haircut. Ed is genuinely a great person and has created an environment where his whole shop is committed to the client leaving feeling good about themselves due to their hair looking great. I personally have told Ed he needs to raise his rates to match the fees of other shops who charge more and offer far less. His shop is a bargain for the quality of cut. read more

Hey everyone, I have to give this place and more importantly the owner two thumbs up! My buddy and I were on our way to Bentley's after eating at Duffy's and we said should have brought some cigars. My buddy looked on the net for a cigar shop nearby and the Main Street Barber Shop came up. We were within walking distance so there we went. We walked in and wow! The place was well packed with patrons and the owner immediately spoke up and said "Hey guys". So we picked a couple of cigars up and went to the register and waited 2 seconds before the owner came over to ring me up. Unfortunately I had thos Credit card protection app turned on and the transaction was declined. He graciously said dont worry buddy this happens all the time. So I tried to go into the app to turn it off and there was no service. Meanwhile the poor kid getting a cut is waiting on me and I felt like a jerk. He told me his wireless password so i could get online to turn this app off and i was finally successful in completing the transaction. This guy, this place and the people that we spoke to in looking for a cigar were the great as well. If you have some time go get your hair cut and pick up a cigar or two! read more

You have to love an in town locally owned business. Totally pleasant vibe and welcoming to all.
