On vacation from California, on our way to Neah Bay Wa. Vlosest coffee shop to where we were staying. Seems to be a bit out in the middle of no where, but excites to have found the place. The cinnamon rolls were big, and would have been way better had they been warmes up for us. I had to ask for forks, which they had to dig for and only found a few. I ordered a blended expresso which was ok.. wish i had found a starbucks. My son ordered a iced chai latte..which was not on the menu and tasted weird. read more

I stopped in this town on the way back from a beach trip to grab a coffee. I trusted Yelp in the recommendation and I was not let down. This was the best coffee I have ever had and the young women that worked there was very nice. I ordered an iced Americano and it was delicious. I don't think I will be back because of how out of the way the shop is. read more

Takes 20 mins for them to make a coffee, they are to busy smoking and joking then actually working. Maybe in a small town people appreciate wasting a half hour to get coffee and talk to the crack head barista, but I prefer getting my coffee as soon possible. My husband and I were heading north on I-5 in the morning, and hubby wished out loud for a "nice pastry and a coffee." A quick Google search brought up two bakeries in nearby Yoncalla. One didn't serve coffee, and since we only wanted to make one stop we choose this one, Mainstreet Espresso & Bakery. SO glad we did!! It has two drive/walk up windows, and plus a little seating area outside with table and chairs in front, looking across the street toward the fields and forest. FIRST, the coffee: you can order any which way you like, with a plethora of syrups if you like. The owner has run several coffee shops before settling into "the quiet life" in Yoncalla. SECOND: the baked goods!! There were apricot scones, blueberry scones, and cranberry-almond scones, each with a perfect sugar crust on the outside and moist on the inside. If you ask the owner will let you have a taste of the pumpkin bread before buying (delicious! We bought a loaf for us and a loaf to take to our daughter). Apparently they are well known for their giant cinnamon rolls, so we got one of those, too. (Haven't eaten it yet, but looks and smells yummy). TIP: if it is your first time there, let the owner know! He will let you choose a FREE pastry when you purchase another. And finally, the owner, Russ (we think it was Russ; it was an "R" name). He was so personable, conversational, and friendly, the kind of person you feel is an instant friend. Very interested in making sure he got our coffees just the way we like them. VERDICT: I think stopping here may become a new tradition on our travels through the area. The pumpkin bread is gift-worthy, and the whole experience super pleasant. read more

The people are the nicest people I've ever met, always happy and make the best coffee drinks anywhere. Stopped on our way south for a drive-thru cup of coffee early Columbus Day morning. The woman who waited on us was efficient, and also so warm, friendly and welcoming - not at all expected for just "grabbing a quick cup to go!" The coffee was perfect and added bonus: pumpkin bread and cookie tasted homemade and were delicious!!! Husband & I love everything about this place.
