Gabriel Pizza - Fairly thick pizza. Tasty.

3.5 stars if only I could…read more Giving them 3 stars because the pizza was good and tasty, as well as filling. It was a thicker crust, heavier, with thicker cheese than the competition. The problem is the price! We were so spoiled in Stittsville, getting pizza for $17.99 for a large with 3 toppings! These days around Brockville and Prescott, a large is around $30, and a chicken topping is extra. I can say that this pizza had real chicken - true slices. And the space smelled so good, oddly even in the restroom. So, lots of good things. I was disappointed there was no indoor dining, as this spot is takeout only, but not surprised, as this chain has very few dine in restaurants. Next time, I might be tempted to try one of their specials.

I stopped in from out of town, having sought out a pizza place for a bite to eat. At the door, I…read moresaw that they sold slices of pizza from 12-2 pm, but I came in at about 3:30 and there was one left. I ordered it and got a cup of their house garlic dipping sauce. The person behind the counter was bright-eyed and kind! I appreciated her service, which was the main high point of my visit. Notably, there is no indoor (nor outdoor) seating. I ducked into the washroom before heading back to the car. The washroom was terrible and made me reconsider the experience entirely. It was dimly lit, the door doesn't latch (so I just hoped nobody would walk in), and it smelled strongly of urine. I saw some wet spots on the floor near the toilet. The seat itself was clean, but I was very careful not to touch more than I needed to. 1/5 stars. The pizza was a bit greasy but tasty, and the garlic dipping sauce was absolutely fantastic. Overall, I'm sure this place is excellent for takeout or delivery, but don't expect to sit down. And don't use the washroom.

This is a situation where if I could select 0 stars I would because we were never actually served…read moreand instead were yelled at to leave. We entered the pizzeria with a service dog in training and were immediately confronted by a small dog that was completely loose and growling at the dog I was training. My dog stood still and did not vocalize or lunge back. Someone who worked there then came out and yelled at us to leave because dogs are not allowed. My dog was wearing a vest from the non-profit organization that he is from that identifies him as a service dog in training. As a service dog in training he is not covered under ADA, which I fully understand and respect. However, I am typically at least given the opportunity to explain that I am training the dog, and once the establishment understands the situation and sees that my dog follows all the same rules as a service dog, access is typically allowed. My issue with this place is not that we were denied access but the way the situation was handled. I understand that people bringing their pets with them everywhere and the entitlement that sometimes comes along with that is a problem. I understand and actually appreciate strict no pet policies, and respect a businesses decision not to allow a service dog in training. But, the fact that there is a confrontational dog completely loose in the pizzeria while being yelled at to leave because dogs aren't allowed did not sit well with me. I always try and put myself in the shoes of someone who is blind or has a disability that requires the use of a service dog, and after experiencing how we were treated I did not want to support this business so we ended up getting pizza elsewhere. It was a very unfortunate experience. Hopefully the dog is much friendlier to people, but even still, not everyone wants to be greeted by a loose dog nor do they want a dog loose in a place they will be dining.
