Had a great time. Was a great tour, very informative!!!! Great tour guide! Suggested the Walking Dead tour, have been wanting to do that before it shuts down and we decided that will end out weekend tomorrow. I definitely was "feeling epic"!!!

If you're a Vampire Diaries fan, you'll love this tour. Unfortunately we were interested in all the other films and shows made here. To be called a "Covington Movie Tour" too much time was spent on Vampire Diaries only. A little bit on Heat of the Night. Nothing on Dukes of Hazzard. Cursory mentions of 1-2 movies. Not what we expected. This tour should've more accurately been titled "Vampire Diaries Tour" and we would not have signed up for that tour. The highlight was stopping at Twelve Oaks and going inside, but even that focused on Vampire Diaries scenes only.

Back in March I was there for the Epic Tour and Laura for our tour guide it was an amazing time she worked on the set of Vampire Diaries including one of the select sights you can only see with Main Street Trolley and is full of back stage knowledge you just can't get anywhere else..... On October 22, 2022 I had the IMMENSE pleasure of attending the Hello Brother Tour along side the Convention and had one of the best time of my life our amazing tour guide Ashley Sue and her partner in crime Kaitlyn are the best, we laughed and it was like being at a party our driver Ro was great smooth comfortable ride. I also have to give a shout out to Sabrina and Brad for putting it all together AMAZING JOB all around can't wait to go back.

This tour is a must for all Heat of the Night fans! We visited Covington to find out all about the TV show. We stayed in the 'Heat of the Night' room at the Twelve Oaks B&B and picked up some brochures w/self-guided tours of historical homes and various movie/TV locations, including the Heat of the Night. After we drove around Covington using their brochures, we thought we had seen it all. But the next morning when we took the Main Street Trolley Tour, we were pleasantly surprised to get the 'back story' about the TV show. Our tour guide, Karenda, grew up in a town nearby where most of the cast lived for years during the TV series. She had spoken to Carroll O'Connor many times. She had a wealth of information about where certain episodes were filmed, including the episodes filmed at the Twelve Oaks B&B. Her and our driver went out of their way give us a great tour. You won't find out the true story behind The Heat of the Night by taking a self-guided tour using any of the brochures at the Welcome Center. Only their tour gives you the inside scoop. So if you want to know where the warehouse with the 'Movie Sets' was, where the 'restaurant on the veranda' of the lovely mansion was , where Bubba's 'other' apartment was, where the Sparta water tower was, or where 'the Bottoms' were - you have to take the Main Street Trolley 'Heat of the Night' tour and ask Karenda to find out!

Let me begin by saying this is by far the BEST tour in Covington GA . If you are a Vampire Diaries fan you will not be disappointed ! Karenda and her tour guides have made this a true passion for the fans that come from all over the world to have the most epic experience ever ! But it doesn't stop there , if you enjoy the shows Sweet Magnolia , The Heat of The Night and the classic Dukes of Hazzard you are in for a treat . All of the history and the back story is definitely a moment you will not forget . The tour gives you once in a lifetime opportunities to stop for photo ops and so much more . Exclusive access to filming locations that you will never forget . Huge thank you to Main Street Trolly and the crew for your hospitality , awesomeness , and the best day of our lives!!!!!!! It's a must have tour to do and check off your bucket list !

Main Street Trolley's is my favorite tour in Covington. They are all about supporting their community and that means a lot for a fellow small business owner like me. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. I have taken many of their tours each time bringing new friends or family members so they can have the experience. So many shows and movies have been filmed here and the guides are so knowledgeable and willing to share info and stories from filming. They also take you to exclusive Vampire Diaries and Originals locations that you wouldn't be able to see otherwise. If you are in town check them out.

Well for starters the bus arrived late and pushed the arrival/ start time back. When we got on to…read morethe bus there was a safety hazard with the steps they were already steep but also at the top you could possibly trip. Also when the host gave the introduction he said "If you don't like it the door is down there." He also said "If you fall down you will be on world star." An as we were departing from the bus we didn't even get to go boxes until someone asked. Over all the food was mid . The tumblers we got to take with us were dirty & so were the tables and floors etc. But otherwise the experience was nice along with the whole aesthetic.

Maybe I had my expectations too high, however I don't think so…read more I booked and received and email that the day got cancelled and they would book me for another day or refund me. Thankfully we were able to rebook as we were celebrating a birthday and she really wanted to do this. The address in the link is WRONG! It takes to you to a location that is not the pick up spot and when you but in Traders Vs it wants to take you inside the Hilton, however if you just keep walking down the side walk of John Portman and the pick up is on the side of the parking garage across the street from Traders Vic's. We were able to spot a bunch of ladies dressed for tea all looking lost, hence we knew we were in the right place. The bus pulled up and having VIP meant absolutely nothing as everyone boarded the bus and you were told what table to sit at as you checked in. All seating was on top with the VIP being towards the back of the bus. Apparently they knew that someone was lost because we waited beyond the take off time for folks to show up. There wasn't much instruction given like today you will be tasting ALL the teas as we come around and give you a sip (literally a sip) ~ no sugar or honey or milk on the table. Asked for sugar as was given two packets. The food was meh . . . I can't say it was worth upgrading to the VIP as we left numerous things untouched. Nothing was mentioned as far as what we were having. It was wrapped in plastic and we unwrapped it and dug in. The placemats serve a purpose and we need more placemats or y'all need to rethink the table coating because anything not on the placemat will slide away. No rinsing cups between drinks so sip up even if you didn't like what was served. We were offered left over tea when we left but it was first come, first serve. I had expected more insight to the places we were passing by, instead I got A LOT of singing. At one point t I had to ask the significance of a statue as was met with "it really isn't important" - we approached Centennial Park and I had to let my guest know as the host was busy taking selfies with guest. I feel like we finished faster than what we had anticipated and it left me feeling like a rushed experience versus a nice tea. The food was lackluster and these extra bites didn't seem to equate to what we paid for. There were items online (such as the deviled egg) that we didn't get and we were told that the menu is t always the same. So I can say this with confidence, been there done that, got me once, won't get me again.
